It's a balmy 39° today & they are coming to open my pool - if this keeps up, I'll be having an ice skating competition this weekend :D

Mom & Gran are coming over for dinner again today, so I'll be scarce for the later half of the day.

Looks like another rainy day here. Kind of ironic that I bought a bunch of sprinkler supplies to fix my sprinklers and now it keeps on raining.

Moved FoxyAngel to a new better, faster, host with far better tech support last night. Move went real smooth but there is always some stress in moving hosts and getting sleep the first night of the move. Her mpegs now stream instant which makes me wet. :)

I should be pretty much around all day other then to run a few errands like ordering a pallet or two of sod now that I know how much I need and the cost. It's $150 for a pallet delivered and dropped off in your front yard and a pallet is about 500 square feet. It will take two pallets to do my whole backyard or one pallet to do the part that I really care about.

Morning folks. Nice and sunny outside and I forgot to go to bed.
At 6AM I got a craving for Chocolate Sufflé and made 2 of them.... but I forgot one thing in my delirious state so they turned out pretty nasty. Oh well, I'll make new ones for dinner :)

Well, that's how my morning has been. My daily TGP updates are getting smaller and smaller because I just don't have it in me to spend too much time going through my open submission queue. I've got 2,000+ gals in there and I always hated seeing it about 500. Fuck me with stick and call me ugly.

I'm still going through my backlog of +20,000 submits at my TGP. At the rate I'm going it's going to be a year or so before I start needing to give out new partner accounts.

I really like running a LL much better which is probably one of the reasons that it never has a backlog.

The fucking cat is freaked out. One whiff of good weather and the fucker does not let me sleep properly. No wonder there are so many strays in the city.

Anyhow, I will be building and submitting for the better part of my day, then tonight, I'm going to go get loaded |dizzy| if I have the time.

My yard is just jam packed with the hustle & bustle of busy workers today - 3 guys putting the finishing touches on the new gutters on the house, 2 guys working on opening the pool & one guy taking measurements for the new diving board - watching all this work makes me think it's time for a nap :D

grin yeah i know what you mean, i still wonder why my dad gives my mom an mothersday present every year....hey and i do give nice presents to my mom, so it isnt because of my presents i give my mom...well or is it..... :D

Good afternoon.

I've been sick in bed for the last few days, watching countless hours of quality History, Discovery and Sci-Fi programming. :)

I've also downed a pharmacy's worth of Vitamin C, Zinc and echinacea, which has helped a little. So it may be a day or so before I catch up on reviews and stuff. :)

There is something oddly surreal about driving to Home Depot in the pouring rain to buy more sprinkler supplies. I did remember to finally buy a new doormat for my front door.

I'm under the top of the a in Belle Glade -- it started raining here a minute ago. I've been hearing threatening thunder all afternoon, but, until just this instant, not a drop of rain. Yesterday I drove one direction to get lunch and it was pouring, drive the other direction to the bank and it was pouring, but, at the house, not much of anything except for a few drops here and there.

now it is pouring, but the sun is shining brightly.

If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes.

We are getting it pretty hard here. I was going to go to Lowe's instead since the Home Depot by me was out of a few things but decided to go to Home Depot since they have a two story parking lot that keeps the first floor dry.

I did notice what potable generators they had. I saw a 4400 one for a bit over a grand. Something about memories of storms past made me notice them. Would be nice to have enough electric to run a TV, computer and a few lights instead of sitting there bored as hell wondering when the utilities will work again. Been also thinking of getting cheap ADSL service for a backup in case the cable goes out again.

Damn I'm not looking forward to hurricane season again.
