I've got a little bit of work to do before I go & shovel the massive amount of snow we got last night (2 inches) & then prepare for a day on the couch watching football as my family & friends annoy the living shit out of me |thumb

Happy one to all. Dont eat to much..

We ate our dead bird last night, and all I can say is damn, I can cook a mean bird, I hear a sandwich calling me.

About 3 years ago I won a DVD burner from a football pool online, at the time they was $450 or so, so I was really happy with it and it served me well until last month, I made a data DVD and when I tried to make the second DVD I kept getting errors, and gave up on it since I thought maybe the file was corrupted. Then Monday I tried to make a data DVD for Toni and same thing, so I knew the burner has burned away.

Yesterday I decided to defrag and do a "disk cleanup" on my main pc and during the "disk cleanup" I got an error telling me to get my XP cd out, I did and nothing happens, but then ICQ kept crashing constantly. Then my anti spam program stopped working and IE would crash and the only thing I would get is a "c+++" error. So after a few hours I decided to say fuck it and format.

Uploaded all my vitals on my server and then realized I have personal pics not updated to the server which is about 3 gigs in size, so we went out and bought a new DVD burner for $160, dual layer Sony +/- and so far I think it's rocking.

Now today I get to finish getting my pc like I want it again.

Torn the c+++ error was happening to me too :( I think it a network thing with ICQ

my ICQ kept crashing too. I was using the 2003b version. I've upgraded to ICQ5 and haven't had a crash all day.

Happy Thanksgiving!! Damn it smells nice in my house, nothing like a turkey cooking in the oven...YUM!!

To those of you in warmer climates, you're so lucky. I woke up to 3 inches of the white stuff today, so already I'm in a bad mood about that. Add to that that I have a a sore back from sleeping awkwardly on the damn couch last night as the TV watched me, and today should be filed in that recycling bin on my desktop - if only it could fit!

Oh well, no rest for the wicked nor for the noob so back to work I go!

As I said before, in the spirit of the US Thanksgiving to our friends in the south I am heading out to have some turkey today too. Some friends and I will be going to a bar to watch the Cowboys and Broncos. So lots of turkey, beer and football.

How many of you turkey eating gluttons are doing the deep fried turkey? I had this one year while in Phoenix for thanksgiving and it was awsome, as most deep fried is.

Just be safe and make sure you're not doing this indoors, because you don't want to thankful that the fire department is only 2 blocks away!

good evening all:) and happy thanks giving day to all the people in the usa:) yep i had the fucking crashing to with the icq and it drove me nuts, today i downloaded the new icq 5 like fonz and hell it didnt crash, but i am pushing my luck because i have used icq5 before till that one crashed and i had to change again, icq sucks, but i realy need it for the adult bizz to keep contact with those bizz guys who are 9 hours ahead of me in time:) its almost my bedtime, its 11.13 evening here, just wanted to say have an great thanksgiving day all:))))))
