Finally Saturday Morning
 

I'm only happy about it because my wife is coming home today :) Not that it's a day off or anything, just because she is coming home. I really hate it when she is gone.

Anyway, my father is coming to visit today before she gets home. He is leaving at he end of the month for 6 months in Arizona. So, it will be busy today.

Morning all -
Woke up at 4:30am for no reason that I know of, I just woke up.
If it doesn't rain, I need to get the lawn mowed. Submits and reviews are already done, so I guess that's my only to-do item.

Today appears to be the last day of summer here. High temp today about 77F, and going downhill fast from there. High temps next week expected to be mid 50's.

There's a party here today for The Bitch's friend, who turned 30 the other day. While I like most of the people that are coming, there are a few that I'd rather just avoid, which will be hard because I'm not letting any of them behind my bar. It's one of those parties where certain people can only get served certain beverages - these 2 can have Capt Morgan, this one can have Canadian Club, this one can have Absolute...the rest get draft beer or a cup from the many "box-o-wine" I've had for 2 years. It will make me happy to scream "BEER OR WINE" at a handful of these people :D

Another exciting day in my fucking boring life.

Spent most of yesterday playing computer geek for Angel and then my neighbor, I thought I retired from computer consulting. Still have one more raid to do for Angel once it is finished rebuilding which should be today.

Was suppose to go out last night but after a day of being a computer slave I lost my grove and just went to bed way too early.

Doing the gym thing this morning and then really haven't thought much about what the rest of the day will entail.

I have a 7 hour drive today, much of it alongside those pretty coloured trees.
It won't be long before autumn is upon us. The smell of leaves burning, crisp air that makes you gasp and your cheeks flush, the crunch & rustle of leaves. All very bittersweet. |twinkle

(Okay, maybe 'completely different' is stretching things a little...but it is a different domain on a different server, so damn it that has to count for something.)

Oh yeah, and waiting to hear if there's an OTB today.

Dry weather I have.. Rain is good.. except at night when i'm taking rug dawg to see the sites.. then rain is bad. so can you have him request.. day rain only, please?? hmm come to think of it.. the last time i spent more than one night in SFO was because they had an earthquake there while I was in Candlestick park.. we thought it was just the fans being excited about the world series. WAIT.. that was the same week in October too.. i'm doooommmmmed. :D
