650 Erotic Stories - Great Content For Adult Blogs
I have an incredible collection of 650 adult ebooks that span pretty much every niche you can imagine. These erotic stories make great content for adult blogs or as an added resource for the members-only section of your site.
All stories come in either txt file or pdf. Many have jpg book covers that can be used on your site. Some even have complete xxx photo sets to go along with the story. With this many adult stories, you can add a new story every day and go almost two years before you need any others. Price for the entire collection is $7.95 - That's barely a penny per story!! |
Foxxy, just a couple questions if you dont mind
1. Is there a sample story to see? 2. Do you have copyright to the images being used, both the "cover" and any photos that illustrate the story? 3. What is the length or the average length of the stories? Thanks J- NY Jester |
PM sent Jester, thanks.

Pretty straightforward questions, I'd like the answers as well, and I'm sure any potential buyers would.

Here is a random story that was selected at random as a sample. It is so random, in fact, that I have not even read it myself.
http://www.foxxytheater.com/booksample/ As for the art, most of the covers clearly go with the matching story, as they are made up to look like book covers. There are photo sets with some of them. At the time I purchased this collection, it was expressed to me that copyright is included with the rights to all stories. As far as the average length, I can only assume that the one in the sample is an average representation. I opened a lot of them and scrolled through them, but not too much more than that. I had purchased them to use on one of my own sites, but since it seems I'll never get around to that and since resale rights were included, I thought just passing them on would be a better use. |
Replied Foxxy thank you

Glad to see that I'm not the only one staying up until insane hours.

I usually work until 11 or 12 and then set up my "todo" for tomorrow and read the boards utol 3 or 4 and then back up @ 8

No worries Angel. I just sent a reply to your PM. I tried to answer the question about your other project as well, but I'm not sure I am the best person to enlighten you on that subject.

How does the copyright work? It seems that the sample story is written by Dana Swanson and published by Chelsea Library Press.
http://neatopotato.net/xnovel/clp174...-into-swapping Google seems to think that every other site using this story is infringing on copyrights. |
http://neatopotato.net/xnovel/about/
"Novels and covers are sourced from USENET groups such as alt.sex.stories and alt.sex.stories.moderated, websites such as those listed in Links and donated by visitors to xNovel." So, I'm not sure if stories found on Usenet are copyright free. Does anyone know if they are? My initial response is to be wary with this. |
How the copyright works is very simple. You have permission to use the story on your own site - that's it. I have purchased resale rights to the stories myself, but I am not authorized to pass on those rights, only their use. If you need some form of copyright permission for broader distribution, I would have to put you in touch with the dealer, but can assure you it will cost you more than $8.
As for what google thinks, it is impossible for me to address that. For one thing, I do not see anything to suggest how they view the story. For another thing, I am simply saying that it can be used as content, not as any form of search engine optimized content, so in that scope, what google thinks is of no concern to me. If it is to you, then my recommendation would be to pay for original stories that were written specifically for you. I trust that these will cost you a great deal more than a penny each. Grandma, your observation about neatopotatoe may be correct. I have never heard of that site, and haven't been to usenet since about 1995. I would imagine they get most of their stories from people sending them in. But again, that has nothing to do with me and isn't my concern. |
I'm moving this from PMs to save time. Yes, I would need much broader rights than you seem to be able to grant, since you're not the copyright owner nor authorized to grant those rights on their behalf.
Please do put me in direct contact me with the dealer from who you purchased your 'rights' so I can verify what permissions they actually have the right to grant and can see whether or not these stories would be usable at all. Thanks much, Simon . |
I'm not saying that this situation is the same thing, but each time I read this thread, I think about all of those deals on eBay where can purchase 18 thousand-million-quatrillian ebooks for $5. They all toss around 'resell rights' and none of them remember who stole all of the ebooks in the first place.
|
I don't need to resell them. I just want to make sure that I can actually use them legally.
|
Yeah, that. Also, are the pics 2257 compliant? do you have the model releases forms with them as well? It's something I get with every content package that I buy. The price would be good even for a few sets of pics, which you say come with the stories, but the sets need to come with 2257 papers + model release forms.
|
I know we're asking a lot of questions for $8 but I'd ask the same if they were free or $800

I do not have a problem with answering questions. I just tend to drop a thread when it starts getting bogged down with too much speculation and conjecture. At that point it becomes more hassle than it is worth because the time vs reward equation is thrown out of whack. Aside from that, I believe I have answered all questions except for the one about 2257.
Following my last post, Simon asked if he could be put in contact with the dealer. I continued to address that by way of private message. Then useless came in and made a post in which there is nothing for me to address. He is talking about something I am unfamiliar with and that has absolutely nothing to do with me, so there's nothing to be said. Then you say you're not looking for resale rights, but at the same time, there was nothing there addressed that I can really provide an answer to. Tigermom...As for your question, there is a text file that says 2257. The contents of that file is simply a physical mailing address for some custodian of records. However, I have no way of knowing which photos this file relates to, or if it even really relates to these sets at all. If it were me, I would probably opt to assume that there is no 2257 since it cant be linked to anything. If you're in the land of tyranny and afraid of men in suits knocking on your door, then you'll probably want to skip it. You sound like someone who is concerned over legal issues, so I would recommend to play it safe. If you always play it safe, you rarely have to worry about anything larger than a scraped knee. |

Dracula by Bram Stoker wasn't the first vampire movie because of copyright issues, when the copyright expired Hollywood could go nuts at no cost. I read that on wiki somewhere, so it must be true ;) |
Foxxy, It is my thinking that you are being evasive.... even in the PM you sent me.
As with many things this deal looks too good to believe and it most likely is IMO. I would like to see a copy of the written licence you would issue to me if I purchased these stories! I am sure you must have that at hand somewhere.. as you must have the same licence. DD |
Tigermom - That's too bad. You should really worry a lot less. If something is causing you that much stress, you should consider stepping away from it for a while.
"Useless" - Yeah, I see two links to someone's ebay auction there. What is it I am suppose to be familiar with now? Danger - You crack me up. You sent me a PM last Tuesday and said you want more free samples. I said it would be easier for me to send you something by email and gave you my address. You never wrote to me, nor did you reply by PM to give me an address. How is that being evasive? I've answered pretty much every question asked. If you dont like the answer then that's not my problem. No one is twisting your arm here. I'll not be sending you anything. How's that for evasive? ;) |
