The Rules

Just so everyone is clear, we have posted a page where the Forum Rules are posted. This is the same thing you agreed to when you originally signed up.

I don't remember agreeing to anything. Especially not to the agreement rules being listed so every one can agree on the fact that I don't agree :D |escape|

Probably a good way to quick and easy point spammers and what not in the right direction for violating the rules... so maybe "we are in agree-ance" as Fred Furst said at some reward show :D

It doesn't load for me either. It stops just before where the button should be on my browser.

Greenguy 2003-09-10 09:49 AM

We'll edit the "button" part - the only place this board has rules is when you sign up, so we had to make a copy of that page so that we could post it for everyone to read :)

Also, read between the lines about the sig files - there's alot of new ones around here that are just annoying the piss out of me - I even edited mine so that it's a little less annoying :D

You don't want me to edit yours - trust me on this - my hand coding skills have gone to hell since I've been using Namo :)

Tommy 2003-09-10 09:56 AM

how do u add something to your sig files

Greenguy 2003-09-10 10:04 AM

Click the "User CP" (Control Panel) link on the top of the bord - there's all kinds of stuff you can do in there :)

I think Tommy needs an Avatar, maybe a pic of him so that we know what he looks like. :D

RawAlex 2003-09-10 10:38 AM

Is there any way to block out sig files before someone has, say, 10 posts or something? Perhaps limit the size and scope of the sig files?

Just a thought...

Alex

This part seems to read wrong to me:

I never get emails from GG&Jim.

Frank 2003-09-10 11:56 AM

I'm innocent, I didn't agree to anything, and it was the other guy that done it.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Frank 2003-09-10 12:03 PM

What can people NOT like about all these great newsletters we get from Jim & GreenGuy?|knockout| Gotta love it!|greenguy|

As far as a Tommy pic? Yea....
I agree with Cleo, I think everyone needs to see Tommy.|skull| LMAO

Gotta love this biz!
So many great folks.

digifan 2003-09-10 12:13 PM

The rules are way cool Jim

and so is the board... the community is great and helpful and protects its members from the haters. I mean from those who seem to exist for the single-minded purpose of telling everyone that what they are doing is wrong, and that they should act, react and think their way and their way only.

Thanks for this board GG & Jim!

You will not use a banner in your signature file larger than 120x60 pixels or 75 characters.
How can a "banner" be 75 characters? What's the definition of a "banner"?

Is my new sig breaking the rules? I change my sig all the time anyway. I can change this one now if you want me to. :)

Sumrpal,

can I be wrong but since you don't have any button in your sig, that should be fine imo.

|waves|

Cleo 2003-09-10 02:00 PM

Sumrpal I would say that you sig looks fine.

And in keeping with the spirit of things I've even made my sig smaller and a bit less obnoxious. ;)

JanTM 2003-09-10 02:35 PM

Cleo,
Awh and I liked your sig the way it was. Best designed sig I've ever seen. |bananna|
In my own oppinion a sig is not obnoxious before its size is comparable to a standard banner or bigger. Thos small button thingys that blink and flash... I hardly notice them anyways :)

Cleo 2003-09-10 02:43 PM

Edit, moving my post to the correct thread. |banghead|

Dr Bizzaro 2003-09-10 03:44 PM

Rules?

How about:

1) Use your fucking head, dumbass.
2) See Rule 1

That about covers it.

LOL :D

Incredible as it may seem these rules may actually be too complicated for some webmasters |sad|

urb 2003-09-11 06:24 AM

Ever do this on a computer at school?

10 print "read the fucking rules"
20 goto 10

How do I sign up for the newsletter?? :)
