I am throwing together a site with all the info on the event.

It's going to be held in downtown Chicago on Saturday, May 22nd.

If your planning on attending this year let me know.
I'll put you on the list.
You can reply to this thread, PM or ICQ (25654284) me with your nick name and a site URL that you own and I'll pop you onto the attendee list.

Also, if you want to co-sponsor and donate $$ or a prize, please let me know that as well.

I plan to be there. Haven't been to Chitown in a decade or more i have fond memories of that city. Just becasue I'm planning on it doesn't mean that one of my girls may interfere with those plans. I'll hopefully provide a confirm soon.

Originally my friend KAthy wanted to go to Vegas for her Bday, but I brought up there was a gathering in Chicago and shes been there a few times and loves it so now we may be heading here for her Bday

I would have been happy to attend, unfortunately I will be in Europe for the Eurowebtainment get together in Mallorca Spain.

Not yet. Surfn and I were supposed to go look last Saturday, but we had a "Massive Anit-War Demonstration" in the city. So it would have been a nightmare.

Hopefully we'll get it soon. I know people want to start making plans.

The date is locked in, it's just the place that is up in the air.


So far it seems as though there is a lot of interest. It should be a great time.

I see you have the date locked but no place , can You change the date for a week later maybee? 29th ?

That date is pretty firm as others have commited to it.

We will be there and looking forward to it, the idea of something less then 3 hours drive is very exciting to us since we have flown all over the country for gatherings.

Hopefully weather will be great.

We were there for the Purdue game in '02.

Great stadium, Great staff (much friendlier then what we have, we got in early and was looking for our seats and the VP of the stadium came up to us and helped us find them)

But it was fucking hot as hell, hottest game I've ever been to, it was so hot that when the blimp covered the sun the crowd cheered, that was the only ounce of shade in the entire stadium, the B&B we stayed at lied when they said the stadium was within walking distance.... we took the cab back.... LONG walk.... (Next to the Hall of Fame)

This will be the Year Purdue will Win at ND…. The Streak will end! You heard it here first!

Yep, 3 - 4 blocks west of it.... “English Rose” I think it was... across from the ‘Tippecanoe house”... which had awesome food, and even served us when we was all sweaty, sun burned and in shorts and t-shirts... no one told us it was a "formal" place so we kind of stood out... =o) But kick ass food!

We spent the day after at the Hall of Fame… Cool place.

I've never been in the Hall of Fame. It's a political white elephant and I avoid anything to do with it.

Chicago, huh? This is really, really tempting. My family is in Eastern Iowa/Western Illinois and I always fly by way of Chicago to get there. My schedule this year is really packed so I didn't know when I'd be able to go out to visit, this might present the perfect opportunity to do so!

Plus Chicago is one of my all time favorite cities. |afro|
