Using the word dogging
 

Dogging seems to be a fast expanding niche at the moment. Despite its name, it doesn't involve the use of animals. I know some sites ban the word "dog" from descriptions. Does the same apply to "dogging", and is that likely to change as more dogging galleries appear on the net?

I must admit I was a bit confused when NetpondCash released that site - LOL - but I linked to it :)

Who else has "dogging" sites now?

Can we get a Brit to give us a yea or nay on whether dogging is real or not? Sounds pretty damn hokey to me. Public sex is rare, but strangers joining in to public sex is just nuts, not to mention unhygienic.

I saw a documentary advertised about dogging on satellite TV, and although I didn't watch it... I believe it's very popular in Britain.

Down here "dogging" is putting someone down - as in "He dogged me out."

That applies to us old farts. The young folks say that "we have been dogging" meaning that they have been doing it doggie style. Lots of young girls down here run fire trucks.

Yes. Well, they're not necessarily parks as much as they are interstate rest stops.

Oh, after three posts in this thread I guess I should give my opinion on the word dogging. I don't care. Well, that was easy. Dogging, doggy-stlye, dog-faced slut with crooked teeth, whatever. As long as the description doesn't say something like "burying a 10 inch bone in my d*g's rectum", I'm cool.

A lot of men do hang out in parks! Not just the dogging ones... lets not forget the gloryholers... or since we are talking UK here... the cottage boys :)

A lot of people say that it actually started from dog walkers watching couples in cars. That's not stictly true as they tended to get their heads smacked if they were caught. It was the dog walkers visiting the gay dogging sites that had hetro areas added that got them accepted.

they also have a name for old age pensioners who get free bus travel after 9am
they call them "Twurleys" because they tend to try and travel before 9am
which makes them "Too early"

i am ducth so i am not suprised with any worth must say i have seen alot of dogging sites now, only looks like there isnt much content availble of it, because i see sites sumitted with the niche dogging and no dogging pics

That's why I've registered www.doggingtales.com to write some stories.
It's difficult to get real content because it really is people doing things secretly - they don't want it to be made public. NPC got round this by taking porn stars to genuine locations and making sure that no faces appeared for people that hadn't signed the 2257 stuff.

The origins of dogging in the UK

I'm trying to keep the green background because of the woodland association. Should I forget about it, or is this contrast OK.

I've got to say the jolly old UK has gone down the pan since I left a few years ago. I'd never heard of dogging until I read this thread so it's obviously a fairly recent innovation

It's been around for a long time. It just got a load of publicity when one of the tabloids found out about it.

Since I know about your little affinity with Germany you're probably interested to know that this is rather huge in Germany - for years! There are dozens of websites and boards dedicated to 'anonymous parking lot sex', which usually happens on rest stops along the German autobahn... Last time I was over there I just drove into one to visit the restroom and found myself in the middle of such a meeting (5-6 people).
My only concern: what's if kids, you're travelling with, really have to go to the toilet, and you don't want to expose them to such activities?

Was that gay or mixed?

Ya know its kinda funny - I used to travel a lot and whenever Id pull my RV into rest areas in the US (especially the ones that dont have the rest rooms that are just parking areas) it was amazing to see the amount of gay men that would come out of the woods

I think that's gone on in most countries for years. In England where the "rest rooms" were more primitive, gay men would loiter looking for casual sex. It even had it own name - cottaging. It was the demolition of these cottages that moved gay cruising further into the open and drew in the voyeurs and women, and this was the birth of dogging.
