Fonz, I think having a cold and napping a good part of the day might be the reason for waking up so early. I am going to attempt to stay awake all day today and not go to bed at 8 PM. I will see how that works :)

Should be a somewhat productive day today... hopefully.

I read an article yesterday about the Flu Pandemic of 2007 saying that they were going to start ranking Flu Pandemic's similar to Hurricane Warnings. A Category 5 Flu would close schools for 3 months.

Hopefully everyone that is feeling ill gets better soon and hopefully those traveling have short lines and no missed connections. I hear there is some sort of game going on this weekend.

I almost forgot about the game this weekend. My number 2 son invited us last year thinking he would have a HiDef Big TV this year. Since he didn't get one all year, we bought him a nice DLP for Christmas. It should be fun...the first time we have been invited to his house. :)

Almost back to normal here.. took rug dawg for a haircut yesterday... then went to see Smokin' Aces while my house was being cleaned of Germs ... It wasn't so easy on my virus weakened stomach so I left about 1/2 way through it but Da Dawg loved it.. lotza blood, guts and gore.

Vegas is expecting about 300K tourists by Sunday to grace the strip.. maybe we'll have some Spill off in "bear"ville.

The RV is gonna probably get set up at my favorite parking lot (at the government building) on St Charles right on the parade route although we usually end up sharing it with a few sororities from LSU (damn drunk party girls) :)

going out to a nice buffet dinner tonite for my son's birthday and it's the last year he gets it for half price so I told him to stuff himself enough for a week hehe. I can't believe how much time has passed since he went from a literal handful to a figurative one. I feel old |cry|

Put on CNN. Lots of cement buildings destroyed too. Some pretty scary stuff. Tornados scare me a lot more then hurricanes. It is rare that we get tornadoes in south Florida but they do seem to hit central Florida far too often.

I cant get myself in gear today. Even though this cold I have seems to have gotten a bit better today, I was still up half the night with this damn nagging cough. Its not even like I am coughing my brains out, just constantly coughing a little all the time.

Gonna be chopping movie clips all day today, and probably a good portion of the weekend. Other than that I've got nothing new, hope everyone has a great day and weekend.

I think they are talking about American Football with the entire American continent being represented. I don't know who the teams are from Canada, Mexico, Columbia, Peru, etc. Maybe its just North American Football...

And, I believe the players think the game should be shorter because they always quit 30 seconds before the clock runs out. I guess some men just can't go the distance. :)

I kid, I kid. I'll be watching the game, well, watching the commercials with the game in between. I wonder if someone will market a downloadable DVD of the superbowl commercials.
