Major Announcement Regarding Traffic Resources On Greenguy & Jim (READ THIS)
 

Traffic Resources Are Going To Be Updated!

Our current Traffic Resources Area sucks. We know this, We get complaints almost daily that this site is down or this site is not longer accepting submissions. That's going to change effective next week.

We are going to shitcan ALL the current traffic resources & start from scratch. The new listings will be for board members only & you will have to send us the info for all your traffic sites again. This may be a shit thing for some of you, but 95% of the listings that we currently have are not linking back to us anyway, so this makes sense.

We will also be listing a link to your profile in with the info for the site. This way, if you need to contact the owner of the site, you can do so on the board. You can also sort the sites by who owns them, so if you like a Link List that JoeBlow maintains, you can easily see what other traffic sources JoeBlow runs.

In order to get listed on the new Traffic Resource pages, all you need to do is send MrMaryLou a Private Message with the name of your site & the URL. That's it! He will take care of the rest. If you have more than 1 traffic source, please send them all in the same message.

Also, so that we can hopefully avoind problems during the submission process, you will only get a reply to your PM if there is a problem. So don't get your panties in a knot if MrMaryLou does not reply to your request.

I have come to the board a few times to track down webmasters that don't have working contacts on their pages.

Even had a bounced email today from a site that went partner only.|pcsucks|

MrMaryLou has got a few in already - like I stated in the 1st post, we'll be putting the new & improved pages online next week. I don't care of there's only 4 listings in some categories - I'd rather have quality working sites listed as opposed to the cluster fuck that we currently have.

So come on! I know there's more of you out there that have Link Lists & TGP's & whatnot - send MrMaryLou your info!

Just slap one up on your webmaster page & not a page that is normally seen by surfers (you would not believe how many resource requests we see that have our button on the index page - LOL)

LOL - same here! I signed up for a trade yesterday (at least so I thought - the form was there to fill in...), and parallel filled in my own tradescript with their data and then activated my end of the trade, hit >submit< on their form and it goes 404...

O.k. - there was an email address on the page, so I send an email with my trade details... - 10 minutes later I get FAILURE NOTICE!

So I'm slowly loosing patience, I take the "failure notice" with my attached email and forward it to the email shown in the domain registration - another "failure notice": account doesn't exist!

Can you submit a small link list site that accepts free site submitters? i just opened a free site section on one of my sites and don't get much traffic yet. Does that matter?

I think we'll launch the new pages tomorrow sometime. We will of course keep taking traffic resources after that, but just think how nice it'll be if you're listed on there when we release the new pages :D

What niche category would we put it on?

I would guess general, although I feel there really should be a "webmasters" category. I link to submit pages which is in reality a webmaster area.

Maybe I'm not getting my point across, so I'll simply say that no, your page would not be something that we would list in our traffic Resources area.

We are only looking to list Link Lists, TGP's, Pic Posts & Top Lists that our members manage & run & not other peoples lists of the same.
