Does anybody else submit to Only best sex - I got a rejection e-mail this morning with the following reason:

"We do not list sites with Link O Rama recip any more."

Anyone know what this is about?

The solution is simple. Decide which one you wish to submit to and replace the other site in your recip table. Personally, I don't submit to lists that tell me who I can and can not have in my recip table. ;)

What new rules |crazy| coming up with an arbitrary rejection reason is more likely to achieve that.

I only recently added Only best sex to my submit list. Looks like it is time to remove Only best sex from my submit list.

Mine are still listed but I haven't tried submitting a new site since I got back from Vegas.

I'm still hoping it isn't true but with the quality and quantity of traffic that link-o-rama sends me compared to the traffic I get from onlybestsex - it's a no-brainer on which way to go.

Did I mention I HATE this kind of petty bullshit!

You know how many times I've thought about banning another link list like this? The biggest reason to not do a banning like this is because it really fucks up the submitter. Sure, I know the reason this is happening is because too many people are complaining that sites are being rejected because the onlybestsex recips are blind links, but fr fuck sakes! Just change the recip so that it's not blind (or not as blind) like everyone else has done.

Personally, I could give a flying fuck if onlybestsex links me or not (and yes, I do know the person that owns it) But think about the submitters - you're forcing them to choose sides & when that happens, no one wins.

Now if you're excuse me, I have to go inflate my head a bit more :D

Guess all I need now is a new (or old) hard working LL owner with a little integrity that can list about 130 decent freesites with a decent placement on the recip table in short order....

Somehow - I feel violated - so OBS can go fuck themselves and I'll find another partner for my ventures.

As a freesite submitter it kinda feels like a slap in the face.
As a linklist owner i could almost understand the frustration, but how hard is it to list the site name in the recip you dont even need to link it.

I've been submitting to Only Best Sex for a long time now BUT he's a ways down on my group of recips so I've never put their link on a page with LOR. So, while I'm sure my listed sites are fine, as a link list owner AND free site builder, this stinks and I'll be removing OBS from my submit list. |club|

My script has been set to automatically reject for several different link lists for a long, long time. One due to a stolen domain, another for stolen recip codes, and I think a few others - all had something or other to due with fucking over people in the link list/free site business. I even had a board member's site on that list, but removed it months ago since it was based on my distrust of the owner, not the link list itself and I eventually deemed it unfair to submitters. But I can say this with my head held high: I've never banned a link list that had traffic. :D

I'm sure Leon is just trying to turn submitters against the LOR and other link lists which don't accept OnlyBestSex's recips in their authored form. All is fair in love and porn. Frankly, I think he would have been far more clever if had demanded that submitters edit LOR's recip in some manner rather than outright banning the list itself. At least it would have been worth a giggle or two. But he is a mad pimpin', so who am I to judge?

One of you pissed off submitters should go register onlybestsex1.com - then do a search & replace & change all the links.

On the index of the new domain, put up a list of free sites.

Ask other if they want to do the same & list some of their free sites on the index as well.

Aside from that, I'm turning this shit upsidedown on Aug 1st :D

Both have been providing decent traffic, and I know there is the issue of the blind links on his standard recips (which I've changed on my sites in order to get my sites accepted everywhere else), but what's the deal?

Ultimately if I have to choose, then I'll go with LOR....

It started when Greenie and others made an attempt to reduce the number of "blind links" on the recip tables. (as per his comment above). Most of us edited the recips so that the links were no longer blind - although onlybestsex seems to feel blind links are ok and never fixed their recips.

Then without warning - and with about 30 of my completed FS's in their cue - onlybestsex changed their policy and started declining FS's that have link-o-rama recips on them - with want I assume were hundreds of freesites still in the cue. some 20 to 30 of those were mine.

I have no problem with an LL having a rule - or even changing it - but don't change it in mid-stream.

Of course the first couple of sites I submitted to LOR got rejected since I just blindly (no pun intended) copied and pasted the recip from OnlyBestSex..... I was looking everywhere on my site looking for the blind link after I got the rejection email and never thought that it was from the recip....

You're not the only one - but at least Greenie and Kit posted on the forums and we all knew what was going on and they both gave us ways to work around the issue. In this case - the owner of onlybestsex has been less than forthcoming.

That's the difference between a professional businessman and a dickhead. :D

Why Greenie did not make list of all blind recips in that time?
Why it comes up only after several weeks/months?
He is pissing off submiters, changing rules every week.

I'm sure that there will be more such declains from him, seems like he enjoys it! He will wait while all submiters change their recip tables and then after some weeks will piss them again! |thumb

Don't fucking blame GG for this mess.. or anyone else... It is entirely due to wanna be LinkLists looking to gain some advantage from YOUR free sites.

As has been said many times. A RECIP IS A RECIP! not a fucking blind link to help in an LL's bullshit SEO aims.

If Leon and others had just had recips like everyone else this problem would NEVER have arisen..

...But no... because of bullshit scams and those aiming to gain advantage thru deception and cross-linking BS! "We" have to be on the lookout continually for whoever is trying the next big trick...

As I have said many times.. these "keyword" recips do you no good.. they devalue YOUR page by making it a spammy entrance, and if you add mirrored entrances with the same bullshit.. then you are just shooting yourself in the foot..

I think he made his point very clear about what type of recips would be accepted and what he considered to be blind. One would have to be a stupid fuck to not know what type of recip would be declined all this time later - and it's not his job to hunt through every other lists' recip links and categorize each as either blind or not. It's pretty damn simple: the recip must have the name of the link list within it. How hard is that to understand?
