MrYum 2006-09-18 11:24 AM

Woot! I survived another week!

Dunno about the Crown Royale bag Doc...it didn't seem to work too well :(

But, those boobies are looking mighty tasty :D

Ramster 2006-09-18 11:52 AM

Holy picks Batman, week 3 might be a tough call. ;)

Jim 2006-09-18 11:56 AM

yep, I'm out :)
It was hard...I wanted to see Buffalo win and I hate Miami. But, my plan was to go against Buffalo as long as I could.

At least you will be able to see a game at home next week, Greenie. I do sense a Buffalo mutilation coming though :)

I'll see you a barely-used Crown Royal bag and raise you some foolishly followed advice:

You people will eventually learn that, when it comes to football:
1 - never bet on a Bills game
B - do the opposite of what I tell you (except for the above)

Chop Smith 2006-09-22 12:04 AM

Interesting picks for the Shits & giggles.. either Baltimore or Miami and we all can be eliminated.

hehe I noticed that too...it's gonna be an interesting day tomorrow

good luck everyone!
(and by everyone, I mean me :D)

Preacher 2006-09-23 08:28 PM

Looks like I'll be rooting for the Titans then. :D

Chop Smith 2006-09-23 08:46 PM

The most interesting pick is GG's. He knows better. :D

I root for the aints but I did not even pick them in the Vegas pool.

Good luck GG and everyone else.

Deal the cards Dr B. We will advance or die together.

1st home game since Katrina - Monday Night Football - Reggie Bush & Drew Brees? That can't loose!

It's my LOCK OF THE WEEK |couch|

They'll definitely be pumped for the game |thumb

But...against the Falcons...that's gonna be a tough win for NO.

Geez, and here I thought I was sooo clever picking Miami :D

Ramster 2006-09-23 10:52 PM

The Saints have been good this year. I don't understand why noone is taking them with the QB they have the the new rookie RB. I like them to win this weekend.

Chop Smith 2006-09-24 12:44 AM

I agree, Ramster. I will be glued to the set cheering them on, but it is kind of like GG is with Buffalo. I would never bet on them.

Maj. Stress 2006-09-24 01:31 AM

The Monday night game is just to close to call IMO. One thing is certain, that dome will be rockin. :)

Bravo Greenie! You just earned a new level of respect from me.
Game kicks off at 7:30 pm. I'm leaving here about 8 am heading for the Big Easy. It's a 45 minute drive from here, so I'll get there in time for the parties to start. Many started Friday, but they'll only get bigger as the game draws closer.

One point you forgot to mention in your reasoning though..sold out Dome to Season Ticket holders. That's gonna be huge. Zero fan base for Atlanta.
There have been several news reports locally advising ear plugs for the game, noting that the noise level in the dome may drop to 90 decibels, but will remain at or above that level for the entire game. Ah well, I'll be deaf and mute for a few weeks...

Ramster 2006-09-24 04:21 PM

Jets won. I'm a bit stunned. Chicago got lucky to end it with a win. I had Miami in a lot of pools and they pulled away with a too-close-for-comfort win.

Wow, watching the Giants/Seattle game right now as I type this. Bad call first play of the game and Seattle didn't challenge. Now Manning is picked. Odd start.

Green Bay won which I doesn't surprise me. How can Detroit be a 6.5 pt favorite? Their lineup is terrible. LOL

plateman 2006-09-24 07:18 PM

dam the stupid play before stover kicked a 55yarder to win the game and let me advance, I like I said before on the radio show, that I been a browns fan since cleve is a 60 miles from me, and been rooting them for 25years and the first time I bet agaist them they almost fucked me....rotten cocksuckers, but they lost|bananna|

Emerald 2006-09-24 07:21 PM

I sat and watched the CNN NFL scores page and refreshed over and over... the last 20 seconds was brutal... but Baltimore finally beat them.. looks like all the shits and giggles peeps are in for next week!|thumb

I had to turn it off... football stress! |shocking|

amadman 2006-09-24 08:58 PM

Damn... All the Browns had to do was kick a field goal and they would have clinched the game. But Nooooo.|catfight|

Ramster 2006-09-24 09:23 PM

I would have liked to see the Browns win. 235 people had them of the 590 people left in my big pool here. I had Miami which was close too.

Miami was too damn close!

But, they pulled it out and I survived another week |thumb

That's huge on a lot of levels - sold out for the season (except for a couple of boxes that are probably just as over-priced as they are here)

I'm exhausted after this past weekend, so I think I'll watch the 6 hours of pre-game shows that ESPN puts on every Monday |thumb

FanTC 2006-09-25 10:45 AM

And out the door I go to the Big Easy..

Hey Greenie, Enjoy the game. I'll be the long hair with the black and gold from head to toe.

All together now... Who Dat?

Cya on the other side, although I'll be deaf and mute for awhile.
