As a parent I find it absolutely incredible that any parent would allow their child to be photographed like this, and even more incredible that they would allow these pics to be posted on an internet site which charges people to go and look at the pics.

Are they so totally ignorant of what is going on in the world around them? Who do they think is going to buy a subscription to a site full of scantily clad young girls.

The whole mentality of child models, beauty pagents and all of the other exploitative crap that goes on in America (having said that I am sure it goes on elsewhere, its just such a big thing in the states) makes me sick! Kids should be out playing, not posing and teasing like mini adults on catwalks and on websites.

(I came across one of these so called 'model' sites a couple of weeks ago, and by backing out of it ended up at some 'not so innocent' sites, all from European countries. I reported them to ASCAP and was told that whilst these sites were questionable they were not illegal in those countries and they couldnt touch them.
WTF!! )

So while governments are cracking down on pornography, there are thousands of these young kids being primped, preened, displayed and exploited under the guise of 'modelling' and 'beauty pagents'. Who is looking out for them?

believe it or not this crap is legal. i saw an article on-line on yahoo or somewhere, about childsupermodels the biggest site of this type. however, you got him if he really did submit it to you himself, and not someone trying to set him up. the reason for this is that the site with the young girls are legal only because it is technically not for sexual gratification and to promote the girl as a model. so if he submitted the site to a porn link list he fucked himself completely. so i would say if you have his ip etc, and can prove its him then, you have cracked these bastards once and for all, let the FBI know what you have i am sure they would be interested.|skull|

Yeah, seeing that shit just reminds me of how their are some really sick people in this world. Worst part about that content is technically, I believe it is legal and not considered CP. So far as I know, a child modeling in her underwear or even nude can be considered "art" under the law. It is when children pose sexually provocatively or engage in sexual acts, real or simulated that it becomes CP.

Either way, I hate all that shit and know content like that only serves to fuel the sick passions of pedophiles. Very sad that people feel the need to promote sites like that.

I just can not belive this fucking shit! Being a mum myself what sort of mother allows her daughter to be photographed in this way. Surely there is something we can all do as this reflects badly on all of us? Isn't there someone we can report this terrible site too? As I said this reflects badly on all the rest of us adult webmasters. If my neighbours were to know that I did this for a living I would be ousted, all because you tell them you are an adult webmaster and that shit is what they think we do. As I said I have two wonderful children a boy age 12 and a girl aged 13.

I saw an Oprah episode about these sites. The parents, uncle (her photographer), and girl herself... all of them sat there and defended it all - even in the face of their own stats which say that ~70% of their members are men over 35 (forgive me if these stats are slightly wrong). They even had themselves lulled into the false sense of security that if they kept their details off the site that no-one would be able to find out their real name and address. It took a five second whois to find out that this claim was total bullshit... These people are so mind numbingly naive that they defy description |chainsaw|

i am not gonna look at it, ...not....., there was a time i was more busy reporting this kind of stuff then working on my sites, because i am outside us, i get submits who redirect me to cp and all and made me almost stop my own bizz, since i got my own blacklist its better, i still report and i am glad that people post urls so i can blacklist them without to look at it.........cant handle that, i am a mom of a 9 and a 6 year old so.... i dont have to explain my thoughts|bigfuckin

Stuveltje...you are correct...if parents did what they accepted responsibility for when they had children...most problems we have in our biz would not have happened...the scrutiny just wouldnt be there...and loads of children wouldnt be exploited by parents....of course its happened since long before the internet...there used to be magazines(probably still are) that sold under the guise of natural sun living and contained hundreds of posing nude children...and Im talking under 10 yrs old...been around for at least 50 years ... and Im not saying its right cause its not. I have reported numerous cases of cp to ASACP submitted to our list and recieved back thanks many times from the FBI and other agencies...and love the support of ASACP(ok little free advertising here) cause they tend to try to clear up the differences between the scum and the people that try to make a living at this legally and they do it in big ways in major media articles etc. I always recommend even doing the paid support of them to make sure they can keep doing what they are doing.

With the advent of the internet, as well as the swapover from BBS's to web pages by alot of people there were loads of people I knew that got caught up in some problems due to not being able to discern the performers ages...and they ended up spending alot of money to protect themselves when they hadnt done anything wrong to their knowledge....now with the 2257 rules, we have pretty clear rules to follow in the US, unfortunately it doesnt apply in most other countries.

Recently there has been some movement between some of the European countries and the US to be able to prosecute people overseas and it is definitely growing.
As was mentioned here though....the people fighting cp have to draw a line, otherwise they would get overwhelmed and not be as effective as they are with the hardcore cp sites (and they do get excellent results)
