I just applied for their MC this morning and I've started switching to them for payments.

Let's hope that they don't crash and burn like ePassporte did.

yeah, CONGRATS !!! now convert all non-paxum-belivers from still-epass-set-up sponsors

Useless 2010-11-04 08:31 PM

They're lucky to have you. Being that you are a well known and trusted name in the payment game, you're an asset to the company.

Flip 2010-11-05 03:17 AM

Very pleased for you mate...

I might sign up now...

However this time I think I might split a few payments across different cards lol...

You do not need to add a bank account or credit card to sign up for an account.
You can open an account from Paxum.com
To order the MasterCard you will need to upload documents to verify your identity. If you do so then the money will be deducted from your balance leaving it negative until you receive your first payment from a sponsor.

I Miss You Much

It takes about 1 week to make and send the card then its sent from Canada so another week on top of that so about 2 weeks to receive the card in USA.

Congrats on the new job.
Better look into getting one of these paxum things then.

I setup a pin# on the website for my paxum card, but I need to change it, and the option to change it is still available. Is there any problem with changing the pin# ? How often can it be changed?

You can change the PIN anytime you want to do it but there is a $1 fee for it we are charged this fee from our bank for PIN changes.

My Paxum card got blocked because it wouldn't work at the ATM. Waiting for it to get reactivated, and I need to change the pin or something so it doesn't happen again. Still haven't been able to withdraw a dime.

Can you please email me your log in email to michaelolsen@paxum.com then I will look into it.

Thanks

ponyman 2010-12-04 02:22 PM

I got a message in my Paxum message center that my Paxum card is reactivated, pin reset, and was asked to change it. So, I just changed it, and now off to my bank's ATM to try a withdrawal. I hope it works.

I live in Thailand and 99% of the ATM's charges a $5 fee for withdrawals except for one small bank where its free and they also have the highest per transaction amount of any ATMs here. Luckily they have ATMs at both the 2 major shopping places in my town :)

altwebdesign 2010-12-09 03:43 PM

well done on the job!

Cleo 2010-12-19 10:45 PM

Has anyone used their Paxum Mastercard to withdrawal money from an ATM or buy something with it?

I ask because I tried at an ATM and kept on getting insufficient funds. Then I tried to use it to buy something at Amazon and the transaction got declined so I'm wondering what's up with that.

It Appears It Wasnt Such A Good Start With Juicy Ads Either.

From Juicy Ads Twitter Page This Past Wednesday:

"Paxum payments have been delayed due to delays on Paxum's end. They have not loaded our account funds that we sent several days ago"

You have to transfer the money to your card 1st via their admin, then you can withdraw it (same thing happened to me)

GonZo 2010-12-20 05:04 PM

As I said 7 years ago I will say again . . .

You do realize that this is an attempt to skirt Visa regulations just like Epassporte?

As soon as they hit Visa's radar by making an ego feeding movie or some scandal regarding big dick pills we will probably see the same thing.

Yeah it was explained to me in a support ticket that I opened up

I say enjoy it while it lasts. |thumb

Normally I leave zero money in these types of accounts but when ePassporte made it so hard to load funds I started leaving a few hundred in my ePassporte account.

I lost less than $5 in the ePassorte mess and wouldn't have even lost that if it wasn't for me letting a small amount of money sitting in there to pay for traffic each month. Something that I never did before ePassporte lost the ability to load funds from my bank's debit card.

Now I'm off to take my cash out of the ATM on my Paxum card. :D

pc 2010-12-20 07:30 PM

Epass was so convenient for me that at some point epass payout option from sponsor become major factor for me to promote that sponsor.
sponsor > epass > atm > money in my pocket fast and easy.
Paxum and Payoneer just fill that empty slot for me. I didn't sign up with CashX yet but if I have to I will.
I lost $2.53 on epassporte.

Cyber 2011-01-02 08:34 PM

I've read somewhere today that Michael doesn't work for them any longer. |huh
