Fought getting up since before 4am and finally gave up an hour later and made some coffee instead. Not the kind of cold you get up in the northern mainland, but it's day two of cooler weather with strong winds and rain. Basically our version of winter.

What the fuck am I doing up this early? I really need to start getting more sleep.

Went to bed just after The L Word but then got a phone call from one of my friends who broke up with her boyfriend and stayed on the phone with her for a few hours so didn't get to sleep until way after midnight.

Watched the movie Provoked yesterday which I found very captivating.

Doing the gym this morning and then my friend from last wants to see a movie and hit the malls. Guess sometime today I should also try to get some work done.

It has been snowing here on and off for the last 3 days and its still snowing right now- there was a 100 car pile up on the main highway that leads up north yesterday (nothing unusual about that - there seems to be a bad accident on that highway all the time) at least no one was killed this time it was just virtually a wrecking yard with lots of squished cars. Highway was closed for at least 15 hours for cleanup.

I think we will be on snow removal duty all day since its coming down right now pretty hard and the snow plow has left us a 4 foot snow bank at the end of the driveway!

Happy Monday. I have to drive all over SoCal for meetings with my content guys/gals. Just another 18 hour day :). If my surfers knew how hard I work. They would be showering me with gifts on the holidays.

Greenguy and I are not happy this morning. We both got knocked out of the big football pool here. Started with 656 people and we got down to the last 15. There are 2 happy lucky guys this morning though since 13 lost out and only 2 guys took the underdog Chargers against the spread. They'll be splitting $118,000.

Payroll day today. and we are shopping the MLK furniture sales. I have a dream for a new bed and my back will be very appreciative.

Not unexpectedly..there is much confusion here after the caucus on Saturday. it seems that Billary won popular vote but Obama got 1 more delegate than she did. Now there are stories of precincts not having any workers and closing early so that people who were scheduled from 9-11..got there at 930am to find the ballot casting was over. Also in some of the places set up in the casinos, Billary workers were passing out 'voting books' and Obama union supporters were harassing those who were supporting the other 2 candidates.

I'm sure this is going to be a very very messy election.

Morning All. It ended up beatutiful out yesterday, so we got our shelves finished and painted. So today we mount them in my office. Can't wait to throw away the pos pressboard bookshelf I have in here that is falling apart. :D

Yesterday, I also finished with converting Hot Porn For Women over to DragonLinks. It was my last LL I needed to do.

Today will be shelf hanging and work. I need to stumble down the hall and get some coffee so I can wake up. Have a good one all.

It's friggin' cold outside, but that's fine because I plan on staying inside next to this nice warm computer.

The wife and I went to see the band Mr. Greengenes Saturday night with her friends. Now, her friends are huge fans of that band and rave about how good they are. They're a fucking cover band! How can you be a big fan of a cover band? That's like idolizing a karaoke singer to me. Don't get me wrong, as far cover bands go, they're good. But certainly not worth $20 a head. And to be shoved in to that old barn with 400 other assholes, shoulder to shoulder - no thank you. I'll pass on the next invite. When I go out, I want to relax and have a conversation; not stand for three hours being elbowed and pushed by strangers. I must be getting old.

Morning all. It's a little rainy here today. Going to knock out a little work and the because my lady has luther king day off I'll be taking the afternoon off to go out to a nice lunch and then probs take in a movie.

I love lazy days. Tomorrow going to be super busy as I have a meeting in Chatsworth but today will be nice.

Good evening all:) it feels like spring here while its winter, the temps are to high in holland.
Pretty busy those days, had to deal with the schools of my kids, some evoluation talk about how they do at school and how they behave..........bad news ofcourse, well on the behaviour part then, they do good with learning, i only get mad on the fact they asked me again if my kids have the same dad, because they are so different (they dont even believe they are brother and sister).........how do you wanna insult me, sure my daughter dont look like she is mine, i have black hair , brown eyes, i look more like a gipsy (or however you name that), she is high blonde and blue eyes (like my hubby), but she has my behaviour, oke my son looks like me but has the behaviour of my hubby:D, still dont fucking nag to me after 3 months of bad behaviour of my daughter, i told them to phone me if she misbehave, so not my fault.
Other then that i will have some important biz meetings this week which need all of my attention!
I am trying to get my ass back where it belongs here in bizz, so lett me do that and you all have a great day and eve!

I know the feeling when it comes to cover bands and women haha. I used to take my old lady to shows all the time and she would always raved about the cover bands because they played her favorite songs. I guess its easy to please the masses when all you play is someone else's proven platnium hits.

Been busy all morning getting my stuff together for taxes. My husband has all his stuff and wants to get it over with. We can claim our grandson as a dependent which will help cut some of what we are going to owe.....|cry| |banghead|


Great game last night though I was cheering for the Packers, but it didn't really matter. I don't think they will beat the Pats in the superbowl though.

My bed is calling my name guess that means a nap :D

The cold is finally coming to an end again in a couple of days. Poor gulls are prolly staving to death. I better get my schedule turned back around by the time it warms back up. Sleeping late is killing me, plus I wind up having breakfast for lunch.

....Good morn to everyone.....we are building more shelves, and installing them today! This is another project that we have been putting off....and it is kinda' fun, now that we're started! I have got to be the worst carpenter in the US....but Ginny's guidance will get us through this! :-)

Does that mean I get the day off? LOL

Lots to do today - cold as hell out and snowing but I'll force myself to work anyway.
