The Bitch & I hooked up that Amazon Unbox to the TiVo last night - it lets you rent movies from Amazon & then downloads them to your TiVo. We tried out The Astronaut Farmer (for a whopping $0.99) and while it took a little bit to download - it pretty much downloads in real time & you have to wait for it to completely download before you can watch it, but the picture quality was awesome. I know this sounds like |spam| but notice there's no links :D

I've got to get LOR updated & take care of a few other things around here & then I'll be taking my own advice |thumb

Woke up to a dark morning that's now turned into rain. Just watching it fall on the canal while I drink my second cup of coffee and try to convince myself to work on tweaking some newsletter copy.

A good Saturday to all who want one.

I want rain, lots of it... the birds come out from the dry forests half dead and get water here, my garden is like a zoo. I love to hear them, listen to them after bathing and drinking all day, getting better and thanking it loud... it is a positive version of the Hitchcock movie, birds everywhere, on the stairs, on the chair I am sitting on and all around. First tired then refreshed a bit. Can't wait for the evening when it is safer to go out and share the garden with them. |waves|

As for the newsletter, this is not true. At least in my case who fights the same monster for 6 years and cannot speak, the only window to the world is my mini mac & monitor. My friends disappeared and I don't have a family. And my thoughts are and were with Jim and his wife for a while now. I am too weak to go out into the heat now... so please, let me do it my way.

Same story, different day...

The |coffee maker is once again operational, no mess on the floor this morning, so as usual help yourself...

Trying to get back to normal, whatever that is, today.

Sandra Bernhardt was excellent last night and I'm really fucking happy that I didn't get pulled over for spending or anything like that since this morning I just realized that my driver license, car registration, and insurance card were all still in my scanner after scanning them all last night in order to mail off copies for the five year renewal of my car's vanity license plate.

Never made it to the gym yesterday so going to do that in a bit and then just another fun filled day of beating on the keyboard.

got a quick condo meeting this morning oh yay :D then it's on and off as usual lately.

Greenie - I agree that time off the pc is invaluable. Although my favorite place in the whole wide world is sitting on my butt in front of this monitor, I've been taking some time away from it lately and that makes me appreciate both my family and my work a little more.

Pulled an allnighter for the 17th night in a row. I'm beat so I'm gonna get stoned and roll a few more hooters and head to the beach for a while. I oughtta be able to get baked while I get baked. 86 degrees with 82% humidity.

Plenty of energy drinks and cookies in the kitchen. If you want coffee, make it yourself.

Was out late last night @ the Palms for dinner with the company I work with in PDX. It was nice...but odd. The casino was packed.. ESPN radio is doing a 24hr marathon show from there for some charity...so there were lotza really tall and big men around with bulging muscles. I'm sure they were "somebody" just not in the world I travel in. |huh

After fed-ex arrives today--the RugDawg and I will be off to see the Simpsons.
