"TARZAN ENGLISH"

DEAR PEOPLE:

I can understand that my english is like the "Tarzan english" on movies of the year 1935.

But, is it so difficult for you to have patience with the people that have not the english like a native languaje?

Your sincerely,

TALLEYRAND

Chop Smith 2005-12-13 04:34 PM

Are you trying to get banned? Is that your desire? In the words of my good buddy, Useless Warrior, "shut the fuck up."

Its nothig to be taken personal.

For example,

If you were receiving submissions with hopeless descriptions that just didn't make sense it gets old fast.

I mean everyday shit loads of descriptions like these for example:

"Babes lick and toes masturbate in the kitchen"

"Busty ebony sucking drilled titfucking than facial"

Your patience tends to run out

DEAR CHOP SMITH:

Did I wrote some bad in this thread???

Yours sincerely,

Yes.

DEAR SLEEPER:

I understand you.

My problem is not with Greenguy that told me that the english in my page is very bad, because I copied it from a banner of Nastydollar. You can watch it in the another thread.

My problem (I am very angry) is with the people that reply to me using a lot of bad words (when i read it I think that they injuried me).
May be it is normal here to write in that way...

Your sincerely,

TALLEYRAND

Talleyrand, isn't there a webmaster board for people from your country (wherever that may be)? You are not winning any brownie points by stating you took the text from the sponsor when you didn't know enough about the English language to know when to STOP the sentence. You just grabbed words. In the order you chose to list them, they makes no sense. You are asking all link list owners to be "patient" with your lack of proper english, but do you have ANY idea how many people that mangle the english language submit to link lists per day?? So to do what you request means an english speaking reviewer is to spend 5 times the amt of time per day trying to decifer whay your kind of submissions have in them, instead of working efficiently to make their own money. Do you consider this reasonable?
Common sense says everyone is working for themselves and there is a need for time management. To mess with sites that are written by people who vaguely understand sentence structure in english, is NOT time efficient.

Greenguy 2005-12-13 05:20 PM

I also just fucking love the text on the sites that are actually images

Actually, it was not so much of what you said. It is the fact that you started a new thread on the same subject.

However, where is Furrygirl? I am about to do her gig. Your sentence structure above is totally wrong. It should be, "Did I write something bad in this thread?" In addition to your incorrect use of a verb, three question marks is totally unnecessary!

Talleyrand, this is much more than a language barrier. It is the fact that your people will not accept an answer. For some reason you have failed to grasp the meaning of "NO".

Greenguy 2005-12-13 05:57 PM

I would like to direct this to the distinguished members of the panel: You lousy corksuckers. You have violated my farging rights. Dis somanumbatching country was founded so that the liberties of common patriotic citizens like me could not be taken away by a bunch of fargin iceholes... like yourselves.

Someone from Mississippi giving English lessons. That's not something you see every day |couch|

Talleyrand 2005-12-13 06:22 PM

DEAR FETISH1:

Thank you for your words. I will think about to it.
In the future, I will make sites with only very basic words, (CUMFIESTA, click here now!, etc) and I will not copy the sentence in the banners.
I will hope that the sentences in the webpages of the sponsors will be correct!

Yours sincerely,

TALLEYRAND

I read some time ago in an article that the best is to put the warning inside an image, in that way the SE will not to index the warning.

The problem is you didn't copy the text verbatim, you butchered it...which is sad, cause you wouldn't think that copying text would be that difficult.

I got my woman to rewrite the other post. Here is the translated version:

You have some ball on you to stay here. I see your pain.

If all of my relatives would die it would wipe out illiteracy. Therefore, I hire an educated woman to write my text. Would you like for me to recommend you to her?

Talleyrand 2005-12-13 08:13 PM

DEAR CHOP SMITH:

Can someone here to think that I am very happy of to have problems with other persons?

I only posted for to answer about my last site rejected by GreenGuy, no more.
However, all that I write is a problem for you and other.

May be the real problem is that I was not born in USA... You understand me. Did you?

