To all link list owner who might have these sites listed, I would appreciate if you could remove the following sites. These templates have been stolen from me and I will deal with the issue the proper way but for now I ask you to please remove them if you have them listed.

Removed and I will not relist. The saddest part here is that CrazySy creates such templates for a very reasonable cost. I consider this to be doubly heinous. Not only were the templates stolen, but a fellow webmaster was deprived of income.

FIRST....I DID NOT STEAL HIS CONTENT, BANNERS or links.. I duplicated his table layout...I used my own content..etc and verbiage..
Second...I did do that..I am sure there is not any one on this board who has not duplicated a layout..That is not stealing. There is only so many ways to make and put tables on a page..
Third...I have always been nice and friendly to everyone on this board.. I have never been in a pissing contest with anyone...
Fourth..Pulling my links will not kill me..I have not made a sale with any free sites I have submitted to those I submitted to in the last three and half months..
Fifth.. I chose to do this because of the lack of sales..Thinking maybe a new layout would work..well crazysy layout has not produced any better results. no sales..low hit count
Sixth..the Hit count from all sites to my sites has dropped through the floor..
and FINALLY..I will feel OK being removed by anyone here that can say the never duplicated..copy or other wise and idea from someone else site..hhmmm

A little advice for the ten or so free site submitters still out there:

People make mistakes, steal, borrow, lie, use search terms they shouldn't, etc. As awful as getting caught red-handed is, handle the situation honorably. Don't let the emotion of the situation get the better of you. In other words, avoid fight or flight syndrome.

Mike, I wish you would have stepped up and offered to pay for the design(s). Sy is a respected and honorable guy. I'm sure he would have far preferred payment over seeing you getting banned at a few link lists. He's a businessman, not a revenge-seeking bastard. This situation didn't work out well for you, Sy, or link list owners.

I took a quick look at Filthy Earl. I didn't see any of your sites using Sy's designs, so I didn't delete anything. (I doubt Earl sends 2 clicks a month anyway.) Your angry rant bothers me more than the design theft. But I've laid out more angry rants and giant, incomprehensible "fuck you's" than probably anyone on this board, so I'm not one who can fairly judge the situation. Attacks like that, though, leave a longer lasting impression than design theft.

If you have it in you, Mike, come back and apologize to those who may have been offended. Maybe the income from free sites isn't enough to get you to eat a small piece of humble pie. I don't know. All I can tell you is that this crowd is often much more forgiving than what might appear on the surface.

Do you buy a car based on the ad slick or TV Commercial? No - it's the test drive or the package deal that sells most of us. If you are not making any sales, it could be either the word isn't getting out there (like your freesites are not listed anywhere), or the product itself is less than desirable.

UW, I really like what you said. We all make mistakes. I got my ass raked over the coals offline for a few just this week, and it isn't pleasant.

Mike, I totally didn't know what I was doing when I got in this business. I had a non-adult host and got listed on the hun and burned almost $600 in B/W in 3 days before I got switched to a different host. My site designs sucked. I have changed fetishes I've promoted a lot before I found some that work for me.

Stealing a design someone charges a price for isn't the way to learn. Looking at other's free sites, getting ideas on placement of advertising, text, etc, then building your own, ok. Listing up free sites here and asking for a critique helps too. I've built 100's and 100's of templates, and I'm sure some resemble others that people have built, as you said there is only so many ways to arrange items on a page.

Don't let your mistakes keep you from apologizing, leanring, and making money in this business. If I did, I would have quit a long time ago.

I will contact Sy later and make financial amends and I will go to each of the Link owners and apologize personally ..I just felt attacked so fast.. at first I thought it might be everyone was lashing out on me because of the situation with MML. I understand indirect anger, Yet Even the fact that before I could delete the questioned sites I was thrown off most of everyone’s link list ..I was never approached privately by Sy about this ..He just asked everyone to delete me ..I guess I could understand doing this ..I would been more than happy to have him tell me privately to do this and all of you know I would.. I have never meant to do anything malice to anyone on this board....I am sorry for what I did ..It was a mistake I will not repeat it ..I hope everyone could forgive me ..if not ..ok then I will ask to be deleted and move on

Pagan..I do make good sales on my sites I own ..Through pic post's and SEO traffic, blogs ..ect ..It’s the free sites that I spend time like everyone else to build that have fallen through the floor...It’s not my product ..I would never in my dream relied strictly on a single marketing source for my income ..god no. My rebills are also very strong ..that’s prove of good content also..

I paid Sy for his work. You could have avoided all this by doing the same.

As far as the quality of your free site I just remember the horrendously distorted squashed thumbs on your galleries. I listed them anyway but I remember thinking that it couldn’t be conducive to making sales. Then on another occasion a bunch of your stuff went 404 so it got deleted but I continued listing your stuff anyway. You only actually had around 8 sites listed by me when you got caught stealing Sy's work so it isn't surprising at all that you weren't making sales from your free sites.

As far as comments about lack of free site submitters in this thread I've actually picked up a bunch in the last several months and my traffic is also up. I'm actually feeling cautiously optimistic about the rest of this year.

I am being humble..what else do you want me to say...a far as my sig..its a joke..every on knows this..

OMFG Cleo..As I said before I am very sorry I did this.. I guess it does not matter. I responded as fast as I could to delete them and yet I was thrown into the fire. Yes it was wrong what I did..I just do not want to keep repeating myself..As I stated Cleo I would make it right between me and Sy..You know what, I haven't even had the chance yet to make amends and I am still being slammed |deadhorse..Just whoever has the power to delete my account here please do..I can't find where its located to delete ones account..I need to focus forward. Here's the thing: not EVERYONE will accept your apology. It's their prerogative not to, as it is also theirs to ban you if they want. Then you have the flip side, and others will see you've made a fuckup, owned up, accepted you were wrong, and learned from it. Shit, no-one is perfect, far from it, but you aren't going to convince everyone you really ARE sorry, and it's not just a 'I got caught, oops!' - that's the way of the world. I just wanted to say I am cool now, the copied sites were removed and that's all I wanted. I have no say in what link list owners choose to do as far as black listing goes, but that's not what I was after. I neither wanted him to get black listed, nor want any money from him.

I work hard to make my living and simply hate to see people help themselves and use my work without permission. This is not the first time and am sure won't be the last, but I do click on most links here and also visit link lists from time to time to make sure my work is not copied.

They have steal but they must give credits to the original webmaster/creator. You can e-mail that person who copy/steal your templates. |catfight|
