Good day so far and I've been awake only a couple of hours.
My wife and our friend are going to be out of town for the weekend, so I hope to get a few things done, if I don't start watching TV and trying to catch up to some of the shows on the DVR.

Are the holidays over yet?

We gave up trying to put a tree up this year. Every time we went over to pick up a tree something came up and we had to put it off or it was pouring rain or the tree places were closed and now it is so close to Christmas that it seems pointless but we did put up some lame decorations last night in the front yard.

The boat parade is tonight so I guess we are going up the street to watch boats covered in silly lights.

I'm in Redneck hell for the next 2 days.. (Redneck is a state of mind, not a geographic location) .. and just setting up I can tell I need to duck tape my mouth.

When we got there yesterday all of the 6 TV stations had their vans in the parking lot. I thought it was because they wanted to cover the gun show.. turns out the governor's office got an envelope containing a mysterious white powder and they shut the building down. Tiffy-the-Milf was hamming it up for the camera crew. I think she's gonna be a good cam hoe.

Anyway try to have a gun-free day with lotza $$ in your mail box in case i need bail money for going postal at Cashman.

Morning all. Looking at weather bug this morning, and looks like Canada is sending us their weather. They are talking highs in the 30s and snow showers possible starting tomorrow down to the 3000 foot level.

Given we live at about 2700 feet, it will be interesting to see if we actually get snow. People would freak here if we got anything over a dusting, they can't drive in rain, let alone snow.

Stayed up until almost 1am playing Oblivion last night. Going to try and get some work done this morning, before it sucks me in again, lol.

We drove through town looking at Xmas lights last night and there were hardly any compared to last year. Then I watched a really bad zombie movie to put me in the holiday mood.

Hello everyone.
I'm in odds n sods mode today so I'll be doing a little of everything as time allows.

Beyond that I have nothing really planned until OTB.

I'm in head cold hell and it started yesterday. I blame you.
Please tell me it wasn't "Fido." I watched about half an hour of that last night before wishing that television didn't exist.

I'm told that my chainsaw and myself are needed in my parent's backyard, so I'll be heading there today to stand in the snow and cut through ice-covered wood. Excellent!

That woman who claims to be my wife called yesterday to let me know that when she comes "home" for Christmas, she won't be returning to Florida as originally scheduled. There goes my dream of finding a busty 19 year-old replacement. On a brighter note, in her absence I've been able to train the dog to stay the fuck off our bed. He's unhappy, but I'm not waking up with a 60 pound mass keeping me from rolling over.

We are still alive, no real bad weather yet. Last night the local weatherman said "If we get snow Sunday, and we WILL get snow Sunday, it will be around until next weekend" which is scary since we have been here, the longest we have had snow is is a few hours at max.

I got nothing else.

Slept in today and I feel pretty good so hopefully no nap today. Work, OTB, work and a movie tonight. Must be Saturday.

Morning. Had a fun little fiesta last night. Felt sorry for one of my lady's co-workers that thought he was a soldier of fortune and took 5 too many shots. He passed out on the couch only to wake up and throw up all over the living room. The hosts handled it so well. (Considering they just had redone that room completely.)

They also had completely redone their backyard which was awesome. Kinda like they opened a catalog saw the picture and just yes this is what we want. They also had really good food.

Now that I'm back home I'm going to take a hot shower and take a nap before getting ready to go to another holiday party. ;)

afternoon all. finall moving after having a crazy stomach bug all week. I think I have counted every dust particle between the couch and bathroom this week. Im playing total catch up today..Im behind ..ad need to finsih up some projects that were due earlier this week. GRRRR.
