I can not believe this BULL SHIT - Ok I got moved to rev -share and got mad and pulled the links and greg closed my account and said "any monies owed would be paid" So I waited and waited and no check, So then a time later I Was gonna delete there link and just for the hell of it I tryed to login and it worked some And it was really closed because I tryed before and got a message so then I ICQ greg and he says "I must have forgot to close it" So I say just leave it open because they owe me 55.00 So then days later I ICQ him to ask what happened To my 55.00 check and while on ICQ HE says "I agree there is a sale missing" He says email your info and we will get it straightened out" So No reply and I just ICQ him and he said "We closed your account for fraud"

Here Is the ICQ from just a while ago And anyone that runs a porn program should know LL run link bot checkers read it and I even gave him some server stats..

Funny thing is that they once sent me a final check and was canceled my account too. But after talking to them they reopened my account.

When I signed up With SIC CASH I put my LL down as the main url and wouldnt you think that most sponsors know that most LL check there links for redirects and dead links with a link bot, and when I ran it and spent hours checking the possible bad links and when I was done I'd check stats and out of about 50 sponsors only a few showed hits to all sites listed - so if a sponsor had 100 sites it would show 100 hits and sometimes I would run it a day or two later and more hits would show so thats how it happens and greg dont have a clue..

I wasn't going to comment but, I just saw the stats. If I were running the program, I would have done the same thing. Plateman, the best advice I can give you is move on to another sponsor. The problem was not xenu.

So no problem using Xenu link sleuth hitting sponsor links if a person forgets to set it to ignore them? Good. I've used that before to help people weed out dead and redirecting free sites from their pages and I'd hate to think I was putting them in jeopardy!

I hope you get everything worked out. SIC Cash is one of the most reliable sponsors I've used. I don't send a lot of traffic...just free sites & some AVS, but I get weekly checks like clockwork.

Was he using a pay per click program with SIC? If not I can't see how hitbot traffic would signup with a credit card....

SIC is an ok program however I know a few people who have had horrible times working with them and a few who had no problems, they weren't a good converting sponsor for me so I moved on I would suggest the same to anyone who uses a sponsor that doesn't convert for them!

greg dont understand what kind of traffic a semi mature LL that has highly targered se traffic and loyal bookmarkers can do, over the summer ask ramster I told him in the summer I cant believe the ratios I am seeing, I think I had a least 20 or 25 sales from 2500 to 3000 uniques from yahoo just ask him I was bragging over it and when yahoo danced a month later it stopped cold..

OC cash on my LL jan 6th of this month had the first 2 uniques sign up for sites and it was two different sites so you cant say it was a double billing does XXX jay call me a fraud.. No because he knows..

The first few days of the month I ckecked my search string stats and had 4 uniques type in "hentai sites 4.95 trial" and 3 of those people joined sites and does those sponsors call me a fraud and next month more than likely there wont be any sales..

Outback cash I built 10 - 15 free sites and really did a nice job for building se friendly sites and It converts really low and retains and I get money every month and havent built anything for months and months for them does murry call me a fraud because this month no sales yet..

a sponsor I tryed converts with tgp and LL traffic with no se traffic I sent 2255 total hits and 10 total full sales no trials at 1/282 unreal do they call me a fraud..


You see SIC thinks I am assuming that I had 4 sales in 1 month with a low # of uniques and none the next with more uniques and then seees my link bot and thinks I am cheating but really they are cheating me..

adult lounge talked to me about stats about a missing sale and ratios came up and he couldn't believe some of my ratios and he checked there procressor and came back and said I would make more with rev - share and he sent me a nice t-shirt and DVD for the stats problem that they had a problem with that was fixed and didnt want to loose my traffic now this month no sales with them and do they call me a fraud - FUCK NO SIC CASH IS THE FRAUD AND THE WAY THEY DO THERE SHIT

While I am pretty sure of what is on here, and I know it has little to do with link check bots, let me just say this:

if you link check bot is checking sponsor links, STOP! This is especially true if you run it daily.

