I woke up at 4:00 for no real reason, as usual.

I've really got nothing today, so I'll leave it at that :)

I woke up at 6:00 this morning after going to bed at 8:00 last night. I am told I have a bad snoring problem and I think it may be waking me up all night.

This was a busy weekend, and Monday. Saturday I went to Tucson to see a car for sale that my friend wanted to see and he ended up buying (a 1992 Cavalier RS convertible). It looks like new and runs great.

Than Sunday we went to a birthday / Superbowl party were we ate and drank too much and yesterday I had to take my mom shopping, clean her yard and worked on cleaning and organizing the garage.

I hope today I can get back to work.

It's snowing at the moment. I'm getting tired of this cold weather...
No off line work today so I'm catching up on reviews and I'm actually building a freesite for the first time in 5 weeks.
Dinner and a movie with the GF later today.
That's about it.

Mornin All

Another busy day for me. Getting my stitches out later today in addition to running a bunch of mundane errands plus trying to get some work done.

Had enough of the unreliable Comcast internet yesterday. I had the cheapest Earthlink DSL as backup internet and even that has been giving me faster speeds then the actual speeds I've been getting out of Comcast plus it has been way more reliable but AT&T had a much better deal so I cancelled the Earthlink DSL and ordered the faster AT&T DSL available in my area which is the 3 Mbps/384 Kbps. Not as fast as what I was suppose to be getting from Comcast but faster then what I've actually been getting from Comcast. AT&T is giving me around $300 in rebates and once I actually cancel Comcast I'll be spending almost $100 less each month.

Running monthly reports and figures.

yesterday was a big sales day, wondering if people are getting tax refunds or just a fluke.

Gas company came out and turned off our gas yesterday to swap out my meter. When they were done they left the gas off and told me that one of their guys would be by later to turn it on and re-light our pilots.

Many hours later the gas guy shows up and ends up checking all of our appliances. Long story short he disconnected our dryer and our hot water heater because he said the water heater wasn't venting properly. He said the only fix was to buy a "stubby" water heater that wasn't as tall and held less water. |angry|

Of course it's the water heater that came with the house when we moved so now I have to deal with finding out how to get this replaced without costing us money.

I was happy inhaling gas fumes for these past 6 months, bastards. |loony|

Sales have been up lately. Wondering if it's a fluke, cyclical, or actually the result of the extra work I'm doing.

If it was my house, I'd simply hook them back up until I could replace them. (Install a carbon monoxide detector.) He is probably required by some sort of regulation to disconnect anything that his little meter tells him isn't venting properly. You and your wrench are not held to those standards. Also, the venting problem is more likely due to how they are connected to the chimney or a blockage in the chimney and not the appliances themselves.

I'm going to spend the rest of the day posting silly statements on Facebook rather than working. Good day all. |headbang|

Good morning. Got my coffee and now it's time to get down to some work. I know the first couple projects I need to handle. Once I knock those out of the way I'll take a little break and enjoy the weather.

The Buick invitational is at Torrey Pines right now and I'm thinking tomorrow I might go check out part of the practice round and catch a smooth buzz while the weather is still decent.

Good morning all. Standard stuff happening here sometime today.
We are trying to break a bout of cabin fever, so last night we went to see Taken, which I thought was ok but a bit far fetched and tonight we'll be seeing Mall Cop. Talk about two extremes! Before that though, I want to head into town to get a few odds n sods along with a dvd called Darwin Awards, which I think will be much funnier if it's available.

I watched Darwin Awards a couple of weeks ago and would recommend it.

Survived payroll Monday..deposited my life away for the next 15 years and took a 10 hour nap. It was a good Monday.

I must call the TaxMan today and get an appointment to settle up with the IRS. Ive avoided it way too long. |angry|

Otherwise it's a typical Tuesday .. ebay shipping, school, "ladies Lunch" which is now 1pm bingo and then settling in for Scrubs and Fringe tonight.

go see The Wrestler.. excellent movie even if Mickey Rourke doesn't even remotely resemble himself from 9.5 weeks.

A plumber -- paid for by the guy who didn't find anything wrong during the housing inspection -- just left and he said we're fucked as well.

A second plumber is coming by this afternoon, he's from the company that fucked up the install so it should make for some good humor to hear how he justifies these fuck-ups. |tomato|
