We have plans of opening our new link list early next week. The design and graphics are done. We are just putting in the cool features that will keep everyone honest :)

I have been told by sparky that this is autosubmitter proof. I want people to try to autosubmit and if it gets through, let me know. I won't remove the links...I will just get it fixed so it never happens again.

What do i need to be a trusted autosubmitter?

Nothing...we will not accept autosubmitters.
I am buying traffic and getting great trades for the site and only people that work hard and submit by hand will get this hard earned traffic.

Good for you. I am also not going to fill the list up with sites so it looks busy to open. People that submit will be the only ones listed.

Yeah - why bother giving the surfers something to look & or a reason to come back the next day or week :D

Yeah they need a script that will pull links off other LL reword the description (if needed) and import to the DB.. I feel if a LL dont have many links most surfers will back out, unless you get prue se traffic then you should have a decent amount of pay sites to make a possible sale...my 2 cents.. A LL is a tough game but jim knowing most of the bigger players he should cut the time that a LL starts producing..

Or you could just go the tried & true way of surfing & adding sites that you like :)

Nope...people that submit will get the traffic. It there is only 10 submission, they will get all my trades and traffic I buy.

So you'd open a grocery store & only stock 5% of the shelves?

If I were giving the groceries away, I would be happy to do that.
This is a brave new world I am entering this week. I am going to take submissions a day or two before it is open to surfers. Hopefully that will fill it up enough.

I announced that Whoring Wives now accepts free sites days ago and I've received only two free site submissions thus far. Whoring Wives even has traffic. At the same time, the submissions to Filthy Earl have decreased heavily. It's not that easy to find a good stream of submitters.

At first, I am going to deal with that. And, as I said, I am taking a big GGandJ package for the opening. So, I hope it works :)

You didn't think you could write that you are getting no submissions without someone helping you did you?

Jim - take it from someone who knows - if you do it this way, you will have everything except links to send the surfers to & they will not come back once the see a shell of a Link List.

Get some sites in the categories before you open - give the surfers a reason to bookmark the site & come back the next day/week.

I am just doing it a different way.

And, if I do do it your way, the first time the bot went out and found no recip, it would get deleted. Perhaps we could give it a few weeks of a free ride and then remove them.

Not sure yet...Sparky and I are still talking about it.

I'm sure Sparky could put some sort of "ignore" button in there so that you can not look for a recip from certain sites.

Of course, that is another reason that you should not automate everything.

Doesn't your program allow you to specify that a recip is not required for a specific trade? Mine does.

I am just going to do it differently once sparky and I talk about it a bit. I just hate to buy traffic and send it to people that have not even submitted their own sites.

I really wish Sparky would toot his own horn. I know that our bot is special but I don't know how it is so special. If he feels the need to tell you guys, he will.

If he feels it shoud be kept secret, it will be.

One think I know for sure...our first sponsors are going to be the sponsors on this board. After that, I will have to look at greenies list :)

About a week or two ago, I submitted a couple of sites to you. Don't know how far ahead or behind you are or whether you send out accept/reject emails but to this day (as far as I know) have not seen a listing.

I have bad news UW, I'm working on some free sites and you're going to get some. Same thing Jim as soon as your site opens.

Jim, does this mean the new Sparky script is almost ready? :)
