Work on the agenda for me today - I added a new category this morning (possibly in honor of our new 1st Lady) and I think I'll add another one later today or tomorrow morning.

Went to the hockey game last night. Good game as my Senators beat Ovechkin and Washington (sorry Moby, hehe).

Gotta take the caddy into the dealership later this AM to get the battery replaced. It's covered under the warranty, so I'm only out the time and hassle. At least I'll get a free car wash out of the deal too.

I think is time to look for new host because this happend to much times for couple last weeks.
But the day just started and maybe the evening will be better.

I seem to have survived surgery and now get to spend a week with tubes in me so going to not be doing much except being home working and enjoying pain meds although I'm not really in any pain.

Time to make the espresso...

Just got back from a day of breaking stuff and transporting it to big grinders.

I've spent a week with tubes in me as well, wasn't exactly fun. :(

I've got a thingy in my eye (not cum) so I'm going to see the eye Dr today. I have no idea what it could be so it's got me slightly worried. Of course I've been watching the House marathon's recently so I'm imagining worms in my eye or a blood clot or something horrible that will end up in me spewing blood all over the exam room. |loony|

To top it off I still have a sick kid so I'm going to heavily medicate him and take him to my Dr's appt. Fun...

This morning has felt very long, like time is running slow for some reason, or like I'm feeling like I'm getting more done today. And it feels like the first day of a new year somehow, even though I know we're already 21 days into this one.

Wishing almost everyone a happy humpity hump of a day today... the rest of you know what to do.

Good morning. While yesterday morning I cranked the afternoon was pretty bad. However, I ended up coding last night and made some good progress on a project. Later today I hope to have the backend part of things done and I can then focus on making the template for the front. Then of course the data entry part of things begin.

I don't know about anyone else but I like a President that says we all need to do this together. No matter how small we can all do our part really makes sense so lets get busy people!

Yesterday was hubby's birthday so we celebrated twice yesterday. We have a tradition that every year on each others birthday we get to choose something we want done in bed. Maybe this is why we have been married for 31 years...even last night rocked |thumb

I'm tired today. I just spent a couple of hours troubleshooting my parents' internet connection only to find that (fucking) Verizon DSL isn't turning it on until 6 pm. I now hate Verizon and I'm not very fond of my parents.

We just watched a press conference where President Obama (I just love writing that) and Vice President Biden (That's fun to write too) where President Obama spoke and signed new lobbyist rules which made me smile.

After signing the new rules into law, President Obama asked someone off camera "What's next? Oh the Vice President will swear them in?" which was news to Vice President Biden who gave a look of complete shock (This look should be making the late night TV shows, it was that good) and asked that person "Who am I swearing in? (The senior White house staff) I have the memory of the Chief Justice" which made everyone burst out laughing.

I have a feeling this will be a fun 8 years.

Not much here, it’s still incredibly windy for like the 10th day in a row, the low wind has been 30 MPH with gust as high as 75 MPH 24 hours a day for over 10 days in a row which is just killing my nerves due to the constant noise and gust of winds make me think “tornado” every few minutes.

We went out for errands and it looks like a category 1 hurricane hit the area. There are trees, signs, fence, lights, roofs etc etc etc, all over the place, even the weathermen are saying they have never seen constant winds of this force last this long, but supposedly this will be the last day of it, but we have been hearing that since last Wednesday.

Turns out it is a pinguecula, basically a callous that has developed on my eyes from staring at a computer monitor too long without blinking. |pokefun| me

So the cure is blinking?
