No, I didn't suddenly start censoring myself. This is as much for the benefit of the newbs as a little rant for the benefit of...well...me.

I've been getting submissions with the word "fuck" censored to "fu*k", and it's really beyond my fucking understanding.

I mean, you're submitting your fucking free site to a fucking porn link list, where the fucking reviewer sees the word fuck in submissions all fucking day, and the word fuck likely works into the fucking SEO scheme some-fucking-how.

The fucking surfers came to the fucking link list looking for some pictures of people fucking, so why the fuck would you think you'd need to censor your fucking pages? What, you think these fucking people want to see some fucking pics of people fucking but they're somehow going to be fucking offended by seeing the word "fuck" on the fucking page someplace and you've got to fucking censor it? FUCK NO YOU DON'T.

My fucking surfers want to see some fucking, and I fucking give it to them. If there are people fucking on your fucking free site there's probably some fucking hint of that somewhere in the fucking site description that lets them fucking know that, and I'm not going to edit anybody's fucking description to fucking un-censor anything, so those fucking submits get fucking declined without further fucking consideration.

I've been working on a project the past several weeks that includes harvesting some descriptions from a paysite...some of those descriptions are censored the same as you desribe Max. Makes zero fucking sense to me.

Needless to say, I've been re-editing the correct text back into the descriptions I'm using on my site.

lol, nice rant. There's a few TGP owners that have gone the very politically correct route...they don't allow words like Bitch, Whore, Fuck, etc in either the description or anywhere on the page. It always seemed kind of weird to me that someone in porn goes politically correct with terminology and then will list a gallery that kind of defeats the point of political correctness.

Seriously, some multiplayer games censor certain words automatically (with parental control turned on by default), so few newbies who don't know how to turn parental control off get in the habit of chatting with other gamers online using *$&^/. Could be some of these guys migrated to building free sites, who knows.

I know that Richard's Realm for instance never used to allow the word "fuck" in titles or descriptions (as submitted to them, I don't think it matters as to what is on the page. This may be wrong or outdated though). So some of these people might not just be fucking sheltered afterall, they might be building to a common denominator? Dunno.

It may be acceptable other places however if submitted to me it's an instant delete |club|

I'm pretty easy but if someone submitted "fu*k" to me, I'd just change it to "fuck". :D The hell with the censorship. But I can see where people will have their own beliefs. Much the same with the "language degrading to women" issue (whore, cunt, bitch, etc). I might not be as anal about it (and see it in a different way), but I can certainly understand and respect the right of others to decide what they seek. Much of it seems POV.

I don't like seeing such language used. My momma taught me to respect women, even when they're not being particularly lady-like. The only time I allow it, or use it myself, is if the girl/site is using it to promote themselves.

And I can respect that. I allow all those words, except "cunt" I find a little bothersome particularly (but haven't ran into it yet). But while I allow it, IRL I can't actually recall once using those words to describe any woman for at least the last three years. I'm not like that at all.
