Good early Sickly Tuesday Morning

My cold finally hit last night just before bed. After sneezing all night, I finally got up and here I am. I am really glad we have no radio show tonight because when I talk, my wife tells me to quit whining. But, it's just my voice :) And she says, "Laryngitis, sweet". :)

Anyway, on and off all day :)

Fonz 2007-01-30 04:46 AM

Morning,

Going to check out an apartment similar to the one I want to buy later today. Except this one is already finished :)
Didn't do much yesterday so I got some catching up today. That'll teach me.

Anyway, have a nice day all.

rachelo 2007-01-30 05:05 AM

Good Morning,

The weather is finally coming around, it will be tough to stay indoors and work.

Have a good productive day all.

Have a nice day everyone ;)

Good morning world |waves|

I think that cold of yours is making the rounds, Jim. Felt some of that yesterday and woke up with coughing and my voice messed up this morning.

Lots of errands and running around to do later today. Catching up on some loose ends offline and then back to online work to round out the day.

A great Tuesday to all.

:)

lorsha 2007-01-30 07:09 AM

Another round of 2 basketball games to go later today. So time for some breakfast, and then back to the keyboard. Enjoy your Tuesday everyone! |waves|

Good not-quite-as-chilly morning!

Temperature is a bit higher this morning and tolerable, but rain is in the forecast. Another good day to surf for real estate.First though, since I don't remember if it's starve a cold and feed a fever, or vice versa, I'm feeding my sniffles.
I think biscuits and gravy and sausage and eggs, with a glass of orange juice and a pot of coffee should do the trick. It better. It's cooking already.
Grab a plate, a fork, and your cup and c'mon over. I'll keep it warm.

Have a FantasTiC Day.. or don't, the decision is yours.

Low 20's here again. I finely finished loading everything on my new computer (thanks Ed) so I will be busy with new rss feeds for lotzadollars today. Other than that, I need 8 gallons of coffee (thats 30.28 liters for our non usa living porn peoples) |boobies|

No cold here anymore but it is cold here this morning.

Just a day of work planned. I've kind of took the last few days off and amazingly my vision has returned to normal.

Who's turn is it to make breakfast?

Toby 2007-01-30 09:39 AM

Good Snowy Tuesday Peoples |waves|

I'd say we got 6-8 inches of the white stuff last night. Most of it fell between 8 & 10 while I was in the Pool House cleaning & watching 24. It was really nice to walk out & not see my footprints from waling down :D

More stats today (I should actually be done with the compiling portion today) and the Sabres play Boston at 7 |thumb

Mr Exotic 2007-01-30 10:12 AM

I'm getting hit with a cold too. Yesterday I felt kinda shitty when I woke up and felt better as the day went along only to start feeling crappy again later at night. Today I feel a little worse than yesterday. Seems thats how these colds hit me, getting a little worse until I am sick all day for a few days then it starts going away the same way in came in.

Not much going on other than a good full day of work, yesterday I ended up working more on something than I had planned and fell behind on other things. So today is playing a little catch up.

Hope everyone has a good one.

terry 2007-01-30 11:26 AM

Good Morning, another snot freezing day here today. Stay in and stay warm!

Have a great day!

sue-fl 2007-01-30 11:37 AM

Morning!

A bit chilly here again this morning!

Hope all you with your colds get better soon. I feel the urge to wash my hands |huh

I have never wanted a laptop before but hubby bought me one a couple of weeks ago. I have to say sitting on the loveseat and reclined is a great way to work. |bananna|

Have a great day all!

bluemoney 2007-01-30 11:52 AM

I've used a laptop as my primary machine since '96 or so. Mostly, the problem was that data needed to be in two places, and as it exceeded the size of a floppy, it became too unwieldy. I've never used those docking stations, so, I've truly been using a laptop and the trackstick/trackpad as my primary machine.

One thing to note -- if you do it, get a suitably powered machine and plenty of ram. That will make it more enjoyable to use and you won't be frustrated because it is slow. If you sit in one place a lot, consider that docking station.

There is nothing like the freedom of being able to work in the office, bedroom, living room, outside (there are 3 days a year where this is possible in Florida), etc. I would never trade my laptop for a desktop again.

Busy day ahead -- for the project I'm helping my nephew with, we got the Circuit City Gift Cards with the logo that he designed. For $4.59 more than the gift card, you can put a 600x600 300dpi image on the card and I must say, it looks really nice. That project surely tested my mettle with some theories that I had come up with for another site. The great satisfaction was when he said, "Dude, that build_index function is awesome"

Back to the grind.

I really don't understand why anyone would still use a desktop machine unless they needed the expansion slots of a tower or something like that.

Been using only a laptop for many years now. When I'm away from home everything is always with me and when I'm home I plug my laptop into a big LCD, keyboard, and mouse so it is just like a desktop machine. |thumb

RedCherry 2007-01-30 02:00 PM

Morning all. Well at least to those of us on the west coast. :D Been doing some house cleaning tasks, and now I'm parked to start working on porn. Other than a swing by the grocery store, I've got nothing else planned but that.

Cool and overcast, supposed to rain today, but so far it has just been threatning. We have had such glorious weather the last few days, I don't mind this...motivates me to stay indoors and work.

Have a good one all.

Oh she is a fast machine:D The docking machine is something I may have to look into. This gets a little warm on the legs at times. As long as I don't have to stop reclining though |thumb

Cleo you plug it into a big keyboard?? That is one of the things that kept me from getting a laptop for so long. I don't care for the keyboard on this thing but I'm getting used to it.
