The 2008 XBiz Summer Forum is just over 3 months away (July 9-11)

This is the only convention/seminar/event that I actually register for & attend, thus I make a big deal of it here on the board :)

If you plan to attend, please post the dates you'll be there as well as where you're staying. Example:
Greenguy & The Bitch - July 8-15 - Hard Rock/Venetian
(yes, The Bitch & I are staying a couple extra days to gamble)

Once I get info from a couple of people, I'll put a page like this one online, which will be updated as people add their name to the list & finalized with printable versions a week before the event.

Also, if you are going, help me out & let me know What Seminars/Workshops Would You Like To See?

We are planning to be there, we will be making our arrangements next week.

I plan on being there, waiting to see if my wife can take the days off.

I'll be there, I plan on hitching a ride with TekAngel :D

I'll be there. Finalizing the details but it looks like I'll be arriving July 6th. My daughter is in Myrtle Beach dancing until then so I'll be flying from there. Makes no sense to fly home then to Vegas, may as well go early and gamble.

I'll be checking in the 8th and checking out the 12th, unless my wife flies in like she'd like to on the 11th, then I'll have to change hotels and stay a couple of more days.

I'll be there. Still working out where I'll be staying and the dates. The weekend of that show I have a wedding to be at so depending on when and where I need to be on Friday kinda will be a factor. I'll be there though. Looking forward to this one.

Just think - you can ask for - even DEMAND - a non-smoking room :D

As of right now, looks like I may not be going, |cry|however I do believe a representative of some sort from Eroticy and Swappernet will be there. I am however planning on being at Internext and SwingFest in Miami.:D Looking forward to meeting a few of you!

Staci - here's another tip: if you're not going to the event, don't post in a thread that is specifically for those that are going to the event.

There's 6000+ members on this board - can you imagine if the 5950 that are not going posted?

Still don't know if the wife is coming or not, but I will be there. Made reservations: Hard Rock Hotel, July 8-12. :D

Toni KatVixen and I will be there from July 8 to July 11 staying at the Hard Rock.

Were getting a puppy towards the end June, the wife's freeked out about leaving it with friends.
I'm an early riser so I'll hit Vegas before the show starts and head home after the fun and games on the last day.
We can still ride together if you shorten your stay |huh

I am not. Financially, with the little bit of money I am making right now I can't justify it but I am aiming to be there next year. It sounds like a lot of fun.

I am finally booked at the Hard Rock until the 12th. I'm also registered, good deal being free and all. :)

I registered and I'll be there, but I'm just gonna stay at my house since its only 6 miles from the Hard Rock :)

Anyone got the confirmation after registering? It said 5 to 7 days, but I know it has been a more than 7 days since I registered.

It's looking good for The Walrus. I'll be staying at a friends but plan on arriving on the morning of the 9th and probably leave on the 12th.

Wow it sounds like fun, once I've been in this biz abit longer I'll make sure Im coming along to these type of events to meet everybody!

got mine as well. Thought the same thing Torn in that it didn't mention even my name in the email. I swear if I show up and they try to give me so line about not being registered I'm going to flip out. Actually now that I'm thinking about it... I'm going to put in a phone call later in the week to make sure they have my name actually on some list and what information I'll need present with me to make sure I'm not SOL.

Lemme know if you do, I was expecting an email saying "ok, you're confirmed! Now enter all your detailed information here..."

Because what I recall -- my memory is shit though -- the registration form was generic with only a couple of fields and I don't recall a field where I said my badge name should read Preacher.

They had a space for company name, real name, and badge name if I recall correctly. I registered both Toni and I within a few minutes of each other and I still only have 1 email that tells me "someone" is registered, who exactly I do not know so this could be fun.

I got a confirmation with my name on it. About 2 weeks after registering ..Chuckster got a refund on his Amex saying it was free. KEWL. I logged in today to change the "badge name" to my board name so I dont' have peeps saying "who the fuck is PK??" and it said I had to PAY again.

soooo.. i'll just be PK at Xbiz.. :D
