So, my daughter finally said "Yes"
 

Last night her boyfriend took her out and asked her to marry him. I guess he took my 2 months salary for a ring to heart. He gave her a nice 2.5 carrot heart shaped ring :)

After he has asked her 10 times, I guess all it took was to get the ring she told him to get :)

They want to run off to Vegas and get married by Elvis. That's fine by me :)

At first, I kept telling Vickie not to push her but after the second child, even I wondered what the hell she was waiting for.

Anyway, sometime this year, I'm sure Vickie and I will be taking the red eye to Vegas with no notice at all. But, even if I had to rent our own private jet, I would still be saving money :)

I can't wait for my girls to get married (and they are only 15), so they will get out of the house and I can get some peace and quiet! It's pretty bad when you have to go to work to get some relaxation! Anyways... congrats to the both of you Jim!

They really want it to be as cheesy as possible :) They first wanted to do the drive through chapel and now Elvis. My lovely wife is right now trying to talk my Daughter into letting me Marry them.

I did the Universal Life Church thing a few years ago and got the whole package from them. So, I could do it if I wanted to.

So, now I found out that I will be flying our entire family to Vegas with about 2 days notice. I have a lot of comps at the MGM so I am hoping they will help me out a bit :)

I really have no idea when this is going to happen. My wife wants the whole family to go but my Daughter said that kind of negates the reason for eloping. :) I may get out of this much cheaper than I have ever thought.

Average is 30 minutes from line to wed unless its on Valentines day.

We decided at like 1230pm while downtown and by 115pm it was a done deal and in the taxi on the way home.

Congrats :) My wife and I did the next cheesiest thing besides Vegas. We went off to one of them wedding chapels in the Smokey Mountains, way deep in the backwoods of Tennessee. Our honeymoon cabin was fucking sweet as hell though, nice big jacuuzi :)
