I Guess I Should Explain Myself...
As most of you know, I've had some major back problems & surgeries. Well, back problems lead to pain meds, which leads to dependency, which leads to addiction, which leads to detox, which leads to rehab, which leads to this post.
Now you know why I'm days behind on everything :( |
I wish you all the best, I know what you're struggling with.

Thanks Jolly |shake|

Keep strong, you can make it!
|
You're strong Greenie, you can make it through ♥
|
Best wishes. Take care man :-)
|
You missed the important steps to keep in mind while battling through the detox/rehab part of this fun trip.
Back problems >> surgeries >> pain meds >> dependency >> addiction >> detox >> rehab >> RECOVERY >> BETTER LIFE. You're on your way now and you can do this. You have people on your side. :) |
As Simon said, things will come through for a better life. :)

Right now, my biggest problem is getting to sleep. Throw my sleep apnea onto that, where I'm laying there for hours & hours with the mask on praying I go to sleep, well, it's not fun :( But, I'm trying various OTC sleep aids & I did manage a couple hours on the machine last night |thumb My sincere thanks to all the support me |shake| |smooch| |
Hang in there Greenie, you rock!
|
Oh man that sucks Greenie! You'll pull through this and come out clean on the other end.
|
Good luck with it :) Addiction sux.
|
Good luck with it :)
|
Be strong... you can make it.
|
Sorry dude. What are the doctors saying about things? Can they help at all with some other types of aids?
Be strong. |
Good luck. Don't think of the struggle, think of the future afterwards.

Rehab: I'm going on an opiate blocking shot this week |thumb Back Pain: Right now, I'm just taking it easy. My back does hurt a lot, but not nearly as much as I thought it would. It's kinda like my back always feels like it's due for my next dose of pain meds. Once I get a couple more weeks out from any pain meds & my body adjusts itself, then we can look into other non-addictive alternatives. |
First of all, I wish you the best in your recovery. I have had several folks in my life(including GF), dealing/dealt with what you are. They mostly have all come though the other end. But they all know it's a step by step process. No backtracking allowed.
Also, as for as your pains, have you looking into acupuncture? I know a couple of people who swear by it now. Again, good luck buddy, pulling for you. |
Stay stronk friend

Me stronk!!! :D

The feeling of being caressed by a duckling's wet feet. As duckling feet are wet, and slimy, being stronked might cause you to create several typos and stare at people for long periods of time, without blinking. http://th01.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/...el-d5ce91d.jpg |

Good luck Greenie! All I can say is stay stronk! :) And what Simon said, X2.
|
Don't be ashamed, most everyone has their addictions to one thing or another. Coming out to your peers is a huge step towards recovery in any situation. Best wishes for your future my friend.
