Well the CES and the avn adult entertainment expo are leaving Jan 10, so it appears Internext will follow directly after (early schedule is posted the 10th through 13th at the Palms again)

I'm going to be in my 2 BR at the Planet Hollywood towers that week (though as always I'll hit my casino hosts too :) )

Anyone have any early plans on attending?

We really do want to go, but unless something changes very quickly with our income, I doubt we'll be out there.

That is my EXACT problem - lol. I have some free flights on Southwest & I can get a room at The Venetian anytime I want, it's the not gambling part that worries me :)

My decision wont be made till January 1st probably haha. Its the finances for sure. Summer has always been slow for me, this one especially..so I need to rebuild the wealth.

....Well, I am sure Ginny and I will be there...after all, its only a 60 mile drive! We are lucky to be that close.....otherwise we would not be able to make it either. It is always a treat to get together with everyone! I doubt we will attend Internext, (fucker is too expensive) but we will 'prolly book a room at the New Orleans early! yea I don't bother to pay for the badge anymore. I've been enough times to know what the show floor is like. It can be nice to have one, but I can do the little business I need to just in peoples rooms and at the bars. Really isn't that big of a deal. Most of it is an excuse to go hang out with people that are in the biz and have a little fun and get to write it all off.

I think I'll be there.. dammit... (not dammit to see all of you but dammit to be still in Vegas after 5 years of trying to get out)

I haven't seen mu schedule yet, but it's probably a safe guess that I'll be there for at least some of it.

The Florida show didn't even have a show floor, just a few tents around the pool.

What bDok said, you just bought a house didn't you? I hear Condos are going DIRT CHEAP there these days. Vegas is one of the hardest hit from the economy I think I heard.

I will be in Vegas for sure Friday January 8th until January 14-15. Bringing my 2 buddies that have come before just for the party.

you can sort by area as well.

Always the cheapest in the area of the Palms is G-OLD coast. But there have been deals at the Palms for 50$ per night and I saw one at the Orleans for 19$ per night so check for the dates.

and YES i did just buy a house here.. but even if I move, my son will probably stay. and there are such deals to be had here. .4/5 bedroom houses in very upscale areas that 2/3 years ago sold for 1M+ are now below 300K. 500K homes going for under 150K. If you have extra cash to invest, this is a great market because Vegas will come back, eventually.

My house has actually increased in value in the 6 months I'm here but this is an established community area and not some new master planned addition.

Anyway...There are deals around for Vegas after the 10th arrival.. CES is here from the 7-10th. I suspect as it gets closer, the current high rates for those days will drop as well.

Hell - I just got back from Vegas last night.......

Something about that place always makes me glad to be back home.

I'm planning on getting back there in January but I still need to see how things go for December.
