Had my first Spanish class last night. So many people enrolled that it had to be moved to a bigger classroom. I thought it was going to be dry and boring but it turned out to be very enjoyable and I'm looking forward to next week's class. Oddly enough a Puerto Rican woman that I had dated some years ago called me right before class. She wanted to know if I would be interested in doing something so I suggested dinner, a movie, and private Spanish lessons. :D

I get to go to the dentist today to have my gyms checked. Nothing hurts and I seem to have healed real well from the gym infection I had last month so I'm hoping for good news and nothing too painful being done today.

I have a bunch of errands to get done before I'm without a car next week as next week is when I'm getting a killer sound system that my iPod will plug into installed into my car. They say that they will have my car for three or four days so I may be taking a taxi to school next Wednesday.

Espresso, rice, and soy riblets are now being served.

When I arrived at the office today there were 2 strong belgian beers on my desk, I was supposed to drink them within 15 minutes. I managed to do that. Now I'm drinking shots of "apple-jenever". Sure is a nice day to "work" today. Oh yeah, and I'm getting kind of drunk but no one seems to mind here.

I'll be glad if I will get my reviews done today...

After basketball last night we went to the casino. First time there in over a year and now I see why. I dropped $140, not too bad I guess. My friend won $100 so all is good.

You really have to wonder about our school system…

The school tells us all that we need this book but we can't take home or buy the ones that they give out in class and no stores have them in stock. Our local Boarder's Books will have them in a week or two since the manager of the store is also a student in our class but waiting a week or two is way too long to wait for a class that is only eight weeks long. Plus they can only get ten copies and there are over thirty people in the class.

I bought it from Amazon and paid more for overnight shipping then what the book itself costs.

Total costs was just under $30 for a book that costs $10.36 but it will be at my front door tomorrow.

Cleo glad your enjoying your Spanish class!! I've always wanted to learn a new language myself. The thought of going back to school has always stopped me though!

I have a hard enough time with english.

Parts for the boat should arrive today. UPS says they are on the truck.
