I'm watching Porn King: The Rise and Fall of Ron Jeremy.
I still have roughly 30 minutes left, I just thought I would mention it.

I never cared for scenes including him when I was a young masturbating porn consumer, so I can't really say I lost a hero ... |lol|

Has anyone else seen it?

I finished Pistol on Disney+ last night.
I really enjoyed these Sex Pistols episodes.

I was way too young when it happened (I was 10-12 in their lifespan).
But I got slightly into them when we covered "Holiday in the Sun" in a band we had in the early 90s.

We're a global audience :D

Disney has released the entire FX limited series, on Hulu in the U.S. and on Disney+ in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. “Pistol” is a six-episode limited series about a rock and roll revolution. The furious, raging storm at the center of this revolution

I found out that Yellowstone is back for a new season (5) on November 13. Then, in December we'll get "1923" which is... ahem... both a sequel to "1883", and a prequel of Yellowstone. Basically lots of stories about the Duttons.

Also watching Lord of the Rings on Prime. Very good.
and also HOD. Also good.

Watched Hasan Minhaj: The King's Jester comedy special and found it funny and eye opening.

I want to see s2 of a specific series, but I can't for my life remember the title. Can anyone help?

Western, lawless town, Asian-looking guy saying cocksucker all the time.

COCKSUCKER WOO!|lol|

Deadwood

There's also a movie that came out 2-3 years ago for after you finish the series.

JustRobert 2022-12-03 11:46 AM

I finished Wednesday and I really liked it. Then again, I like most of Tim Burton's stuff. i sure hope there is a second season!

ArtWilliams 2022-12-28 11:47 AM

Watched Tar with Cate Blanchett. It's a "serious movie" about an out of control orchestra conductor. It might be the first drama I've watch in a year or two. I liked it. Blanchett will probably get an Oscar nomination for her role. (Beware, it was on early release [as of Dec 27] and cost us C$24.99.)

Two nights ago we watched Glass Onion, the sequel to Knives Out. [No Jamie Lee Curtis this time. :(] It's free on Netflix. I call this type of move a "time waster". It was entertaining and I'm glad I watched it (but I'm happy I didn't pay for it). There were a number of plot holes that didn't make it very believable.

You just saved me 2 hours of my life!|lol|

Started watching: 1923 on Paramount+

I'm just 2 episodes in. So far it's pretty good. Hasn't really grabbed be yet.

ArtWilliams 2023-01-01 04:46 PM

Saw Avatar 2 last night. I did not like it. IMHO, if you took away the amimation it would be a "cowboys and indians" movie with all the cliches you come to expect with that kind of movie. At 3.5 hours it's far, far too long. That's time I won't get back.

JustRobert 2023-01-02 11:00 AM

We finished Andor yesterday and as stated in another thread
It was really good!
Looking forward to season 2 but that's 2024. At least Mandalorian season 3 comes March 1st.

We always wait for all episodes to be out so we can binge but I completely understand doing that!

JustRobert 2023-01-07 10:26 AM

Continuing with D+
We finally watched She Hulk which I liked.
Now onto Willow I believe.

ArtWilliams 2023-01-07 01:49 PM

Just finished the Scottish sitcom Still Game. It's on Netflix Canada.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0281491/

Their accents are so strong I had to put on subtitles. Yes, really. LOL

Watching Manifest on Netflix. Started out good but they're losing my attention now that all the god stuff is coming in. Also b-rated actors...

Wednesday was the first series I watched together with my 11 and 9-year old sons. Liked it. Too bad season 2 might not be on Netflix anymore. Don't want to pay extra to watch it but probably will have to since my youngest is really into it.

On season 4 of "Better Call Saul". Awesome :D

Wife (no longer girlfriend since a few months) is watching Virgin River at the moment. Watching it with her, story is 13 in a dozen but the scenery is awesome.

Greenguy 2023-01-10 05:52 AM

Watched The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent & I howled at a couple of the lines in the movie. Nick Cage throws himself under the bus the entire movie & it's great!
