A little headache put me to bed around 9 last night so I am up and refreshed. My wife came to bed around 3 and has already gotten up :) Not sure what's up with that yet.

Let's have a better day today than yesterday.

It looks a little stormy outside...

I think I just saved a frog from dying. Found him/her in my basement completely dehydrated. The head was huge compared to it's dehydrated body. I put him in our pond in shallow water to see what would happen. Half an hour later he started moving again. I hope he pulls through so I've done my good deed for today :)

Happy Tuesday My Fat Ass!

I'm going to be without power for a little bit & probably without water for most of the day (I sure hope they get the water in the Pool House on so I can deposit solid waste if the need arises)

And I'm still in a shit mood because the HD feed on Fox went out for the 2nd time in 4 weeks in the middle of 24 (at least they reply to me with lame excuses - 1st time it was a part that broke, so I replied back last night & commented on how strange it was that this part likes to break around 9:30 Monday night)

Back to the Radio Show tonight - Jim & I have a lot to talk about :D

The weather is getting real nice out. I might even leave the house today just to enjoy. I could run to the bank I guess, that'll take 40 minutes.

Today is my errand day so i'll be on the run. The good news, for me anyway, is that i'm almost finished with 4 sites.. my goal is 7 so i can submit daily next week. Need to make some $$ so i can buy These for the little bar/bbq area i'm making outside instead of fixing my front yard. |jester|

It can't time to get up yet…
Still dealing with this cold but feeling much better. Nothing like morning cold meds hangover and phone calls from the phone company just as I'm tying to open my eyes.

Yesterday I get my phone bill and it has a $80 charge on it for fixing my phone line last month after a tech and mistakenly discounted the phone line going to my house.

After the first tech reconnected my phone back up people who called me got someone's fax machine so a second tech had to come out and found that I had two live lines coming into my house so he disconnected the extra one and all was good.

So the phone company bills me for the second call claiming that the problem was with my internal wiring. I called them and the person that I spoke with refused to remove the charge still claiming that it was my fault that my lines were crossed despite the fact that I only have one phone line and do not own a fax machine. So I ask for their supervisor and am told the same thing so I then ask for the supervisor's supervisor who then tells me that I will need to talk to the tech who came out to my house the second time.

So this morning that tech calls me and says he doesn't understand why I'm being billed since the trouble was outside my house so now I'm waiting for another call from the phone company's business office. Nothing like trying to talk to a phone tech first thing in the morning before morning espresso.

At this point it isn't even about the money I'm just pissed that I'm being billed for something that clearly wasn't my fault.

Anyway I'm awake now and going to go to a BBQ that Angel is having this afternoon. The singer Pepper is in town staying with Angel like she always does and having what is usually a fairly large party at Angel's place. It's another fucking absolutely beautiful day here perfect for a BBG pool party.

Another day with the nose to the grind stone... accountant called this morning to schedule a meeting, so I know this week will go to shit quickly if he is looking to talk to me... good fun!

Taking my girlfriend to a job interview today, they called her out of the blue yesterday and pretty much offered her a job outright, but they do want to interview her. We will see. Hopefully the stars will align right and everything will work out.

After that, i will be back for the daily porn-a-palooza that is being an adult webmaster.

Garbage can update: The emails from my neighhood committee members are flying fast and furious. They are NOT happy with these bins. It is really fun to read them freaking out, mostly because they just don't seem to understand that the city changed everything for the entire area, not just for our street. They are planning a petition and all... I am trying not to laugh. All this because they don't want to have to wheel the big bin outside once a week.

Alex - is having 2 garbage pick-ups a week the norm up there?

We have three special trash bins here. One is for regular trash, one is for recyclables, and one is for yard waste.

Regular trash bin is a big bin on wheels and goes out on Mondays and Wednesdays. Recyclables is a big blue bin and goes out on Wednesdays. Yard waste is a really big bin on wheels and also goes out on Wednesdays.

Plus on the forth Monday of each month we have bulk trash pickup and we are suppose to make two big piles in front of our homes on the street with one pile being yard trimmings and the other being large objects that we are throwing away like furniture and stuff like that.

