Monday January 18th (aka So Much Netflix Is Coming!)

Morning! http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/.../icons/cat.gif

Mark your calendars!!

...and make sure to include Feb 19th:

Had a (thankfully) true 24 hour virus starting Saturday evening. I know it was only a 24 hour virus because it truly ran thru me by Sunday evening |couch|

Star Wars VII was great in 3D at the local IMAX. I forgot just how engulfing a movie is at an IMAX |thumb

The Bitch is off today....so I'm following suit |banana|

Good Morning :)

It's just another day of work around here thou there is a chance of rain for today and tomorrow so no work on the house. Actually I'm worried if it comes today it will screw up some patch work I did yesterday.

Better get to it as there is a bunch of stuff I liked to get done today.

Still no 3D Star Wars at the big screen IMAX here.

I was about ready to suspend my Netflix account so good to hear that lots of new stuff coming from Netflix.

Just a day of work and errands planned on this MLK day.

Living in the Washington, DC metro area everyone is off. So, it's food, folks and fun today and every federal holiday. In other words if the bank is closed I am closed ;-)

Nothing exciting happening here - I don't even got Netflix.

Still cold, but could be colder, so I guess I should shut up in case it does get colder, just to spite me!

Save your money. Its not real 3D. I paid for the IMAX experience. $28 bucks. Not worth it. Great movie but...

That sounds like the movie the Martian. It was a waste seeing it in 3D as well.

I was disappointed and relieved. When I was a kid my uncle took me to Circus World, near Disney...long since gone. They had this huge IMAX. Like many stories tall. I couldn't handle it. I get vertigo or something.

But the new IMAX was much smaller and not even close to the 4DX which is like being in the cockpit of a star fighter.

There were a few cool 3D things that I feel might have been layered in. Not much though.

Did you like The Martian? I saw the previews at SW and it looks great.

Cleo 2016-01-19 10:27 AM

I did like the Martian very much.
