The current temp is -1°F (-18°C). The high today is forecasted to be 3°F (-16°C), the low -5°F (-21°C), and don't get me started on the wind chill! The good news? There's no snow in the forecast |snowman2

My mom has a doctor appt this morning, so I'll be dragging her out of the house in about 3 hours. Other than that, I'll be working, trickling water out of the faucets, and hopefully finishing up my Harry Potter on HBO marathon http://trinixy.ru/engine/data/emoticons/27.gif

We have been hearing about the extreme cold in the US. I think you got all of ours. We have hardly been below freezing this winter. What snow managed to stay on the ground has been melted by rain. They are telling us this is the new normal winter - rainy, much less snow, much more runoff. We aren't at flood stages yet, but some areas are pretty close. We may get some snow today, but mostly cold rain. Sigh... You don't have to convince us that the climate is warming - we can show it to you. We were out running errands - crops are already peeking through the snow! Yep, we haven't had enough snow or enough deep freezes to kill some of the crops. Drive past some fields and it is eery -- green plants pushing up through the snow.

It's still around -0 C, so no complaining. Even the pavements are better to walk now.

Been in bed most of the day due to my back, but I will work for some hours now.
Then it's something on Netflix. Considering starting on The Punisher.
