Getting to be that time of year, 48 days until the show. Damn that is just 6 weeks.

Out of the two shows this is my favorite one. I like the fact that it is all inside of one nice big air conditioned hotel. I seem to do way more business at this one I think because it is all in one place.

I just got a hotel room for me and and a few friends at the Diplomat for Friday and Saturday night. Figured it would be a good idea to have a place to chill, but I live here so I doubt I'll actually sleep in it.

So who is planing to attend this year's show?

I'll be driving down now. I finally freed up some time. And I feel pretty good. :)

I have a room booked at the Westin and an exhibitor badge waiting on me.

If Cleo's not going to be sleeping in her room, does this mean we can put the mattress's on the walls & have a mosh pit? :D

Hmmm, a mosh pit… I would say what goes on in the room stays in the room. Luna and Angel will also have the room so go for it. :D

I'll just be glad not to have a 17" laptop surgically attached to me as I'm attending this show. I think I walked lopsided for a week after the Vegas show. LOL

We will be there for sure, in fact we will be in FL Wednesday the latest.

It's a great convention, but they picked a really bad time of year to have it. That is one of our hottest months. It feels like it's 150 degrees outside. |goodnight

My car's dashboard said it was 101 outside today, but the humidity hasn't really hit yet. :D

I would imagine that the reason they hold it here at this time of year is they get a very good deal on the hotel. It really is one of the nicest hotels in this area.

It doesn't really matter how hot it is outside unless you are relaxing at the pool since the whole show is inside the hotel.

I guess the heat doesn't bother me that much since I live here.

Honestly, I been to the last 2 there, and I don't recall it being hot.

Maybe I drank more then I thought, but We speant time on the beach and all points between and I don't recall thinking "fuck, its hot" at anytime.

Fuck it, I'm still coming down!

Is it beneficial for us little guys to go? I am sure there is some partying going on that I would enjoy, but will I learn something too, or is it more for the big hitters?

I live up in Port Charlotte so it isn't that hard for me to get down there.

It can be a huge benefit for anyone who wants to network with others in the biz. |shake|

I just didn't want to make the trip and get there and look like an idiot because I don't own some big link list or run a sponsor program or something like that. Would be great to make some biz connections so I will try to make it.

Then you can all sit back and say "Who the hell is the fat, bald guy playing with himself over in the corner?" |doh|

We all have to start somewhere, unless you inherited your smut empire. ;)

And the response to that would be "which one?"

Internext can be very good for small biz people. We use it mainly to see people we only see at these things, make new contacts and every now and then we get a shoot or 2 in.

It's what you make of it. I personally don't care for the floor show myself, too much of the same stuff, and I can only use so many free t-shirts, but that is the reason for most people to come.

I just come to have fun =o)

I would at least spend a day down there to see if you find it worth it, some of the best business I have done is at a party and there WILL BE parties.

The smaller get togethers like the hospitality suites and parties is the reason that I go to these things, not the show floor.

For us non smokers this Internext features real windows that actually open to let in fresh air even if this fresh air is a bit warm and humid. LOL

I still don't know if I'll be there or not. We have a baby due early September and we'll have to see how mama is progressing (our first three, she was put on bed rest about 7 months in).

Dr Bizzaro, you will be pleased to hear I won't be there, so I won't be in your way to cash the big prices..;)

I'll make the long journey across the big water thing that seperates Europe and the US. I only hope that I can get through the customs without ending up in some small room and having some guy put on his rubber gloves. :)
