I have to run my dog over to the vet in about 30 min so that he can have a puss filled growth removed from his eye-lid. Last year it was the left eye, this year it's the right. He'll be fine, but there will be a lot of |pokefun| |dog this weekend since he'll be wearing the lampshade for a couple of days :D

Other than that, I have no hockey team to root for anymore, so I'll be working on sorting thru sponsors for my stats |thumb

I have a few legal things to do today and there is a towtruck coming today to take away our good old Durango :) I sold it and couldn't be happier to see it go.

I have been busting ass on a project that I have until Monday to finish and it’s an excruciating tedious process, so I am stressing somewhat. But I did get some help that should make sure I will be done in time so when I took a PM at 11pm last night thinking I would be in a dead sleep for at least 6 hours but actully only getting 2 or less.|yawn|

We have had to turn the A/C on the last 2 nights due to the humidity and both nights was just awful sleeping for the both of us due to the humidity, even with the A/C running all night. So today I get out of bed all pissed off and ready to call the landlord to raise hell when I go to turn off the A/C and see that it is already off… I had turned the fan from “auto” to “on”. So now the reason why we still have the high humidity makes sense.|banghead| |banghead| |banghead|

Ho hum…

Somehow I think tonight I will be sleeping.|potleaf|

Went over to Angel's last night and got one of her voyeur cams working. Everyone over there is sick with a cold so I was spraying disinfectant on everything and using disinfect on my hands every time I touched anything. Electrician is suppose to run the cables for three more cams next week.

Doing the gym and then have a bunch of errands to do.

Hope all goes well with the pooch Greenie. Took my lil furball to the vet yesterday to get a wart removed from his ear. So far, he's not messing with the stitches...so no space dog collar for him...yet...

I'm having problems installing w2k3 enterprise -- your telephone procedure says that the number is invalid.

"Ok, what is the 36 digit code at the top of the screen?"

I read the digits, he hands me a 36 digit code in response -- which also fails. Bear in mind, as you type each group of 6 numbers, the cursor is sent to the 'next' button, so you have to click back up in the prompt for the next 6.

"I am sorry sir, I don't know why it isn't working. Lets try again"

Reread 36 digit code, get another 36 digit code, confirm that the code is identical.

"I am sorry sir, it should be working. My call timer is at 14 minutes, I'm going to go ahead and close this ticket and advise that you call back. Thank you for your time and have a wonderful day." click.

So I call back, pretty much the same response, although they offer to transfer me to fee-support since they cannot fix it. Keep in mind, this software is $2900 for a single machine. Ok, I'll pay $295 to get it installed, I take the number and call it. While he is generating a service ticket, he says, I'm sorry sir, it is my break time, if you call back, someone will open a ticket for you. However, he had handed me fee-support's phone number.

I call Fee Support, talk to them, they say, "What credit card will you be charging this to?" I tell them that I purchased the software, I am trying to install it, I was referred to this number, but, the guy was going on break and hadn't opened the ticket. She seems sympathetic, starts the process of opening a ticket. Long silence... hello, hello? dial tone.

I call back, the ticket was partially opened, but, there is a ticket and a 'revenue release tag' on it -- which means I can get installation help for free.

Her advice, you know, it might be quicker just to reinstall the software and call us back if you cannot get the online procedure to work.

I said, that is why I am calling.

"what kind of network card are you using?"

'The machine has two, Intel EEPro 1000 and a Broadcom/Intel 1000/GE card (built into the motherboard)'

"Yeah, we don't support Intel cards without their drivers. Have you tried reinstalling to see if the cards are recognized?"

I said, give me the case number so I can call back after reinstalling.

"Oh I'm sorry sir, we're not allowed to give you that number. You'll need to open a separate incident if you don't have the ticket number. If you are reinstalling, I'm going to go ahead and close the ticket. Thank you for calling Microsoft and you have a good day". Click.

So I'm starting work, watching curling, groggy tired. At least the weather is beautiful, supposed to be high of 65, bright and sunny, oh I love this time of year in the desert. |sun

As I said in another thread, got my wi-fi connection all set up. Going to pull all the wires through the holes in the wall and store them away. :D Other than that, got a lot of porn work planned, plus some work on a non-adult site for a client, busy day!

Just dug out from a morning of paperwork and recapping all the tradeshows for the past 2 weeks. BLAH.. i dred March because we have like 60 that month *rolling eyes*..

anyway not much more on tap..have to finish submitting my 1 free site in the last 2 months.. I guess i lost my Ramster inspired sign "Build" somewhere between Seattle and here.

21 hours flight is BRUTAL!! But I'm finally in Vegas. I guess I will be scarce for the next month.
