And, Happy Columbus Day to the US people. We are all a little Italian today :) Enjoy the Turkey (if that's what you eat in Canada) and for the US people, enjoy the diferent celebrations. All it really is for me is a day I don't have to go to the post office or bank :)

My fat ass seems to have gained about 10 pounds since my last diet, so I'm back on the Fat Smash Diet for a couple of days - has some fruit salad & I'm enjoying a lovely caffeine free herbal tea |pokefun| |greenguy|

Aside from a trip to the good ole Nut Doctor today at 3, I'll be here all day |thumb

Oh great… no mail today. Waiting for something to arrive and this means it will take one more day, bummer.

Not much happening in my world. Spent most of yesterday just running errands and working feeling very sleep deprived.

Going to start my day like I'm going to the gym but may get a phone call in the next hour or so and have to skip the gym and head out to the west side of town for an appointment instead. I hate not knowing for sure what my day's plans are.

Tried to go to the gym yesterday but after a half hour there I realized that it was a futile attempt having had no sleep the night before so left after doing just the treadmill . I really would like to find the time today now that I've had a good night's sleep.

Met a guy the other day at the grocery store that knew me from the gym and talked to him on the phone late last night for well over a hour. Interesting guy and I may go out on a date with him later this week. Not my usual type but I do find him interesting and he seems real sweet.

The daily chores are done, time to sit down and make my 'to do' list for the week...

Perhaps Fall has finally reached south Texas. Forecast highs only in the lower 80s, and by mid week lower 70s with overnight lows into the 50s. I'm sure the natives will be diggin out the sweaters and winter jackets. In the 4½ years I've lived here I think I've worn a jacket only 5 or 6 times, and yes the natives all look at me funny in my shirt sleaves.

Another beautiful morning when I woke up at 4 - and looks like the rest of the day should be fantastic - off to do payroll and hit the bank deposits - other than that just a bunch of outside work to catch up on

well i think that the XXXmas shopping season has finally hit. I had peeps taking #'s yesterday with 'bear'ly time to breathe in between and had to shut down my booth at 430pm due to back up of orders.

Not much to do today except wait for my payroll fed-ex so i can pass out checks to happy little faces. oh and farking PE.

already had turkey so it's just another day here except the kids are home so that's going to mess me up all week I'm going to think tomorrow's monday etc...

Looks like I'll be having a chat with my main computer here most of the day. Getting drive errors on one array...think it's time to get everything installed on the other array I installed a couple months ago and never got around to setting up.

By the way...we porn slingers use a LOT of software...didn't really realize that til I started trying to gather all of it for a reinstall |banghead|

After a late night, I slowly made it down the stairs to make my coffee when I discovered that there is no milk- grr. I somehow managed to stumble to the dep.

I seem to have an acute sense of smell in this state. The air has a scent that is distinctly 'autumn', though I can't place my finger on it's composition. It's not burning leaves, but more like the smell of earth after a warm rainstorm. Maybe decomposing leaves? I was also able to pick up the bryl cream in my alcoholic neighbour's hair, as he was picking up his daily 6L of beer for breakfast. Oh, and the science experiment in my fridge as I put the milk away |loony|

A nice quiet day here, finishing up what I can before my trip south. Turkey flavoured lean cuisine will be served as this single girl's holiday feast |jester|

I wish I had a better use for these three-day holidays. Mostly they're just about trying to avoid the wave of tourists driving down from the mainland for mini-vacations. Looks to be an overcast kind of day, probably with rain later, so inside sounds like the place to be anyway. I'm really looking forward to that cold front they say will be coming through late in the week.

Long time no see everyone, I have the day off my job today and I am barely ever on the computer now, so little in fact that when I moved into my GF's house I didn't even pack my computer, I'm back here now waiting for the septic tank guy to come and pump our crap out.

What day did Lief Erikson discover America? Why don't we celebrate that? That would be a tribute to 'Greenland' I believe. A holiday I am sure Greenie could stand behind. :) Happy Erikson day or Happy Lief day just doesn't sound as good I guess.

Well, my mind tells me it is Tuesday, but, the clock says Monday, and my bank appears to think it is Sunday. I guess by Twednesday, things will be back to normal. (UPS Joke for you non-USAians)
