You would think that a Cat 5 storm is heading to Florida with the way the news is covering tropical storm Arlene. I did loose my power for a few times last night but not long enough to start up the generator.

I should be around most of the day since I'm waiting for my portable A/C to be delivered and a tall blonde tranny is bringing over her Powerbook to have Tiger put in it.

Espresso plus a bowel of granola with fresh peaches, honey, and soy milk is now being served.

I am trying to wake the boy now. I talked to 2 of his friends yesterday and told them if they got him out of here by 1:00PM, there would be $50 in it for them.

I really don't want him to feel slighted but...my job is done and I need a fucking break now. I raised the boy, got him through High School, Bachelors degree in Computer Science and he now has a federal job as a Mathematician. I think he is ready to be on his own :)

For my sweet 16 birthday my father came home drunk and threw me through the front window of our house. That worked pretty well in getting me to leave home because once I got out of the hospital I never slept in my parent's home again.

Wow. I have a whole new respect for you. My old man never did something like that. Well he did not throw me, just took his massive 240lbs and dropped it behind his fist. I guess he wanted to show me that he really could knock out my 125 lbs skinny ass. I flew across the porch and woke up 3 hours later with my bro helping me up and mom ripping dad an ass. TGIF!!! It's been a hell of week of work, so I haven't posted much.

My power keeps on going off for a few minutes at a time. Everything in my office is on two decent sized UPSs so it's more of an annoyance then anything else but I figure at some point within the next few months my power will go off for a long time since this little minor storm is messing with it so much. I am really glad that I bought that portable air conditioner that is being delivered this afternoon.

At least I don't live on a little patch of sand in the middle of the ocean like someone else does on this board. :D

Well, it's friday, the true start of my work week. A few things to get done today, the most massive task being in the search and destroy job on sponsor content that has been discontinued or the rights are being pulled on the 23rd, plus getting rid of old sites that support programs that don't support me by sending money.

I may end up with a few domains for sale as a result :)

There may be others here who have similar locations, so I'm not sure I'm alone on this one ... besides, this little patch of sand is almost 2 miles wide by 1 mile long. My theory is that anything too big for wall to wall carpet and you should be fine. :D

my dad paid my hubby to take me out of his house :D , morning all, i feel like a zombie, and yes ofcourse i overslept myself this morning, i went to sleep on the sofa at 5.00 this morning , didnt wanted to wake the rest f the house up if i would jum in bed, with result hubby woke me at 5.30 and i was playing dead, my 8 year old woke me up at 8.30 with telling me " mom shouldnt we be on school right now......." me jumping up, getting ready and turbo drivd to school and just told the teach" yeah yeah i overslept what you going to do about it:D" now me working on my lls......nice weather here ad i hope it stays that way, looks like summer is starting late here, normally i would be at my summerhome, but now its still to cold, damn country

The calm before the storm… it has actually gotten nice out, a bit windy but not raining anymore.

I'm still waiting for my delivery. I guess I should get some work done. I hate when I go to use a sponsor and they don't have any banners in the size that I need.

I was up at 5:45, but since there was a HUGE storm here last night, the cable was out :( So we decided to do our running around a little early, got home & went to the pool house to unload all the pop (soda for you people that don't know what pop is) & found out that there was quite a bit of water in there :(

So I spent 60-90 minutes with the wet/dry vacuum & then took a nap.

So here I am, in a very foul mood.

My cable connection has gone down 15 times in the last last month alone, so I know EXACTLY what you mean.|angry|

All I want to know is, after she writes that book, who's going to play her in the movie?

This is all I walked away after four years in the army. In Minnesota they refer to soda as 'pop'. In Texas they refer to it as 'coke'. I need to know no more.
