I for one would enjoy the tax structure of the US on disposible income items. Things we spend money on all the time like booze, gas, utilities taxed lower, all retail purchases, ect.

I think it was the wonderful Ann Coulter who let that one slip on FoxNews. She also appeared on CBC, and during an interview commended us for fighting in Veitnam. The interviewer told her on air: "Canadians did not fight in Veitnam." She wouldn't belive it.

My feeling is that the relationship between the US and Canada won't get better any time in the next 3 years until the boy who would be king gets ousted and replaced with someone who has a clue.

You think it's going to be that easy? He's not leaving office until he's had his way. There will either be nothing left to turnover, he'll take a poison pill like his daddy did and send troops all over the place before he leaves or they'll doctor up new laws.

Either way, it's going to take a long time to clean up this mess. Hell, Iraq will take a generation at least and the deficiet may never get fixed after 8 years of this.

It's good that paul martin stood up and said that, it's probably going to win him a lot of support. The US ambassador can't dictate to our pm about what to do and not to do, it's insanity! |crazy|

The only problem I have with Canada, besides having over $2million stolen from me by a Canadian is their total lack of importing. I don't like that on signs that are also in English, the English font has to be so much smaller.

Oh yeah...I hate flying to Canada too. All instructions have to be both in French and English.
