Ban at sleekssickestporn.com - need contact of owner
 

Dudes, I ask to help to find some contacts of owner or reviewer of sleekssickestporn.com Till yesterday's evening all my sites was listed. Traf was stable, and yesterday I receive "Site could not be inserted (Domain is banned)"

On submit-page there is ICQ of Rocco (520-865) - I have found out him in my contact-list, I tried to write to him earlier - and didn't receive any answer yet. May be he is in invisible-mode... Any way: I sent a messege by ICQ and e-mail. And still have received nothing

I am taking submissions, but I am slow with the sex-and-porn queue. I am rebuilding the sites and started with sleeks. this is a major rebuild and will take some time. but all my sites like we love free porn, nee dee, sleeks or sex-and-porn can take submissions and will be listed. on sleeks the listings will appear first and if you have problems there let me know (eg in this thread).

To all sleeks submitters: if you find your domains banned and you dont mind, then post all your domains with problems and include some reasons why you think you were banned or what could be the issue.

btw. we do not send any emails, not even confirmation emails.

Unbanned. Reason: old recip. If you want, you can keep this recip, but update the alt tag from "sleekssickestporn.com" to "Sleek's Sickest Porn" please.

Unbanned. Although you seem to use the new recips sometimes, there were submissions with the old recip after the "old-recip-expiration-date". But I did not trigger the filter to ban all these domains before, therefore you still have your old sites in there, but were not able to submit the last 2 days. Now your fine.

That recip (url, etc) would be correct, but I do not know where this "http://www.anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/" stuff comes from. Have a look at how the one you posted looks like.

But now, the old recip you used would also be fine. To explain the problem with the recips again:

- in 2005 we took over sleek's and added a rule that new recips should be used (that was when everyone started to require 2 links in the recip). So we applied a rule that anyone had to use new recips within 30 day.
- we never really triggered the ban though, the sites just where marked as banned and submissions could be continued.

- in 2008 - now - we started rebuilding sleek's to improve quality. We are starting cleaning up everything, so we first did not allow any new submissions from marked domains. That is why now probably many webmasters will face a ban. We are aware of that and willing to look at almost every case and consider an unban.

Is this one of those "Ban them all & see who's paying attention" things?

Nope, but the effect is kind of the same. Interesting to see that some submitters keep on submitting even said the domain was banned (I guess autosubmitters).

We are going to rebuild all scripts and all sites. We used to have one central server to manage all submissions, the ban list, to check the sites etc. That server got boged down a couple of times recently - let's say weekly. It also got slow to import the submissions to all other servers which are with all different hosts.

Performance was very poor and many submitters got nervous. Proof are many posts on g&j complaining about mysql errors and similar issues.

This decentralizing process will take some time, also the scripting. I had a ban list of 3,000 domains with minor (recips) AND major (redirecting) issues activated a few days ago, all based on older data (from 2005-2008). So in one swift many good submitters may have got hit. Sorry for them, but they soon will enjoy our improved sites.

wow.. you got my attention. I had a couple of sites listed on ******.com a couple of years ago. I go to submit a new site to sleek's tonight and find the Erotic Cove (eroticove.com) is banned. I did just remove the privacy block from my domain name yesterday, so it should be propagating. May I please be unbanned?

I'm not sure whether it's a good place to ask about the issue I've been having lately with nee.dee and we.love.free.porn. Since I can't find a better place, I'll give it a try here :)
I get another sort of an error while trying to submit my brand new freesites to the LL from above. They give me "Url already is in db ERROR". Wonder if it has something to do with rebuilding scripts you mentioned before.

I pulled him from my submit lists when I tried to contact him the first time.

Not too sure I want to work with folks that treat me like shit then come back and act like I was the problem. There were a LOT of good submitters that got their domains "blacklisted" for no real reason. And nothing pisses off a submitter that makes an honest effort to follow the rules than getting blacklisted with no response for months as to the reason.

I think I'll pass on submitting to anything owned by Rocco till he gets this figured out. I don't have time to keep redoing my recip tables every time he gets a hair up his ass.

I find I have less and less patience for that kind of shit. He contacted me about two years ago and offered a deal, it seemed ok but needed a bit of negotiation so I said so, didn't hear back from him for months. When I did hear back I was no longer interested.
With this kind of business you can't just put it on auto-pilot, you have to be there and you have to deal with people. Good webmasters don't look on that as an inconvenience.

I just got a message that the site I was submitting is already in the database at one of Rocco's lists and at another it says my domain is banned and it also says "success, inserted". What's up with that?

nope, that really means url already in db as the url has to be unique otherwise it cannot be inserted. if insertion fails then i assume (actually falsely, i know) that it is already in there. but if inserts fail for another reason this same error is returned. welove and nee dee will be rebuild soon, though. sorry for the problems.

Didn't treat you like shit, we just did not reply for whatever reason. Anyway, that was not nice, sorry for that.

I will post here when the sites are redone. ATM sleeks is pretty much working as supposed, this is the one which will not list banned domain (the other sites still list sites from banned domains, but will stop soon). Get your domains unbanned and your submissions are welcome.