First off, some sponsor links will redirect or otherwise manhandle requests that don't have good browser info. Man sponsors also use a variation on 302 redirects on affiliate codes for various reasons. As a result, you might see a bad link that isn't a bad link, or vis-versa: A bad think that shows good.

Check your sponsor sites once a month by hand. Just go to your own list and click the links one at a time.

I think I know what happened I have a link trade with a link site called secret corner and I am on there main page and it is noted that they send there free sites hit bot traffic so maybe that created those side by side stats but not all and when I run mine.. that set off his alarm and the fact that hardly anyone stayed past a month..

But the truth is that when SIC cash put me on rev- share on dec. 6 of 2004 I had a rebill in late december and if I frauded sign ups why would I rebill it.. and also when I was first told I was going rev-share or be dropped I talked to greg over ICQ and I bitched and moaned why my traffic was not retaining and asked him to have a pass inside the site that had the most sales from me and I spent a good 2 hours in it and half the stuff didnt work or the quality was so bad I couldnt believe it.. but the main stuff was ok So the next day I tell him this and he says some bs about this and that.. And gets mad and closes my account so I pull all text links and leave a few banners and even told greenguy sic cash closed my account and I am pulling links and told ramster..

So after dec. 6 of 2004 I had no links on my site but a few banners and my script shows a review date when I pulled the links of dec 3 of 2004 because I pulled them before the 6th and this proof is all in my LL script and on IQC history..

So how can he judge traffic after dec. 6 2004 when I had no links and where the hits came from I have no idea and will let mrmarylou into my admin to see when I pulled all the links if need be..

and another fishy thing after he closed my account I could not log into it after he closed it..and a month later I can and then I am fraud in jan. 2005 and had no links on my site and a rebill in dec 04

This sounds mighty fishy to me and I think its his way of not paying monies owed.. and when I asked him why I could get into my account now - he says I must have forgot to close it..but it was closed and monies owed were coming.. going by what he said..

So greg the ball is in your court (as you say) you owed me for two sales before december 6 of 04 and I want my 55.00 you are trying to cheat me and I have caught you and when the proper people read this and I let mrmarylou into my admin and he sees your links were gone dec. 3 of 04 where did those hits come from and to look like a hit bot made them.. So....

and I had a total of 5 banners on my site after dec. 3 of 04 and how all those hits came in jan. of 05 is anyones guess.. maybe bookmarkers BUT the fact dont change YOUR program owes me 55.00 and I will be expecting it in the mail..

At least it's only $55... You must have been getting chargebacks or something, it happens and it doesnt always mean the webmaster is fraudulent.

FreeAgeCard gave me the boot a while back because the retention rates in the free memberships I was sending were declining for some reason unknown to me. Was it my fault? No.... if anything it was their problem because their paysite couldn't retain members.

But can I blame them for making that move? Of course not, if my company was loosing money I would have done the same thing.

One last thing to put the icing on the cake.. greg said that in jan. 05 all the traffic came from one place - how could this be when I had no links on my site.. another mighty fishy thing... maybe a porn surfer booked maked all those sites and made fishy looking hits to set off your alarm and cause me all this time and grief and 55.00 and it not the money its whats right.. and I was not treated right.. and you made me feel like a smuck on icq and like I had a fake LL with no traffic and a thief to your program and I spent a whole year building my LL that has 6k in links and tell me my traffic is junk and bogus because my surfers didnt retain and someones stats are fucked..

And listen to me When you asked what search terms would pull up my site and what engines - I should have told you to KISS MY FUCKEN ASS... I made your program look as bad as you made me look and I tryed to straighten this out off the boards But you are the kind of person who cant be told any different..

I want you to apologize to me and my check because right now you look like the bad guy infront of 3000 + webmasters that are members on this board..

Oddly enough, my bot still hits all of them each day - but I've never seen my bot cause a "hit" in my stats, so I have no idea why mine causes no problems.