And the morning just gets better…

I'm in the shower when my power goes out. I know that the man I've hired is trimming the ficus in my backyard so I'm thinking that I'm going to find a dead men in my backyard. Jump out of the shower to see smoke coming from my backyard where the tree branch has fallen on the power lines. The man trimming my tree is fine and oddly the power has come back on and now we are waiting for the electric company to show up. I've actually been trying to get the electric company to trim this tree for months and finally just hired someone. Maybe now they will trim the part of the tree overhanging the power lines.|banghead|

We have those big garbage bins here also and I love them! They pick up twice a week here and you can load those suckers up! Much better than using all those little ones.

That's what we have in rainy California. Except it's once a week pick up for all three on the same day. Why I'm talking about trash, I have no idea...

And it just keeps on getting even fucking better…
Over my neighbor's place down the street now since the fire department had to come to my house, shut off the power to my whole block, and put out the fire that resulted from the downed tree branch that set my brand new fence on fire, the fence between me and my next door neighbor's fence, and also set the palm tree on fire on the neighbor that lives behind me.

Fire department wanted to know why I hadn't called the electric company to trim my tree. |banghead|

So now I've lost about eight feet of my fencing, another eight feet of my neighbor's fence, palm tree in my other neighbor's place, and my whole block is without power. Still no sign of the electric company.

Damn, Cleo, you are going to make me think I am having a good day!

Yeah for some reason it seems that most of you have got something to bitch about... I feel left out.

There's still a shitload of snow that came down on Sunday (that got my HHR stuck at mom and dads), it's melting, making the roads sloppy and the daily half hour commute to work a real pain in the ass.

My boss is being a prick. He didn't believe me when I told him that my vehicle was stuck at my parents farm, so he made a point of driving by my trailer to see if it was out. Then he call me and asks if I got my car out... prick.

I applied for a sales position at the local radio station... hopefully I get it, I won't know anything about it until June. Then I can tell my boss to kiss my hairy white trash ass.

Hope everybody else's day goes a lot smoother.

Greenguy, two times a week has pretty much been the norm here since I can remember. Now they are moving to 1 using automated side loader garbage trucks (hydraulic arm lifts up standard size can and dumps it into the truck) once per week plus blueboxes and once a month for the big stuff.

The problem being that there isn't enough spac without cars parked here to put all the bins, so someone wasn't thinking too straight when they came up with the idea. My local busy body neighbors are hard at work arranging petitions and phone in protests. I swear none of these people have real jobs.

Fonz I seem to remember reading somewhere about frogs that hibernate in winter, which may explain why he was in your basement and dehydrated. Its getting warmer there now I guess? So he was probably ready to come out and find a hot babe to fuck. :D You have helped get in before all the other horny frogs so he will get the pick of the froggy chicks. lol

I wish there was regular recycling here citywide. It's quite limited where I live, and at our new studio (Decarie), it doesn't exist at all.
I dont need to be rewarded with a nickle for recycling my bottles, I'd gladly recycle everything if it were possible.

Woke up this morning, flipped on the computer....it wouldn't boot. It tried to boot, numerous times. To make a long story short, dragged it down to the guy that just rebuilt it after I fried my mother board to find that the partition information for my C drive had been fucked with. I suspect a website I clicked on yesterday, that Norton popped up and warned of trojans. Soooo he replaced the drive, re-installed windows, now I'm reinstalling all my programs. Again. Oh fucking joy. |banghead|

At least data drives are ok, I lost very little except all the time to install the 30 odd programs I need.

Decided to take a break and tell you how my day is going. Looks like others are having a hard day too.

Fire took out my cable modem but my backup ADSL is working just fine.

The woman that lives behind me called all pissed off because she has no phone or cable. Not sure why she is pissed at me. She should be pissed off at the electric company that doesn't trim the trees around the electric lines. I know I'm pissed off at them since the fire took out about six or so feet of my brand new fence.

They did come out and remove the two branches that was over the power lines in my backyard but refused to remove the branches that are in the power lines in the backyard next door to me.

Celo, tell Angel's friend Pepper that I have enjoyed listening to the music on her site.

My brother is a tree trimmer for one of the power companies up here. Sounds like your power company is a peice of shit when it comes to taking care of that kind of stuff. My brother is always telling me about some of the jobs he has to do, he's got more balls than I do, haha. He came over one day a few months back saying that he wanted to see me because he was afraid that he might die doing the job he had to do the next day. Luckily he is still alive and kicking.

The rest of our pond is filled with fat humping frogs swimming around in heaps and heaps of frog eggs. Our basement is like a bunker with no way out so I doubt he was ready to go do some frog banging himself :D
