Whats your favorite video game?
What is yoiur favorite video game of all time? And what about video game series?
I think my favorite video game of all time is probably Conkers bad fur day on the n64. Now as far as series there is nothing that can top the Splinter Cell Series. |
ahh.. difficult question.
Favourite games come and go.. but the game i've been playing the longest would be starcraft by blizzard. R |
For today: Joker Poker @ the Palms :D
|
Life is just a video game to me…
|
My hubby and I enjoy playing World of Warcraft; but will be changing to LoTR when it comes out. |bananna|
|
Back in the days of the SNES & N64 I played quite a lot of video games. Never into pc games though.
Mario Bros 3 on the NES, and Super Mario World on the SNES, then Super Mario 64 on the N64 were sublime video games. Those that said they were for kids.....pah! Goldeneye on the N64 still plays better than most first-person shooting games, and my all time favourite is Perfect Dark, again on the N64. Then again I haven't played much for years. :) |
My favorite games are the Donkey Kong Country series and the Mario Bros Series for SNES.
Awhile ago I pulled out the SNES from a box in the basement for my son (he's 4 1/2) to play and I find myself playing my old favorties from time to time. |

LOL Who the fuck has time for video games? I'm bustin' my hump building a free site a day trying to get the rent paid. I guess I go way back with the answer to your question....Frogger.....never defeated level 5 :D Shit, that was like 20 years ago when I had an Apple II.
|
i'm from the old school. Atari, nes, etc. Favorite game is prolly dragon warrior. I do like FF2 and other snes games though.
|
I used to be an all fantasy freak but the one game I always keep playing between the different fantasy games is Gran Turismo 3
|
Nebulus on the amiga was a nice game, who remembers the amiga, that was a kickass machine, and before that even, the C64, I loved it! Those long waits while the tape player would load the games in. Those where the days when video games really meant something |loony|
These days though got a modded xbox and Need for speed carbon is where its at, thats a kick ass racer ) |
I played Ghost´n´Gobblins for hours on my SX64 http://www.sx64.net/.
Still got it and playing sometimes with friends and beers! :) /Thomas |
Of all time I could not really choose.
On the C64 I spent many many hours on the Ultima games and D&D ones like Pool of Radiance. Currently I play God Of War which is a pretty tight game. |
I'll ask the kids, I don't play them.
Madden 07 currently, I don't think they have attention spans long enough to have a favorite. |
WoW, and a similar one for the Dune freaks!
Also been playing some Savage from S2-Games which is MarcDe's pet! |
hands down it had to be boogerman
ok game play entertaining graphics unique idea spaz |
i've been playing world of warcraft for almost 2 years now. first game i've really goten into. but its been taking up to much time so i'm quiting |cry| time to work more and make some money

|
For me I've gotta go with Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time (N64) and Final Fantasy VII (PS1). Currently I'm busting my ass through Dragon Quest VIII and eagerly anticipating Final Fantasy XII.
|
A little late to the party but I've been busy...
Fanboy Mode -> Samurai Showdown 1 (arcade version) Kid Mode -> Rygar (arcade version) |
Tekken 3 & HOMM 3 Complete for PC :)
|

|
Black, Project Snowblind, and Area 51.
I've only done one Splinter Cell, it was pretty good. can't play the online games... |
Thats a tough one. I have a few, Q-Bert, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Pac Man & Ms Pac Man to name a few.
Almost forgot Night Stalker, Tron, Burger Time and Pitfall on the Intellivision. |
I played Elite non-stop for 36 hour stretches at a time back in the 80s.
Was unbeatable on Galaxians and International Track & Field Rollercoaster Tycoon was fun for a while Used to play FIFA Football (Soccer), but stopped when they changed the controls after FIFA 98 RttWC Now I play games like Outrun 2006 Coast To Coast, World Championship Poker and the Burnout series on the XBox when time permits |
The good old Transport Tycoon DeLuxe - love uilding the roads 'n channels and watching those cities grow from 2 houses to megapolis
|
I played SWG for over 3 years now and the account just ran out 4 days ago but for some reason I can still log on an play. I played that game more then any in my life but have stopped do to changes and how they screwed my game. Recently I have been playing Caesar IV and it's ok. I get bored of them fast. If I had to pick one that I have played over and over it's C&C generals zero hour. Not much of a console player, once they came out with controllers that had more then 3 buttons I was lost.

Back in the day when you actually had to leave your home in order to play: Defender.
For the short while I borrowed a PS2 it was GT3 hands down. And when I'll get a dirt cheap PS2 (hopefully 4 Christmans), cause $600 4 a PS3 is way out of my league, I think it'll be GT4. My absolute favorite though was a little thing called Galaga...|headbang| God the money I wasted on that thing...|loony
SIMS...that's the only game I play...and also Tekken 5...Julia Chang's my fave character...also love NFS and I'm mastering NFS Carbon...the newest installment...
|
EA FIFA Football (Soccer) ... each one that comes out I got to have it and EA Betlefield 1942 ... guess I'm EA fan :-)
|
My favorite? A game from my mispent youth... ZaXXon
I think I just aged myself |doh
Mostly retro 'round these parts, it seems ;)
Can't say I don't agree. Cheers to the Intellivision (hah Tron - both the mazey one and the "deadly disks" one) and C64 shoutouts (hahah ZaXXon). You guys go to any video game sites or magazines? Given that you guys are a generally smart bunch, you might like http://www.escapistmagazine.com. They write rather well and it's less NEWS & REVIEWS and more intelligent discussion and analysis. I'm a fan |thumb |
