What's your IQ?

Okay I don't care how smart you are, I just have a joke for ya!

A popular bar had a new robotic bartender installed.
A fellow came in for a drink and the robot asked him, "What's your IQ?"
The man replied, "150." So the robot proceeded to make conversation about Quantum physics, string theory, atomic chemistry, and so on. The man listened intently and thought, "This is really cool." So he decided to test the robot. He walked out of the bar, turned around, and came back in for another drink. Again, the robot asked him, "What's your IQ?" The man responded, "100." So the robot started talking about football, baseball, and so on. The man thought to himself, "Wow, this is really cool." The man went out and came back in a third time. As before, the robot asked him, "What's your IQ?" The man replied, "50."
The robot then said, "So, you gonna vote for Bush again?"

I'm assuming that's sarcasm... The president needs an intern under his desk at all times, there would be less war, and a better economy!

Indeed! It's time for a constitutional amendment - the Defense of Blowjobs Act, or somesuch. |headbang|

It's all a matter of perspective. Some people like higher unemployment, a huge deficit, borrowing money from China and Japan to wage war, high oil prices, inflation, higher crime, killing innocent people, our own soldier’s dying, jobs going over seas, fewer people with insurance and rising health care costs. Some of us don't like it and have IQs over 50 :D

Kenny B! 2005-04-18 10:17 AM

Moby I guess it takes all kinds, after all he did get voted in for a second term!

pornrex 2005-04-18 03:20 PM

LOL

Some people have short memories.

It was the Clinton administration that bombed the fuck out of Kosovo (for no reason whatsoever - and dont give me that bullshit about muslim genocide - Kosovo was and is Serbian) and that same administration sold WMD to Afganistan creating the mess that is today between Pakistan and India.
That same adminstration failed to heed the warnings from Libya regarding Osama as well as directly responsible for the mess that is the West Bank today.
As far as the higher oil prices, well have you thought that a couple of countries with burgeoning populations such as India and China might have something to do with the skyrocketing costs of oil and gas? They are the 2 BIGGEST consumers of oil and gas and you can't blame Bush for that. Every other think tank around the world seems to think so.

As far as the huge deficit, that's just a direct result of trying to put democracy in countries such as Iraq. You see, most of those middle eastern countries have far too many dick wads in high positions that threaten the existence of Americans and democratic thinking people around the world. If you can't see that democracy in muslim nations will bring peace to not only the middle east, but the ENTIRE planet, well then you are simply turning a blind eye.

Its so easy to express an opinion when you either don't have all the facts or you just simply don't care to tell the truth.

And Kenny B., since you are Canadian, dont get me started on the joke that is the Liberal Party! They have committed so many acts of malicious crimes to the good citizens of this country, they still have the audacity to point the finger at Stephen Harper, like EVERYTHING is HIS fault.

And as for you Moby, I respect some of the points that you are trying to make. Those of us that DO have IQ's higher than 50 do know that even people like you tend to forget. :D

Pornex, We can go on all day about politics and our views, we both feel we are right, so there will never be an end to this thread. I know better to get into a debate over politics and religion. You have your beliefs and I respect that.

With that said, you can say what you wish about the liberal party, I would most likely agree with most of it. I think the fact that they are defending funneling what is most likely well over $100m to ad company executives and then they turn around and cut education grants to student is absolutely disgusting! The Liberals used an Ad Campaign among other things to make themselves and their counterparts rich, the bush administration is using the war in Iraq, it’s no coincidence that Cheney was chief executive of Halliburton… all governments are corrupt in one way or another. It’s who you know as the saying goes.

The issue I have with the Bush administration is they went to war on false pretenses, the only way they could justify the invasion of Iraq was to play off the terrorist attacks and the fear of the American people by making Iraq seem like more of a threat to the US and to the world then they actually were. Bush did not invade Iraq to spread democracy, there are many countries that need democracy and actually have nuclear weapons, but they don’t have oil.

Our industry is suffering because of the current administration, any government who will spend $8,000 of taxpayers money to cover the breast on a statue in the Justice dept. will eventually spend whatever it takes to shut you and I down one day.

Hey Kenny...you make some valid arguements. |thumb

One final comment I do have to contribute to our "debate" is if there EVER is an effort to "shut you and I down one day" then you will know that day that the American right ot free speech is finished. Let's hope that never happens.

There has already been an ongoing effort. There was a deal made between the Bush administration and Credit Card companies some years ago. In a nut shell, make it harder for adult online merchants do to business and in return there would be tougher bankruptcy laws. You all know about how allowable% of charge backs over the years has steadily declined. When we started in this business in '99 we could have up to 3% in charge backs, then it was 2% then it was 1%, and the fees increased and the regulations increased, the annual surcharges increased to hold a merchant account. We have seen them shut down 3rd party billing companies one after another, and now in just the past 30 days the Administration announced tougher bankruptcy laws will most likely go into effect.

It's already happening, they are slowly working what they can to attempt to slow us down, take our business away and make the religious right happy so that they will vote Republican again in four more years.

Pornex, a joke is a joke. It doesn’t matter who you vote for someone will always make fun of your choice. Like I said, some people do like the way things are today. Some like the way things were before W.

Just because I don’t support the current military action doesn’t mean I haven’t supported many others. I also understand the economy was on a down turn when W took over and some things were not in his favor. That said I do prefer the better standard of living that more Americans had 8 years ago.

I have no idea why you brought up some of these issues unless it’s to avoid the current stats vs. the past stats but I think some of your statements are wrong and others are misleading.

Don’t you remember who’s daddy sent the troops to the region before Clinton was in office? Not blaming daddy Bush for this either since about half of the world and most of the UN wanted something to happen there.

I could be misinformed but what exactly was sold? Didn’t the mess start in Kashmir around 1990 when the guerillas started their cleansing raids? The tensions have been going for centuries and US policy doesn’t have a lot to do with that. Although I’m not a big fan of his economic policy towards India, I do think W is handling relations with Pakistan and India quite nicely.

Did you hear this in a bar, read it somewhere or just make it up? Come on, the USA still is the BIGGEST consumer of oil and gas.

China passed Japan last year because their auto production was up by about 70%. You know they’re getting huge amounts of money from the USA. India is using more oil as well but they’re not one of the 2 or 3 biggest as you state above. Where do you think China and India is suddenly getting all this money to boost their economies any way?

Can you name one major conflict in the Middle East (in the last 20 or 30 years) that did not cause oil prices to raise?

The good think tanks usually mention a few factors, war, new demand, trade deficit, hurricanes in our gulf and US investment in foreign countries. Most of these can be heavily influenced by the administration. That doesn’t mean the administration should but they can.

Wasn’t the deficit estimated around 660 Billion last year? OK, 85 Billion slated for the war, let’s say the same amount slated for Home Land Security. Doesn’t that still leave about 500 Billion dollars? I’ve seen a lot of different numbers so my number may be off but not that far off to change the fact that most of the deficit has nothing to do with keeping peace.

You have the right to take a joke for what it’s worth or be offended by it. That’s your choice. Please don’t forget, Osama was trained by the US decades ago and he is NOT related to Saddam in any way shape or form.

Let's just make some porn. |greenguy|

I really think your whole-hearted acceptance of the Western media's take on everything you see, should even make you stop and think before you express your opinions. CNN is NOT the only source of information on earth. :(

Alot of things can be said for just about anything in these chaotic times and I don't dispute that you or anybody else could contribute to this or anything remotely similar to this topic. The truth shall come out one day - and nobody is innocent except the little people dying on anyside of GREED. :(

With that said, yeah, lets just make some porn! |thumb
