But I love, love, love the business. The best home based business ever invented.

It is pretty rare for me to even pay attention to the pages now.... that wasn't the case for my first 3-4 months in the biz. :)

The stuff I like still does it for me, the stuff I don't is just pics lol. What catches my eye now business wise is a good set of pics, whatever the niche - that's why I'm all over the place in what I promote, I buy what I like, not necessarily a particular niche.
Having said that, it's mostly the business itself that drew me, not the dirty pics :D It's really interesting, so much to learn all the time, which I like, + offers the freedom to stay home for my kids, but to make $$$ too.
(Hubby just likes the fact that I'm in porn lol)

When I started in this business in 1999 I enjoyed the porn also. Several months after starting it was 100% business and has been so ever sense. If your are in this busines to make good money as opposed to beer mony then that is the only attitude to take.

I agree with Yell, meeting people and making friends is great.

But I'm in it for the money mostly. The feeling of success is nice as well and always drove me before being online so being able to do this fulltime and make more than I ever have before is a good reason.

It's all about the business. I'm sick and tired of "work" porn. But I find new angles every now and then so I don't have to deal with "work" porn :)

I been taking pictures/having pictures taken of me for 15 years at least and I only been making $ off them the last 5 ½.

I really have to disagree with that personally. I certainly am not only here to only make beer money and I believe that enjoying the content is a crucial bonus to writing good ad text etc. I couldn't sell something I didnt believe in or like.
There are valid points either way tho, for example ppl not selling gay because they don't want to look at it or can't understand it. They are missing a profitable niche.

I love the business. The porn doesn't do it for me anymore unless I see some great feet. Then I can get distracted easily so I try to avoid that if possible.

Porn really does nothing for me anymore. Thinking back, I don't think it ever did. I do have an appreciation for a quality picture but other than that...yuk :) How many times can you really see people having sex and have it still do something for you?

Surfing for porn was a hobby at one time and that got me started. Now I love working from home, setting my own hours and the friends in the business. I do love to see pictures of beautiful women, naked or not but I enjoy wastching them have sex less and less.

Never cared for porn, always found it kind of boring, I'm in it for the money.

I do get a bit of enjoyment from the shock value of some of the stuff that I shoot but that is about it.

Seriously though, it took about 3 months for the novelty to wear off, which is kind of a shame really, as it's much easier to write good copy. Now I tend to go overboard if anything, which although the difference is subtle, the difference is there. It is quite weird when my wife walks in if I'm choosing pics for say a lesbian freesite, and there are 2 gorgeous babes getting it on, and the biggest attention grabber is if a pic has bad lighting or whatnot. 'Looking at lesbians again?' she'll say jokingly. I don't have the heart to admit I'm looking at lighting, focus and the like lol.
even funnier (well, strange) is when I'm in the pub with my mates and one of them has a porno clip on their cellphone, the others drool and I have to look at 10 seconds of a 2"x2" clip of barely viewable blowjob action that 4 years ago I'd have been asking to borrow the phone lol. I won't lie though, some porn still does it for me, just none that I put together.

Here are my reasons, in no particular order:

1. Business & Money
To be a webmaster obviously you want to make cash.
2. Friends & Contacts made
I love the people that I have fun with who also have an excellent sense of humor.
3. Sense of achievement ie. building
I consider freesite building targetting search engines and so on, an asset building, revenue generating machine.
4. Freedom to work my own hours.
For someone as independent as I am, nothing beats this business for me.
5. Learning about the business
I've always considered myself to be a sick pervert but then I came here and realized that I'm quite angelic compared to some of you freaks. :D
6. Having Fun
All work and no play yada yada yada.

Hmm gotta say i like most parts of this business!
Although the sales aspect and networking is what i LOVE and just about all i do these days....sure i look over our productions, but cant say they mean anything to me other then a new potential sale.

Working close with clients is really what im best at and enjoy the most!

The truth:
I was asked a couple of years ago if this business had effected my sex life. It still hasnt, I still like looking at naked women. But, I have to admit the pictures that catch my eye are more about great photography than the naked girl. Bottom line, its the money that keeps me doing it.

Actually I do this a lot. Especially when you're working on a design in photoshop or making a site and you can have the most gratuitous photos open in front of you, but your attention is completely on layers, text, contrast, layout etc.

It's even weirder when you're in that mindset and someone comes in and you remember what it is you're working with.

My husband loves to come in and make shocked noises every now and again.

It's the only business I can earn an obscene amount of money and get layed by cute babes.

Well I like the porn and I do like the business. When I was shooting years ago. I remeber doing my first layout. Man I could not stand up. After that it was long shirts to the shoots for a little while. Then it got old. I had friends asking to assist. Just for fun i let a couple of them come to the shoots and I made them work. After about 2 hours they were sleeping in the corner. Got tired of seeing the girl get up pull out the toy and just drink a soda like nothing happened. I guess they expected a party or somthing.
