Good Morning Everyone

Yeah it's Friday |bananna| another week of winter over and done with, it feels like winter has dragged on and on this year, looking forward to Spring. I think I have the winter blues today....

Another hot one here. What is this thing called winter?

Just another mundane day on this sand bar of work and play.

Good morning everyone |waves|

well I lost a whole week to this stupid flu bug going around, it's the worst one I've seen in years. On the plus side, I lost a few pounds but I'm sure I'll take care of that in the next couple of weeks :)

I don't even know where to start getting back into things, but I guess I'll give it a shot.

have a good day
:)

Lots of the white stuff on the ground now. And looking like more to come. Enjoy your day everyone. |waves|

Good morning world |waves|

Same here, Cleo.

It's already 78 which feels like 84 and going up to a high of 83 which is supposed to feel like 95 degrees. Can you say way too friggin much humidity? Need the a/c on already just to prep the house for when it gets too hot later.

Wishing any and all the Friday you really want to have.

:)

I'm guessing that we are going to have a fun and exciting hurricane season this year due to the temps already being so warm.

Good Friday People |buddy|

I'm still not over Jonny Fairplay getting himself booted from Survivor on the 1st show :( Good thing I have Yau-Man in the pool :D

More of my stats today & then Yell & I are going to watch our Sabres play Boston (the hockey team, not the band)

Evil Chris 2008-02-08 10:24 AM

damn you Greenie. Some of us DVR'd Survivor last night!
I was at the Leafs/Habs game.

Leafs won. :)

JustRobert 2008-02-08 10:25 AM

Yes, it was in the 70's here as well and was beautiful! :D Hopefully today will be just as nice.

Got a fairly big project completed yesterday, now I'm to the next one. |loony| Might take tonight off though...maybe.

bDok 2008-02-08 10:43 AM

Morning. Totally forgot to DVR survivor. doh! Was so caught up in just watching Lost. That show I think I need to have two to watch at a time. Watching one isn't a good enough fix for me. Won't happen because the lady needs to watch them the night of though.

Today just more of the same. Going to be putting together more galleries and working on more templates for members areas and templates for other programs. I think today some templates will see some php being run through them after I put together the proper CSS files for stuff.

Need to clean the place too as some guests are coming into town.

Have a goood friday. |cheers|

Morning!

Been a long week and I'm glad it's almost over!

Simon and Cleo I agree with you on the weather! I'm up the coast so it is actually a little cooler here today.

Staying home today to get things ready for my daughters baby shower which is tomorrow.

Hopefully next week I can get back into my normal routine.

Have a great day and nice weekend all |thumb

docholly 2008-02-08 10:59 AM

Morning..
Haven't said this in a long time..i'm off to the Swap meet today. Have to p/u some stuff I sold from the now ex-boytoy. should be interesting.

I have to figure out how to make an adjustment to my cobbled together MSAccess script today so my database is more robust.. and probably will have to go to the post office later today.

otherwise nothing much else to report.

Have a good TGIF.. tho i never knew anyone who worked on the web that had regular weekends off. |thumb

I watched Survivor & recorded CBC so that I could watch the big Toronto/Montreal game this afternoon.....but now you've ruined it for me!|angry|

That does bring up a good point - I hate not being able to talk about shows that I've watched live, but I hate it when people talk about shows that I have not yet watched |crazy|

hashbury 2008-02-08 11:04 AM

That reminds me - I need to head to Lowes and pick up some more rock salt for my ice-covered sidewalks. |banghead| I know, when you Californians hear ice and salt in the same sentence, you think Margarita. Damn you and your perfect weather. Damn you all! :D

I'm still in lust with that Parvati chick. I think the wife and I agreed that James and Parvati are the most attractive potential-couple on reality tv. Way better than that douchey Boston Rob and cunty Amber anyway.

RedCherry 2008-02-08 11:28 AM

Morning All. Another beautiful day in paradise before we are once again living on the sun. High of 60, bright and sunny, perfect for my afternoon project which for the past few days has been pulling weeds that took over our yard after rain a month ago. I love this weather, not so hot that you are roasting working in the yard, not so cold that you are freezing. :D

This morning I'm getting work done on the sites, then back out in the yard this afternoon. Still have a bit of cold, but not slowing me down too much thankfully. Have a good one all.

stuveltje 2008-02-08 12:05 PM

Good evening all:) yes its evening here!
We had a nice high temp day for a winter, btw we will have the same temp for this weekend, but i wont lett me tricked by this high temp weather, i know the month februar can be a realy bad winter month, even spring will start here in about 5 weeks.
On this moment i am going thru my domains, checking which i still own and which got dropped. At the same time i am talking with some dutch friends about a dutch bizz idea i have, i need info and advice, so a busy eve and weekend it will be for me.|shocking|
So that will leave me by wishing you all a great day and eve and weekend:)

Licker4U 2008-02-08 12:11 PM

Ugh, too much booze and drugs last night, gonna be a rough day as my son wants me to do the gym thing with him.

NY Jester 2008-02-08 12:20 PM

Hey all, bee a week of FLU and colds. Trying to get into the swing. Fairplay left Survivor in a weird twist last night..I didnt understand what went on. Tune in next week..when Yau strong arms another unwitting contestant HAHAH

terry 2008-02-08 01:26 PM

Good Morning.. well Afternoon Everyone.
Now the sun is shinning.. but its still real cold out. Was snowing a bit this morning but apparently the weekend is when the snow will fall.
Have a great day!

Someone is going to have to explain to me why a Lowes in FUCKING Upstate NY would have already switched their seasonal department over to grass seed and weed killer in February when they still have 15 foot snowbanks in their own parking lot. What the fuck, over? We have almost two months of snow left here. What do these idiots think they'd sell more of, grass seed or rock salt? |banghead|

My sidewalks shall remain covered with ice. Wear your goddamn ice skates if you're planning a stroll down Harrison Avenue.

Greenguy 2008-02-08 02:53 PM

I heard that grass seed is an environmentally friendly substitute for rock salt.

This isn't Vermont. I want to sprinkle bucket after bucket of salt on my sidewalks while not worrying about the water table or the trees or the squirrels.

If someone slips out there, I'm dragging them over to my neighbor's yard.

Jim 2008-02-08 03:10 PM

We recently got a village sidewalk salter. Kind of nice but it seems to throw salt and sand all over the snowbanks and thus...the grass. :)

For the same reasons you can't buy bathing suits in Miami in August. the dumb shites in purchasing and merchandising in the "corporate" office have no clue as to when the REAL seasons start and finish.
