Will you be using real people from Turkey?

Licker4U 2008-02-13 10:04 AM

The only time I eat gooey white bread is for a turkey sandwich. Mayonnaise on both pieces of bread, turkey, salt and pepper. That's it for me. Yummmy!

lorsha 2008-02-13 10:06 AM

Also be sure to add a couple of slices of crispy bacon to it hun! |bananna|

Jim 2008-02-13 10:14 AM

You have got to use toast. And, Mayonnaise only on one side with salt and pepper and a slice of cheese.

And first thing is you have to bake a turkey for a big turkey dinner. That's because the very best turkey sandwiches are made from leftovers.

:)

(And for those who want something to use in your blog posts, let's not forget that February 21st will be National Sticky Buns Day.)

The best part of using an undead bird is the stuffing comes right from their ass.

well you are right about that one, only the dutchies do it an other way, the dutchies have a special way to stuff a undead bird in their own way...at second hand , i will almost believe the dutchies like the animals alive better then dead|shocking|:D

This is actually one of my favorite sandwiches.
Grilled Vegetarian
Grilled Portobello mushrooms, grilled red & yellow peppers with melted Fontina and Mozzarella cheeses, baby field greens, sliced Roma tomatoes and homemade sun-dried tomato aioli. Served with your choice of herb-onion focaccia or garlic cheese focaccia and your choice of soup, classic Caesar salad or Szechuan slaw.

At home I do a lot of wraps using grilled vegetables, soy burger, cheese, and salsa, wrapped up in a flour tortilla.

that sounds realy good Cleo, i just checked the boca burger site, nice stuff there.thanks:) ofcourse we dont have boca stuff in holland but we have stuff the same like that from other companies.

stuveltje 2008-02-13 02:13 PM

even i like meat alot, i also like , tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, pickles, onions, mushrooms, pepper thing ( we name it paprika) and lots of other veggies, the strange here in holland is, our food is pretty boring, we just eat every day patatoes with a piece of meat and veggies, thats realy boring, so i try to switch, with mexican food, italian, etc etc,now i am trying to get together some sandwhiches thinsg, cold stuff or warm, i dont care, because we realy deal only with the veggie sandwich which i have mention in my first post

That is the classic and when you have good turkey it's hard to beat. Although I now use whole grain bread as the wife won't allow Wonder in the house.

If you want something to spice it up then in the following order

Mayo, salt and pepper, turkey, bacon, avocado or tomato, cheese (your choice but Swiss or muenster are nice). Stick it in the broiler.

If you use both tomato and avocado then they slide around too much.
