Closing Submits & Leaving Biz
 

I wanted to let everyone know that I'm closing the submits in the next few days at Click 4Sex Fun and Sexy Smut Links.

With a heavy heart, I've decided I need to leave this business. I've spent over 10+ years in adult and have made a lot of very good friends. This is for personal reason as well as the fact that I'm just not making the money that I need to at this point in my life.

My plan is this: close submits but leave the links lists up for now. All reviews are up to date. I'll review/list any sites that come in over the next few days.

As some already know, I'd like to sell my little porn empire. Domains, link lists, hubs, blogs, free sites, etc. Not sure if this is going to be possible though with the way the economy is. As a heads up to everyone, if I'm unable to sell, I will have to just quietly pull the plug, shut down the domains and walk away. Before anyone suggests just leaving the sites/domains up, that's not financially possible right now.

Wow...you were always very helpful to me getting started and your sites are such high quality. It's tough, as I've become painfully aware.

I hate to here that ladydesigner. You were one of the first people to inspire me in this biz.

Your lists were one of my favorite ones, some times is pain in the ass to get listed but that helps be more aware of how quality are the sites you are submitting and keeps your eyes opened!

Thanks everyone. This is VERY sad for me but best for my family. I seriously hope to not burn any bridges and do this the right way as one day, I may find myself wandering back. You just never know.... |crazy|

take care and try and leave your sites online, cause I still think and hope that someday things will turn around in this country and those crooks will be shut down, (the people that have ruined our biz)

Aww, LadyD I'll be sad to see you go. Hope all works out for you no matter what path you may go down.

|smooch| Sorry to hear that .. it's a tough and tragic time right now but we still have HOPE that things will change. Just because you are leaving the biz doesn't mean you can't stop in and say HI once in a while and many have made a comeback -- you could be our "Phoenix" .. Good luck for wherever that path may lead.

Let me know if you don't get any offers and I'll see what I can do. I'd hate to see you lose any residual income from past submitted freesites which I know you built a lot of.

Selling is always an option but you may reconsider what HowlingWulf said. In these times you will not be paid for what hard work you put into your sites.
When it comes to the last decision please reconsider that here you will find webmaster's that may easily offer you a some server space.
(Including ME |thumb)

Oh man! You guys (and girls!) are the BEST!! I sincerely appreciate all the offers of hosting and the great advice you've given. I've spoken to some of you already and will go answer my PM's in a second. I just got home and was totally shocked by the well wishes from all of you. Let me just say, this isn't all about money. Folks, I'm just plain tired and need a break. Who knows, I might be back someday. It's nice to know y'all will still be here if that happens. :)

Damn, I am so sorry to hear that, you will be missed for sure. Hope all will work out and don't forget about us. One thing comes to mind, to quote UW: "We are the monks of the industry". What I refer to is the fact that I feel like we are family, and one of us is going away. :(
