It's Christine's birthday today so taking her shopping in the great indoors of a few malls.

Hopefully I'll find some time today to also get some work done.

WOOOOHOOOO! I'm selling my office building today that I used when I was an electrical contractor. The equity should pay down my debt to the IRS to the point that in a year or less I'll have them paid off and I can get a passport. (If you owe the IRS over $5,000 the State Dept. won't issue you a passport. They don't want people going where they can't be extradited) After I get the passport I'm off to Iraq to do electrical work! |bananna|

Oh boy, for once it really feels like morning when reading this thread. I slept in reaaaally late today after working on my paper all last night. But since I woke up I did manage to slip a site in your queues, hihi.

My high stress mode kicked in yesterday with no apparent reason why and I stayed up until almost 11pm working.

did you apply and were declined or is that just something you were told? Because I have major (over 6 figures) IRS debt and haven't had any issues renewing my passport (the last time in 2007) and this has been on going since 1986. Maybe it only applies to those getting a new passport? |huh

My piece of shit ex-contractor didn't run the cable lines correctly, which means I can't watch TV in my bedroom, which means I'm not sleeping up there until I can. The problem is that the splitter I need to get to is under the new hardwood floor |banghead| Our room is above the garage, so it looks like I'll be cutting some hold in the ceiling. I'm so glad I actually paid someone to fuck things up.

I'm gonna work until the new part-time contractor gets here after his real job, so I think he'd make nicer holes in the ceiling, seeing as I want to use a hammer. |hammer

The oral surgeon said I did not screw up anything so I am happy about that. Need to do a bunch of work today and thats it.

I'm not sure if this will work with the IRS as i don't know it would with the UK tax man but all debts are negotiable, i had a £14k debt with a bank that went to a debt collector, they contacted me about increasing the monthly payments so i offered them £5k in one lump sum to clear it all, they said they'd get back to me.

2 days later they phoned back and said they'd accept £7k, i said i couldn't go that far but at a push i could with 6, again 2 days later they phoned back with offer accepted. :)

Worth a try anyway.

For me its a great day, i got my tattoo....oke a bit bigger then i first wanted but it looks great, well i think it looks great and it didnt hurt at all!!!|bananna|
I will ask my hubby to take pics of it to post on the net, the tattoo shit went easy, something i didnt expected, me and some friends of mine where desining for months and i still wasnt happy, today the tattoo guy and me designed together and while he was setting the tattoo we changed some things and now i am totally happy!
Oke the tattoo thing is also a thing which i can remove of my "wanting to do list in life" (yeah i made a list like that some months ago and i have ask my hubby to do the same!)
I am trying to review now because the tattoo is on my right wrist, i will manage that!

For some reason I was up till 2am and then I slept till almost 8:30am. The most sleep I got in a while., and it feels good. Got some yard work to do and then I will be in front of the computer.

It is already in the 90s here, and I wonder how bad Vegas is going to be, it can't be as bad as Phoenix. (I hope)

Morning everyone. Today seems like a bunch of work will get done and then going to clean up the office. My desk is a total war zone of old coffee cups, water bottles, tons of papers to trash or file, tons of mail to open, behind me on my other desk is more of the same. ugh. Time to turn on some music and get through it.

The recruiter that offered me a job five years ago told me. I hope it's something for new applicants and I didn't waste five years for nothing |cry|

That's true when you owe income tax but what I owe is employee withholding from when I was a contractor. They won't negotiate that and it follows you to your death. They even garnished my disability payments until I set up a monthly payment plan |shocking|

The job is on an army base where I would eat, sleep and work. Those chicken shits don't attack the bases very much, they would rather send themselves and their countrymen to Allah by blowing themselves up in the market place or with IED's on the side of a road. I wouldn't venture off the base and the only road I'll ever be on is from the airport to the base and I'm sure that's patrolled so much there's no chance of IED's being placed.

Five years ago I was offered 85K/year and at that time $79K was exempt from federal income tax. I'm hoping now it's around $90K/year and if I use my sister's address in Texas I won't pay state income tax since they don't pay any. I can't make that kind of money slingin porn and contracting wasn't paying that much. Also, since you work so many hours they make you leave the country every 90 days, kind of R&R I guess and they pay for most of you airline ticket. I could see Europe again or visit Australia, New Zealand, or the Mediterranean area. Too good to pass up.

Happy late Tuesday..making the late afternoon rounds. Been working on stuff all day. Hope to get back in a regular routine of submits, I just rehashed my submit lists so we shall see.

We've had Tstorms everyday for a week and today lightning hit the tree across the street..good stuff, glad I unplugged the laptop as the rain started...

Greenie - the only way that job done by the contractor was worth it it, is if you OVERPAID them to do such a shitty job..thats when it all pays off.

Licker...I dont know how many squirters there are in Iraq, but Im sure you'll be able to get some exclusive hairy content...with that said ..you have to do what ya have to do..
