epassport fee structure
 

what is it, normall i get my money by check but i might start using epass more. what are the fees. i try to find it on the website but dont see anything?

I can't find them either, but I know it's 25 cents to send money to another ePassporte account & $2 to take cash out at an ATM

when you recieve money from sponsors its about 2 bucks very cheap, if you sent money to people it will cost ya 0.25 :D like gg said and pulling yep 2 bucks, too, i am a real epassporte fan:D saves me so much cost

Yep I use epassporte alot now too. Fees are pretty reasonable and it saves a lot of time waiting on checks.

If you use your virtual card to pay for online stuff the fee is zero, that's what I like about ePassporte :)

yep i use the virtual to pay for hosting buying ocontent and domains and all you can do with it.

I find the load fees to be excessive - about $5 per $100. I have a couple of partners and a couple of content providers that requires me to use epassporte each month. When you are a broke cocksucker, those $5 can add up in a hurry

But...it does cost a small fortune to put money into the account.

Hey Keyser or anyone else that can answer this..
My epassporte electron card and virtual visa both expire 01/06, will epassporte send me a new one soon or do I need to do something? And will it be sent from the US before the 1st of Jan (it will take weeks to get here). I am getting a bit concerned about getting short on money at what it is the worse time of year. hehe and exactly when I am quitting smoking which is a damn scary time for anyone who knows me.

You Virtual card will renew automaticly on date you signed up and $5 will be deducted from you account.
You will get a new expiration date and a new CVV2.

If you look at your Electron card it says good thru 01/06 and on one of the first days of the month were the card expires, it will be renewed (if you have $35 in your account) and a replacement will be sent to you.

My card says good thru 12/05 and on 12/2 I got a message from ePassporte to my ePassporte mail that said an order for a new card had been placed.

Thank you Keyser, its nice to get answers so easily :D I think I better take a big lot of cash out on new years eve to tide me over for the wait just in case...
Or I just realised does that mean the card is good for the whole of january?

Take a look at your card if it says good thru 01/06 you should be set for January :)

Note: You actually have to wait for the old card to expire before you can start using the new one. Found that out after multiple emails and a $30 long distance charge listening to somebody at the other end hunt-and-peck on the keyboard for about 20 min.

Yes my new card has been sent, yes my old card is supposed to work until the end of the month. But it doesnt. It keeps saying I am entering the wrong pin (which I am not) I emailed epassporte yesterday about this but no reply yet and I am freaking because I absolutely need that money for bills and kids school stuff way before the end of the month.
I have no idea what could have happened.. they cancelled my old one? changed my pin. Happy fucking new year. Anyone else had this happen?

Try changing your pin (it will be for the current active card no matter what the page says) then try the ATM again.
If it still doesn't work please email me.

How about upping that withdrawal amount from ATMs? $500 is *around* £250 which is about the standard daily limit for most banks in the UK, would be nice to get that straight from my account rather than having to dip into my usual bank account for those expensive days out :)

Email me your account name and a email where you can be reached and I'll make sure the form for raising limits are mailed to you.

Thank you Micheal. It worked! Saved my ass too. I never noticed that you could change your pin on the site. I can see why you say no matter what the page says lol, its confusing. I hope Epassporte is paying you well as you are a credit to them. My support email never got answered btw.

Yeah there seems to be a little bug in the system when a new card is added but the techs are working on it.

For a business account it cost $2 to transfer to other epass account - I have NO clue why it's more expensive for business accounts, but thats the way it works, so thats why most sponsors charge this to webmasters.

Furthermore we pay $30 when we wire money to the account.

Say Keyser, what is the logic of having a 24 hour cap on the amount one can load?

Its to protect everyone.
ePassporte from fraud and card holders if someone gets access to their account, then only a limited amount of money can be transferred.

Its possible to get higher limits, you need to fill out a form and mail it back with a copy of a goverment issued ID and a copy of your load card if you have one attached.

What crook is going to load their money into my account?

I am not talking about withdrawals. I am speaking of adding money to the account. At $5 per hundred, I would think you would want me to empty my bank account into my epassporte account.

Mr. C Rook get hold of a stolen CC with access to the account.
He opens a CC and load the account with thousands, transfers it to another ePassporte account where he has a Electron card, use that card to withdraw the money.

You can get the load limit raised as well, there is a reason why the limits are in place but if a card holder is willing to confirm his/hers identity, all the limits can be raised.

Don't even get me started on limits. When my mother died, I needed my limit raised and sent the appropriate documents 3 times. All 3 times I was told they never got them. After sending sensitive documents 3 times to a fax and being told they didn't receive them, I decided enough was enough.

The load limits suck. And you are right Chop, what thief is going to steal your information and load up your account with extra money.

For me, ePassporte has been a let down in every way possible. From the crazy $5 per $100 load fee to the piss poor support. Keyser, none of these comments are meant towards you...don't take offense.