Best regards,

TALLEYRAND

Yes, I understand. You cocksucker, I try to help you and you want to start a pissing contest|waves|

Talleyrand 2005-12-13 08:42 PM

DEAR CHOP SMITH:

Obviously, is most easy to read Hemingway in english that read this board. The worst is that I can not to understand what is a help a what is an attack because the coloquial language is not in the scope of my poor english. It is a big pity. I thinked that here I will learn a little bit of english.

I am very tired of this. Today I had not maked a free site for to pay attention to this board.

If you tried to help me I thanked it to you.

THE END - FIN - HASTA LA VISTA BABY

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your grasp of the English language is not that good. We suggest the you take a class at your local university so that you can learn how to speak proper English. Once this is accomplished, please feel free to return to the board & we will be more than willing to help you.

Sincerely,
Greenguy & Jim

I am not sure if some people think Tallywhacker is Russian but his whois says Buenos Aires. That may be why his name isn't on that 'other' board.

Yep, I noticed that too.

Just a gut instinct...he almost seems too perfectly off the mark to be real. But, then again...things have been a bit surreal around here lately...perhaps my bullshit radar is outta whack...lol.

Oh, btw Nat...love the Tallywhacker nom de plume :D

natalie 2005-12-13 11:08 PM

lol thanks MrYum, I think it fits. Unfortunately I also think he is for real.

I think some people don't get that its not a racist thing, its not because someone wasn't born in the US, its not totally about bad English either.
I remember what Stu wrote like a couple of years ago, I could understand half of it lol. (love ya Stu) The point is though that she was happy to learn, she didnt take advice as offensive and her free site text was fine.
The problem with these new 'webmasters' is they ask advice or a question and then argue every point. We can't list sites that have text that makes absolutely no sense! And if we are being nasty about it its because we are sick of helping people who do not want to be helped. I think Tallywhacker would have got a better reception if Yafool hadn't start causing problems just before he joined.

Very good summary of the situation, Natalie. |thumb

I am so afraid that invasions of these new 'webmasters' will hurt the quality of this community. I would hate to see an entire group of IP's blocked but perhaps Greenguy and Jim might reconsider their ban policy.

If Tallywhacker is not for real, someone has gone to lots of trouble to pull it off. I know of couple of board members that would do it. If it is a joke, I hope I get a chance to laugh with them because they have done a good job poking fun. :)

MrYum 2005-12-14 12:15 AM

Yep, a very good analysis Nat |thumb

We all love Stu! Her chinese dutch (as I think she calls it) is actually charming in her own cute way :)

You're absolutely right...this has zero to do with where people are from...or their native language. It has tons to do with coming to these forums and arguing every damn point when people do try to help. And yea, everyone is getting real tired of seeing free sites with language so bad, it makes no sense.

Agreed Chop...this definitely has the potential to negatively impact this community. And could easily have effects on the link list/free site customer base if these sites propagate too much. I don't think our surfing customers want to see these sites, with their horrible english and questionable paysites either |angry|

Hi Tallywhacker! Sooooo, are ya real? :D

Jel 2005-12-14 05:19 AM

As others here have said, it's very frustrating to see sites submitted with descriptions that make no sense. Those can be changed by the reviewer, but when the actual text on the sites is so hard to decipher, it's impossible to list them. We market to native English speakers, so accordingly the sites we list are for the most part those that are subbed by native English speakers. Of course, there are those who are not native English speakers, but have a good enough grasp that the sites are easily read by the surfers we are marketing to.

It has nothing to do with where a particular site builder is from, other than the text simply has to make sense to our surfers.

It sometimes is like trying to make sense of text that is here: http://www.abc.net.au/pm/content/2005/s1474686.htm (written by Ronnie Barker).

It's like us trying to make a site(s) aimed at e.g. Italians, when we have very little grasp of how to write in Italian, it just doesn't work. An idea would be to work on TGP with minimal text, until you brush up on your English language until such time that your text will make sense to the English speaking surfers who visit our sites.

Best of luck :)