Shit - I gotta jump in & really don't want to.

I know what Jim knows which is what Greg sent him. It has very little to do with the bot. If I, as a program owner, saw the stats & didn't know who Plateman was, I probably would've kicked him out as well. I might have paid him the money that was owed & I might have suggested that he move to revshare insterad of PPS, but his account would have to be changed/adjusted.

Now, knowing Plateman as I do, I'd probably call him up & ask him a few questions about what I saw in the stats let him know what's what & go from there.


Everyone has to remember that there are a lot of cheats & scammers out there & with a sponsor paying $25-$35 per sign up, if they see something fishy in the stats (bots, conversions that are too good, very low % of trails to recurring, etc) they have to step in & do something about it.

I've had sponsors change me form PPS to Revshare because they said my conversions from trial to recurring member sucked.

I've had sponsors change me to the "confirmed member" thing on the free trials because very few people were recurring.

I've had a few sponsors tell me to stop using the free trial links or decide to pay me less per sign up because my trials were not converting.

You move on.

Yank the links if you don't agree & go find another sponsor - there's 500 programs out there - you're traffic will not do well with all of them & even if it does, that does not mean the sponsor can justify paying you a flat fee based on what your traffic does after they sign up.

But at this time, membership retention on this account is still far below our company average. Rather than close the account, SICCash would like to offer a revshare/partnership deal of 50% on all signups and rebills on all joins sent from this webmaster account. This change would take effect with the next payout period that starts on Monday December 6, 2004. A copy of this email notice is being mailed to you. Please note, I do not have the authority to change payout terms back to a per-signup basis. greg told me On ICQ that he is closeing my account and all monies would be paid on dec.3 04 and I pulled links right after that, then in reopens and now they JUST dont want to pay - all sales happened before dec. 6 04 and if there was anything fishy why did they offer rev - share.. I smell a RAT..

And also last night my account still let me login and I checked dec. 04 monthly stats and it showed a rebill remind everybody that after dec. 3 04 I had no links on my site and to have him say that all hits in jan. 05 came from the same place and I never ran my bot this month.. all this shows is that he and his program is a LIE AND HE IS A CHEAT..

Well since I dont give a fuck anymore I will tell you why they think I frauded them..

my ratios were to good and the sales were to close together..

Ok they knew that before dec. 6 04 read the email..

I told ramster that I couldnt believe how good my sales were with pure yahoo targeted traffic almost all my cat pages showed for terms in the serps - So am I the CHEAT - I think NOT

So greg looks at jan 05 traffic and says if you take the hit bot traffic away it will set off alarms..

Note again that dec 03 04 I pulled all links and no shit if you took all supposed hit bot traffic away something would look fishy - because I had Only 4 banners left and there is almost a 100 links were gone..

And not only did I convert SIC CASH very well but all my other sponsors as well and this one is the only one pulling this shit..

greg says not all sponsors check for this I think thats BS

and when I run my link bot only a few sponsors show a hit as a result of the link checker..

So then I loose my good yahoo traffic and sales stop dead and havent had a sale since they sent me the email that I am being offered rev- share and still remember I pulled all text links dec. 03 04

And I have almost 50 sponsors that pay webmaster millions of dollars and why didnt they come to me and say I am a cheat and a fraud - you dont think they check there shit and most all my links are pps and the ones that are rev - share rebill like most..

All This BS and time wasted is not over 55.00 it is over what is right and that SIC CASH dont want to pay..

SICCash again, what a surprise. The program is bad news. I think they spend all their time sitting around reviewing accounts looking for anything that could possibly be interpreted as cheating. If you send traffic to SICCash you're just begging for trouble in the future.

My 2 cent!

When I signed up with SIC back in 2000, my account also got frozen. I called them up and they told me the reason, my ratios were WAY WAY below average and something looked suspicous. I gave them the keywords/phrases where the SE traffic came from. They verified it, matched it up with the URL where the signups came from and couple of hours later everything was back to normal.

SIC's good in my book :)
