just wanted everyone to know about this cause you can be a victim for a laisy dump ass thiefes !
i Noticed one thread about sites getting ripped off

my personal suggestion to you all look at any domain you will get a huge list at bottom of links check each one of them cause your site can be one of them

as these guys redirecting people from their page unless its googlebot you will have to pretend you are googlebot

While his traffic is now pointing at my domains (mine being any domain belonging to me, Brian), they are not owned by the same person. Seeing as he took down the pages that were copied, he had nothing else to point at and sent the traffic to me.

While I certainly can't stop you from complaining to whoever you wish to complain to, it will be of no consequence to me. Nothing on there is stolen and my dns info is accurate.

All of a sudden the cloaked pages disappeared - probably means that he lurks here.
Another lurker makes a first post here and says that "the cloaker" redirects to his sites now.

So you have your Apache set up to answer on all those domains by coincidence? Cause it doesn't seem to be the "catch-all" virtual host http://209.132.239.37/ since it returns an empty page.

So many coincidences.


I don't know how Linkster found the second IP (209.132.239.37), so I'm not sure how all those domains are involved in the whole thing.

The domains on 209.132.239.37 do not belong to him, never had the copyrighted content on them, and really have nothing to do with this at all, except that after he took down the copyrighted content he sent his traffic to this sites.

And why would he do that? What is his motivation to send traffic to you?

I know him of course. He asked if I wanted him to, I said sure why not. Like I said, you guys can complain to whoever you wish, I only wanted to post here to help clear up any confusion in regards to my domains.

Beyond that, you can of course do as you wish.

If a bank skimming scheme went bad and a friend asked if he could divert the funds into your account, would you let him? Especially knowing that you'd be found out?

You are admitting that you are, at the very least, a friend of someone who has stolen traffic from quite few people. You are now receiving that stolen traffic. I think quite a few people will have just reason to call you a thief as well.

Fortunately for me, the reality is I've done nothing wrong, so I need not care what you or the many other people you refer to care.

wolfencom - for right now I have to take what you say as truth and have only begun the tracing of this guy - although there are some other names coming out that Im going to post as they have been involved with some stuff before - damn that webhosting company over at amerinet-electronics still has all its caches available - and there's some real interesting history of domain owners in the whois server.

I removed all the sites, and the content has been taken down and removed permanently! Infact the entire web server has been shut down. I plan on letting the domains just expire and will not continue on this path again. Please accept my aplogies.

thanks Bill - I will say that Im pretty sure I know some of the other people involved in a little group of people that may know this person and Im pretty sure that they will take care that this doesnt happen again - one of those cases where someone goes a little off the "normal path" thinking of a quick scheme :)

My first contact with adult internet was in about 94/95, when an Australian bank employed me as private investigator to find out who had "stolen" their domain name and used it for porn..

Some "kid" in Brisbane had bought the .com version of their .com.au domain and put a picture of a Rat with a hard-on on the front of the site... apparently just to annoy them... and when they asked to buy it... he said "Sure 20k.. " may have been 40k even.. anyway the bank couldnt work out who this was so employed me to track him down.

Long story short... it was Scott Phillips from pinkbits.. the bank (and me) expected we could scare the shit out of him with some legal muscle.. after all it was just some punk assed kid!!

hehehe.. Scotty sure gave me an intersting demonstration on how to handle big tough lawyer toting types.. Wasn't told of final result but I beleive they paid him for the domain.... paid more than 10k in legals.. and 2 or 3 thousand on me....


Oh yeah... the point was.. if you enjoy it and are good at it Linkster, there is many people who feel helpless when anything like this happens... and not just webmasters.. and they are all happy to pay...

i think its a good idea we need some service that will help bring us these cheaters down :) my personal suggestion and i am not a violent man i am more like a |rasta| is to castrate them all with rusty scissors

so anybody on this forum that runs some sites as well can check if their sites have been violated and can report them easily.

Just wish Google would get off their ass and bar this cloaked redirect BS. They been told about it for 2+ years.Have the bot check for that included JS with the redirect and then toss it.

Seems like everytime I try to do a search for a KW, the first 5 pages are all the same spam.

true its weird with so many filters google is installing constantly couldnt they took care of spammers. each time they do a major update so many spammers coming up at top results so many people just copying google or yahoo search results and make a page out of it and than simply redirecting traffic couldnt google just other bot than googlebot and cache these spammers |violin|

i did noticed google starting to clean his SERP's and good sites are slowly moving back to top pages again but it will take about 2-3 weeks more until it will finish so be calm before you decide to re optimize your sites ;)
