Handling of affiliate payments of programs bought by Dee Empire
Hi,
Not a huge thing, but I am interested in your opinion. I tried promoting MeatCash with few success (very few sales, 1 rebill only) in January 2008. I haven't stopped submitting galleries for them as I like the content and believed my stats will turn better. Meanwhile Dee bought the program, and I made other sales/some rebills as well, so my total is like ~$180 atm. I asked the new rep to set my payment type to Epassporte and inquired about the payment schedule. I got proper response and waited. Some days ago I asked them again why I still haven't received any payments and i was told they only count earnings since 1st of June 2008 when they took over the program, and the cause of I haven't received nothing is that I earned only ~$50 since 1st of June. Should I look for the old owners and beg for my money? :) And thinking not just about myself: Meatcash and the other programs probably had hundreds (or thousands?) of webmasters who were not so active. All these webmasters lost their earnings? |
OUCH! I wonder if this is the same for all programs Dee took over. I had old balances in several different programs he's bought, I was thinking about trying them again to get to the min. but now I guess I'll just write them off. :(

Is this for real? Did they really say they would not pay? |
I know nothing of Dee or his empire, but I do notice that STFU cash has @deecash for their support email addy's. I started promoted them, do they fall into this mess?
|
What a load of shit. Talk about shady.
|
Hell, I still remember when a certain processor almost shut down years ago, and a lot of sponsors left. Me(and I suppose a shitload of affiliates)) never saw the $$$s that were under the minimum balances for those sponsors.

We have never not paid an affiliate, on any program, old, original or bought. You will not be able to find affiliates that say things as such.
As far as I understand from mitza ( mitza@deedevelopments.com ) - who handles the payouts at Meatcash now, the payouts should be coming on 5th and 20th in correlation to the same original payout schedule.. This I will personally double check on this. As for changing to EPASS through us, this system was in place from the old owners, as part of fraud control. As for you FatalAttraction, or others that have minimum balances, like all other programs do, if you'd like to write us off for whatever reason, we'll close your account out and pay out the balance. Simple, we've done it before and we'd do it again. Our business is based on keeping the overall affiliate base happy. As for STFUcash, not sure what the mess would be? We instituted 50 PPS on all joins, upgraded the members area and do weekly payouts there. Seems like quite an improvement. Also, matyko, I have yet to receive any emails from you, if you are having an issue with a rep, payouts or others in regards to your account, contact me directly. If you have tried contacting me to no avail, I apologize in advance, things happen. I must re-iterate however, there is no instance of affiliates not getting paid. Since I'm that guy that makes decisions, any issue you have I can rectify and promptly. However, GG&J is not where I read many posts and unfortunately I'm rarely on the boards, so I suggest : terrence@elitedollars.com ICQ : 294518867 ICQ : 199034495 - Terrence |

we've always given this option, and will continue to do so, most programs charge a fee for transfers which we kept on some programs, if they charge a fee they should be more than happy to send a payment. i understand why NATS programs dont, if you don't make minimum it won't dump, but that just means we go in, do some extra accounting and make it work for the affiliates. we aim to keep you happy, you may not want to promote today, but we never want you to forget us tomorrow |thumb |
Hi Terrence,
I haven't mailed you. I was mailing Mitza and never wanted to mail you crying for a hundred bucks. Mitza just mailed me and I think we can manage this. I tell you as well, my aim with this thread is not to make Dee Empire a bad look but to find webmasters in the same shoe and discuss this case. Dee is not the only program buying other programs and it seems to me there are some mistakes in these owner changes: new owners should make the old owners pay ALL outstanding balances (if they play fair they should do this automatically by themselves) before the takeover. Otherwise the new owner is buying the outstanding balances as well. The sad point for me was that I got a response in which your rep suggested to look for the old owners to pay the old balance. I know you're not bad guys - even if i don't agree with some of your business solutions, but you should take much higher attention to this when buying a program. Now I am just repeating myself, sorry... :) Peace |
While your'e here. Lets talk about the change to a 1 hour cookie. Is that true. It was a 10 day cookie and now a 24 hour cookie?
Seems to be an issue you guys have been sidestepping..... Some members here are losing MUCHO DINERO. |waves| |

This looks like a good thread to mention TrippleXCash
I joined the program sometime in 2004 threw a few galleries to rotate on a fake TGP and never made any sales. I found out TrippleXCash had RSS Feeds around the first of the year, logged in and added their feeds to Blogs Automator and once again forgot about the program until Dees Cash bought them out. I've emailed support twice to get my email address changed so that I could change all my info, no reply. I made a few sales the check was sent to my old address so I never received it. The Email address I used to join the program originally is no good so I don't get the verification when I try to change my info TrippleXCash is no longer adding new feed posts, but they are still getting about 20 uniques a day from me (from old feed posts that google has picked up) these show in the old TrippleXCash Stats but not in the new TrippleXCash stats |
Is this a problem where the old debts of the bought out company are theirs & the new owners only assume the new debts?

we wouldn't bother with 24 hour cookies considering we were the first to offer 2 year cookies with Deecash and a myriad of solutions to keep rebills and get affiliates more joins. if you have a specific issue you think I'm not addressing, but it seems like you're hearing chatter and portraying it as fact. |

as for RSS, we're moving new ones into the NATS backend, the RS backend is simply obsolete and managing promos, new program options, pricepoints there is a pain. again, if you need something addressed, contact me. |

Well I understand the frusteration while reading your post. 1st thing, Mitza is not perfect, we all make mistakes. While I feel that she could have handled it better, she is was simply misinformed. You say she has worked out a solution, if this is not the case, contact me, I'll pay it out myself. We try to take care of every angle in an acquisition, some things take time and sometimes we make mistakes, however, when contacted directly ( and if nescessary, an issue is escalated ) we always take our time and make it the utmost priority to solve an issue. Like I've said here, I'm always available via email to take care of urgent issues. Also, don't hesitate to email me about a couple hundred dollars ever, it all adds up and we treat all issues the same whether its $1 or $10000000. Terrence |
