Good Morning and Merry Christmas Eve
Or, Happy Holidays :)

Since we kind of got tired of cooking for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we started celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve a few years ago. So, today is the day for us. Tomorrow is set aside to just let a breath out and relax.

I do have to call DHL to find out what the hell happened to a few gifts we are still waiting for. They seem to lose at least one every year.

Back to doing some porn for the next 2 weeks. Got a Christmas dinner with the family tonight and after that I'm going to hook up with some friends to do the drinking game again.

Wife called me yesterday to see if I would mind her working for a couple of the girls at her work today and tomorrow, I was thrilled.
Just doesn't feel like Christmas without the kids, were going to California next year to spend it with them.

Spending the day prepping stuff to cook tomorrow morning, working on mainstream, and pondering that age old question, "What would Jesus do?".

Nothing much on schedule today besides a bicycle ride followed by a Jeep drive around the island to pick up some supplies. Not much traffic and no crowded stores (no malls at all) here, so it should just be a day of wishing the people I see today a happy holidays (which could include Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, Rohatsu, Yule, Winter Solstice, Serving of the Seasons, Three Kings Day, Boxing Day, Festivus, and the Whirling Dervishes Festival--oh yeah, and of course Merry Christmas).

Wishing the same to everyone here, even if you celebrate none of those and something else instead or nothing at all.

Morning - been up all night - need to sleep so I can drink a bit tonight....

I'm really sore from yesterday's round of tree trimming and there are now huge piles of cuttings curbside for today's bulk trash pickup.

Christine is driving up to spend today with her relatives and I'm planning a quiet day here of resting and doing a little work.

Morning..

I ended up not going out at all yesterday.. so I have to leave the house by 7am this morning in order to avoid the crowds. I just can't put this off until next week.. dammit.. and I'd order from Amazon if i could.. I'm not above gifting late!! after all we have 3 Kings day approaching.

Maybe next year I should plan a big ass party here in Vegas for all the people I know who really don't have family anymore or try to avoid them. I used to do that in NYC -- we'd all get together and Eat, Drink and Be Merry..

Soooo to those who start celebrating on Christmas Eve..Have a Warm and Joyous day... to those of us who would rather sleep through until Jan. 6... Have a very $afe and productive day.

Went to bed early and got a much needed good sleep. Work today, maybe a few small errands and maybe some egg nog tonight. :)

Good midday from holland:) its 3:19 midday here and i am busy getting the things ready for tomorrow christmas day, i cant do all because the kids are still hanging around in the house so i guess it will be a late evening for me.
I am still sick (having the flu) but with a ton of asprine and noselspray i will get thru this day.

Happy xxxMas eve! Just dropped the lady off at the airport awhile ago and have been on the phone trying to wrap things up before it's time to get over to the stadium for the Chargers game. People I tailgate with have a nice spread that will be getting done up. :) Also did my avatar up as xmas spawn. I'm so in the spirit. hehe. Hope everyone has a great xmas eve. Oh, just remembered gotta pop over to a place before the game to pick up a present. Glad I remembered.

When the hell is Xmas going to get here? I'm bored with it already and I'm ready for Santa to come tumbling down my chimney, crawl out of my hot water heater, and move the kids' presents from my closet to our lovely new artificial tree. I'm beginning to like that tree so much, I may not even take it down after the holidays. I was thinking of sliding it over to the corner and pinning fake flowers to it for the warmer months. Who wouldn't want a rare Blooming Pine in their house?

I have nothing special planned today. I may go the mall and sip coffee while walking slowly in order to piss off all of the rushing maniac last minute shoppers. I need to do something to aggravate others in order to get me into the holiday spirit.

Ho Ho Ho All. Santa is on his merry way Pork Tenderloin is on and Im headed out in the madness. The woman who has probably had 4 drinks in her life, my mother, decided she wants Bloody Mary's for Christmas morning , so it's off to the Liquor store for some VOKKA!

Afternoon all -
I had originally planned on today and tomorrow at the cabin. Went out to the cabin this morning with the two boys, only to find our next door neighbors had 8 more in laws than they had room for.
No biggy, I left the kids there so they could snowmobile, and I came back into town.
I'll run back out there tomorrow morning, and by noon, most of them will have gone home.
They clean up, vacuum, wash and change the sheets so I really don't mind. That, and the fact that I've known them since I was born, so it's not like I can kick them out. :D

Looks like a quiet night for me. Maybe a DVD or something.

I had a nice hell-like day. Went to my Dad's & exchanged gifts (I got something I'll never use |thumb) & then I had a nice little episode that put me in bed for 4 hours. Feeling a bit better now - celebrating with The Bitch & our girls tonight :)
